This was my childhood right try this game out
Great but unbalanced in to many aspects
I have played the game for some 8 hours, melee is overpowered and moral makes no sense half of the time, I could have killed all enemy officers and the enemy still has 60 moral but the moment any of my officers get to half hp I have 0 moral and all my troop’s route, snipers are annoying in ai hands as the moment your general peeks from cover 3 squads of marksmen head tap him and your dead. Decent game, get upwards of 6 ads every ten minutes of actual gameplay and enemy ai can have troops half of your troops level but still cause squad wipe, you could have 3 lvl70+ officers and one gets on tapped by a cannon through a building and you insta lose. I love the game, but it is far to flawed for me to spend any actual money in, melee officers are almost unkillable until they get one tapped by a rifleman somehow and they can wipe an entire enemy squad, but the moment the ai has sharpshooters expect agony for the next 15 mins it takes you to wipe that squadron. Good game, great concept, decent devs, 70% ads, unbalanced up the wazoo and long range units can casually break the game whilst melee units are somehow gods but have insanely inconsistent damage taken and dealt. Anti armor platoons aren’t even a threat to armor unless the entire enemy platoon is targeting one dude, enemy officers in the campaign are kinda annoyingly strong for their lvl EX: lvl 71 melee officer vs lvl 11 rifleman, who wins? The lvl 11 rifleman who somehow pens 55 armor and dealt 1750+ damage in one shot. Would give half a star if an option.

i lose when my enemy is 1 officer, i have my full army, no morale both ways, but i lose the battle. right… because im losing, right? full army va no army, makes sense.
Amazing game
Awesome game, absolutely love it, but I can’t even start the game sometimes because I have to watch an ad every time but occasionally the ad glitches and I can’t play.

Pretty fun
It’s got: a story, decent gameplay, and interesting mechanics, and that really the most you could ask out of a mobile game, especially in more recent years.
If you like micro transactions I guess
They will not stop spamming you with offers, and other stupid things, then have the audacity to ad advertisements to their lootbox simulator. How greedy and pathetic are you?
A great game
Overall, I enjoy this game. It’s well executed. I enjoy the leveling up of characters and units. I think the combat is fun My main problem I have is how long the tutorial lasts. I’ve not found a way to opt out, but it continues for days and days. Even after playing for a while I have constant pop-up messages on how to play the game when I already know how.

Enemy forces are greatly empowered, even at same level, they are stronger than players’
Good but…
Love the game but….the combat system is lowkey trash. You go into a battle, you destroy every enemy unit except one officer which somehow gives the enemy 9% morale which in turn causes me to lose because I got hit ONE TIME which caused my team to go to 0% morale and when that happens you lose 35% more troops. Oh and if you go through and completely wreck the other side with no losses on your own side you somehow still wind up with 0% morale for the battle.

It is a good game but has some bugs I’ve been playing noblemen for 3 years so far and nothing but today I hoped on and it restarted me back at level global rank 1 it restarted my whole game and I lost all of my progress I wish I could get it back I’m actually thinking of deleting it because I was playing it 1 minute then I swiped off and when I clicked back on it says something about time is not wasted
A high quality game, just needs tweaking
First off, it is abundantly clear that the developers have put a significant amount of time, care and energy into creating this game. It is a head and shoulders above a huge amount of other mobile games available on the App Store. This is in no way intended to be a mindless attack of ‘noblemen’. My primary issue, however, is with just how much information the game deems it necessary to drop on the player very early on. When first starting the game, pressing any button or entering any menu will prompt a pop-up detailing every single facet of the game mechanic, point system or in-game purchase which the player happens to have stumbled upon. This creates an almost maddening experience where not only is the player having to remember lots of very specific bits of information, but they are completely losing the opportunity to explore the game at their own pace and get to grips with the mechanics through trial and error. Though I understand that tutorials are almost always needed, especially with slightly more complex games such as this one, in order for the game to be properly enjoyed. I believe there should still be space for the player to use intuition and piece together ‘how things work’. In my personal experience, after I had finally gotten to a point where there were no longer text-boxes getting in the way at every turn, I realised I did not have a practical understanding of how best to go about playing. Rather I had spent the last 20 minutes wading through endless pieces of information, being spoon fed exactly what to do with armour, tech points, cards of various kinds, units, strategy actions, officers, weapons and doing my best to remember it all, without actually absorbing what it all was really doing. My advice to the developers would therefore be to cut back on the amount of information and mechanics available early on. Streamline the experience so that each element is introduced more incrementally, allowing players to figure them out on their own. Maybe add optional help boxes to explain mechanics without having an explanation forced in the player’s face and then never being accessible again. I think this would allow for a far more rewarding (and less frustrating) experience. As an additional critique, I think the combat mechanics are very clunky, and lack a clear logic in how damage works. I know that this is a mobile game, but one only need to look at games such as COD:mobile (I know, I know) to see that it is possible for mobile games to have smooth and satisfying combat and movement, as well as intuitive damage systems.
One of, if not the most fleshed-out mobile game, I’ve played.
Every part of this game is very in-depth. While needing AP ammo into the mid-game is imperative, getting 15 gold every 8 hours balances it, bringing a pay-to-win to careful resource rationing.

