Not worth keeping installed
Weak controls, forced ad-heavy flow, and poor gameplay feel. A bike combat game depends on control precision, and this fails there first. Removed after a short session.

Bad Controls
I tried playing this game on my tv and wanted to test it out before deciding to buy, but—after playing the first race—I could’ve even get out the end-level menu because the buttons do not work: it shows “Press ‘X’ to Accept” or “Press ‘B’ to Exit”… but you aren’t able to exit the screen. Hopefully, this issue is resolved soon, because I really enjoyed the little bit I played. Also, I’m playing with a PlayStation controller, and there is no ‘B’ button.

When I go to unlock full game and click on that option, I get a message saying I can’t purchase the game. What’s going on?

Big fan of this game but the gamepad mapping is atrocious and broken.
I always liked this game and was pleased to see it on the App Store but since the controls can be more precise I wanted to use my Xbox controller. In the controller menu it shows the button layout, and it’s basically like how I’d want it to be (triggers being gas/break etc.) but when I connect the controller and start the game somehow the controls are all messed up, B is gas and the attacks and the weapon selection are BOTH on the d-pad and all this other nonsense and there’s no way to change the control layout, that makes no sense to me considering the control layout in the menus look correctly mapped. I’ve started to play and gave up in frustration multiple times already trying to somehow make the controls work but it’s basically broken. I also tried it on my backbone and had the same control mapping issues. Both my apps are up to date and I’m lost on what to do to fix it, am I missing something obvious or is this a known bug that you guys are working on or something? Any feedback would be really helpful. Again, big fan of the game would like to play more but with the gamepad control mapping issues it makes it hard. Thanks!
Fix Controller layout
For some reason the buttons aren’t lining up with the game play making the game unnecessarily difficult. Why is B the acceleration, SELECT the nitros, the D pad is attack as well as weapon change? The only things correct is the analog sticks and the left trigger for breaks. Also the pause button, Y, X, and A doesn’t do anything.

Best game using backbone button mapping is not as it shows in control menu and mapping through backbone doesn’t allow for the d pad to be swapped with cross circle triangle or square. Also to accelerate is circle. Please allow for in game button mapping or fix. Thanks
Could’ve been the game I love.
Controller fixes needed. All, and I mean all of the button layout is wrong. Yet there is no way to remap. I’ve seen so many other reviews both online and here in the App Store. The external controller scheme makes the game almost unplayable. I can’t remember the last time I wrote a review for a game but this is unacceptable. I was gearing up to give you guys money… then I played it. I mean just fix it. You could make a lot more money off this great ip.

Great game
This game is really really good. I’m curious as to whether this is the same developers and game as the Road Redemption for PC from a few years back. In any case, this game is really great. It’s hard, has a bit of a learning curve but is very rewarding. Overall it’s a very well-made game with clearly a lot of effort put into it. probably one of the best I’ve played from the App Store lately.
Fighting game on bikes
Road rash was a motorcycle racing game. This is the opposite. Forces you to fight and “kill” the other riders. Pretty lame.
Reminds me of the 90s
I forgot what game it was but I vaguely remember playing a game like this long ago in the mid to late 90s and I loved it never came across that game until this or something similar which I really like this game good job devs
Could be great
Sadly, my Razer Kishi that has worked as an Xbox controller for any other game that supports controllers, has a wildly different button layout. I see the layout for Xbox controllers and it just isn’t mapped the same. So, the game is nearly unplayable since some controls like brakes, and boost, are unavailable. I was having fun still until I finally got to the point that having full control is mandatory to progress. So, it gets two stars.
Hang Problem
I am regular player of this game. I face a problem while playing that game gets stopped and once it stops player needs to reopen game after closing. Pleass fix this problem in next update. I played in many phones. Its not about my phone problem it’s because of application problem.

My favorite game on switch now even more mobile! The only true road rash style game that satisfies that itch, bar none! Control-wise you can't beat a physical joypad, but they applied great quality of life improvements for touch screen play. Well done developer!!

make a good soundtrack, for example add a group like W.A.S.P, Black Sabbath, Pentagram etc. add online mode add the option to create a character and modify the motorcycle add locations of busy cities, with passers-by get rid of those rooftop races, they look stupid

Very bad controls with game controllers
I loved this game on my playstation and decided to play it on my phone. I bought a controller only to play it. I expected the controls to be similar to the PS but it is hell. The actions must be done using the arrows so i have to move my fingers from the steering stick. The accelerator is O button instead of R2 but I can remap it. There is no way to remap the arrows key. Not sure how they decided to use these controls

I’m old and have fond memories of playing Road Rash. I play Road Redemption on PC and it’s an amazing game, but this iOS port has terrible FPS that no one should put up with. Please fix.
No sound
I tried reporting a problem but get page cannot be found. On ios17 and new to this game. I want to buy it because the gameplay is great, but I’m getting no sound.

I recall this game not being cheap for a mobile game and it’s now completely free? For those of use who did pay for it, does it still include ads? And do we get all of the in-app purchases? Hoping the developer can respond.

Control mapping is horrible. Doesn’t match the controller settings. This was a deal breaker as I was going to purchase this game for $4.99

The controls are a bit rough.
I was very excited for this game. I’ve played it on both PS4 and Switch and I love it! It is easily one of my go to games to blow off steam. Playing normal I can easily beat the game on console, but here I struggle to even make it to the first boss. The game does run at a pretty amazing 60 frames almost always, very impressive. I also love that a decent portion of the game is free so you can try it out without risk. First and most important, it is an auto accelerator. I didn’t realize how much of my game play is based on letting off the accelerator and coasting to regain control. Not here, you are petal to the metal or braking. You can hold down on the d-pad to slow down, but then you can’t turn if you’re holding back. This causes me to go off road more than I’d like to admit and then have to struggle to get back. I also felt like catching up to people was way harder. They rubberband to you easy, but even making up a couple of feet on them can be a struggle. Especially with cars in the elimination races. I also saw one bug where some of the shortcuts cause you bike to slowly slide sideways until you veer off road and crash. Overall it’s a great start that is a bit tough to adjust to. But that’s expected with a mobile app.
Great road rash type of thrill ride
Man idk what is up with all these comments but ppl are tripping. This game is great and a lot like a modern road rash. It can get just as chaotic. It’s nice that it has different kinds of missions and task and a skill tree. It randomizes each okay through for different turns and enemies. Weapons are wild neat and can be brutal. The 30 frames per second is no longer an issue when you go to the options and switch to 60 frames. The controls on staying on the road are no longer an issue when you go to options and turn on road assist. I had zero issues going off the road unless it was MY own fault. I also noticed it has game pad support but haven’t tested that just yet. Great game that’s worth your time and money.
Just terrible
This looks and plays like a bad Unity asset flip game. It looks just awful and feels like it is sub 30 fps (on an iPad Pro no less). The combat is very simplistic and nothing I’ve done in the game has been fun. It also tracks A LOT of information. It’s a shame as I was a huge fan of the original Road Rash on the Genesis back in the day.