This is an honest negative review protected under US federal law Consumer Review Fairness Act. This developer is taking part in removing honest negative reviews and shall be reported to the FCC along with the store. This developer wants to deceive consumers with its illegal business practices. Compare this game against any shooter going all the way back to any shooter and it just isn’t any good. In fact it’s awful. Seriously who wastes their time with this? It’s awful. Everything about it. Aiming, controls, gameplay, ect it’s all awful and isn’t worth a moment of my time. Mobile games are such a joke.
IT’S A GREAT GAME
It’s a really good thought out game but what would take this game to the next level is a sandbox mode or something along those lines.

Great, but in desperate need of improvement.
I love the strategy element of the campaign in particular, and honestly that’s all I play for. Most of the maps are cool, not so much the forest (which is not something I would normally say…). The combat system is weird, especially the melee… There seems to be no logic to it. Perhaps the worst elements are the complete lack of effort put into the story and general progression. It starts off strong, you get a diary entry every few campaign levels, which tend to introduce new units and explains their origins. The trouble is, you face them, but don’t unlock them. They’re offered in the store as “early unlocks”, for gold, yet, somehow, I’m on level 84/87, and haven’t seen any of them? Unless completing level 87 unlocks all units, that’s not an early unlock, that’s just a premium unit…

Used to be brilliant but now it’s a bit bad...
I used to play this game a lot and it was wonderful but now I can’t even play it... every time I join I get an instant ad and since I left it for a long time (to free up a bit of space) I can’t even play it because every time I join an ad pops up and then I wait for it to go then I get into the tutorial (because I left for a while and that’s how these games work) and every time I get to the part when I have to kill the militia it automatically kicks me out to my main screen after I kill like 2 soldiers and that’s only as far as I can get

A great game, but..
It was a huge hit for me and I played for years. Amazing gameplay for mobile, and genuinely fun to go from a small skirmish and work my way up to a real battlefield. My biggest complaint is that after getting a newer iPhone, I was not able to restore any purchases or my save. I lost so much progress that I don’t feel good playing anymore.

Too unforgiving
Good combat, but as soon as I go into battle mode from commanding my troops around, I get targeted and immediately die. This ends the battle for some ridiculous reason. This is the only reason I lose battles. My troops don’t even get a chance to fight on, I just lose. Intended feature or not, this is busted and should be changed...

Improvement Ideas!
I would like more in depth terrain. Have hills cliffs, more rivers with bridges, creeks/swamps that slow troops movement, and valleys. It would make for greater strategy gameplay. (opportunities for ambushes, high ground advantages, cutting off an enemy’s escape route, ect….) when I sight in I can’t see my crosshairs because of my characters body being in the way. I would recommend making it go first person when you sight in to correct this problem. My last improvement would be letting your character look farther up and down. I was shooting at someone, and it wouldn’t let me aim down enough to hit them.

REMEMBER THAT THIS IS MY OPINION I do not like this game, so let’s start with the basics 1. Idea This game is a really good idea, a alternative history civil war experience, but the way the pulled this off? Not so good. I like the strategy bit, that’s a super good idea! Also the ammo thing is good! (You can get different ammo and they have different uses etc...) 2. Downfall The controls are clunky and bad, the way you fire is not good either, too hard in close range. Also the enemy AI is really appalling, I stood right next to them and they kept firing at guys miles away? To be fair once you start shooting or go melee mode then they will fire back. Over all 2/5, Could have been a great game 😕

Saving problem
Very good game... However the game isn't saving progress and tends to back track every time it is closed and reopened again. Annoying as unlocked units may become locked again and might not be unlocked again till you get lucky. Otherwise very good game.

Amazing game, but some improvements could be made
I have been playing this game for years, across many phones and accounts, and it’s amazing, however, there could be many improvements with the ai, like I hate how you could spend half the battle flanking the Gatling gun only to have him immediately notice you and tear you to shreds, also, I think you should be able to make a custom battalion like infintry with a support of vehicles or artillery with vehicle support and it would be rated to see how much it would cost, there should also be a quarry, there’s a bunker and a fort, but only a mine.

I used to love this game and it is brilliant and was really exited when the new update came out a couple of days ago but the age as changed from 12 to 17 so now I can’t play it as I have age restrictions on my device. This has really annoyed me as I love this game and now I can’t play so can you act least tell me why you changed the age rating or even better change it back to maybe just 14 or 15. Thank you
