Pay wall too high
Clearly needs to make money. But the curve is trash. They wall you so early that you can’t enjoy the game. Dmg and def curve is way too off. Nothing like the first 2.
Good not great
Actually 15gb. Gameplay loop is speed run killing everything in 1 hit until u randomly get killed in 1 hit, & repeat. Fun builds until u just need to copy the pros. A bit boring on its own, better to pair with listening to podcasts or other entertainment

Their support website is listed as potentially unsafe and not in English, alsow my title was off by at least a character or two but that's in brackets because I tried to let you know as soon as possible that brackets in the title is for trigger warning so if violence is not for you; Keep out! it's not all fun and toy games when there's a girl you know on screen giggling when she hasn't felt pain, and to succeed that's really all my character had to do; so far???!!!!

Stuck at login screen
I really love this game but suddenly cant seem to get past login screen on my iPad. Tried restarting reinstalling etc… help..

Not near as good as it’s predecessors
The major issue to me is its lack of any kind of balance. Several classes can simply walk through the entire story without almost any effort. Doesn’t seem like the authors tested the game at all for balancing before releasing these heroes. TL2 was the last good game in the series.

It was a very fun game where you could enjoy the process of progressing. Now all the fun has just been taken away from you, now you will need to farm for a month, what you could previously do in a week, I’m leaving the game after 3 years. Torch Rip

Cash grab
If you are paying real money in micro transactions then you should get what you want. Without any gacha BS for a -chance- at something. So the paywall is at Temple of Ascension where the boss fight is a few levels lower than I was and he keeps one shotting me and killing me as soon as I enter on the second phase.

New players shouldn’t bother (unless they are whales)
In theory, you can grind as f2p or even a player who buys the battle pass and spends money each season on packs as well - but in reality … only players with level 6 (max) pact spirits from the gacha system will actually succeed at Deep Space, and thats the only place anything really drops now. SEVERELY balanced against new players, or players who want to build multiple characters. New players should find something else to do (i’ve played since beta)
Mob ratings
I don’t understand how this game gets such a bad rep. Sure there is is some microtransactions but you still need to play the game a lot to even make use of the p2w aspect. There is so much to do in this game and I come back every season and level through maps. If you are really an arpg enjoyer this is one of the very best you can get on the phone. The level of build customization is deep and the gear system is even more substantial. Props to making such an enjoyable iOS game while most other devs clearly do pay to win garbage with zero substance
Large slow download
Would love to play but it barely gives 1mb/s download speeds for an over 3gb download. Never had this problem as I have fiber. Crazy work.
Light at the end of the rpg tunnel
Final Fantasy, diablo: immortal and now Torchlight: infinity. All three sit in my top five yet, torchlight, has won me over. I’ve my share of WoW, final fantasy online and more but the skill tree is quite fun and so are the boss fights. Challenge isn’t lacking!
Meh
Be prepared to grind for FE crafting equipment got expensive, losing interest in this game. Grind grind for few upgrades then equipment fails upgrading is very frustrating and off to grind again for very low drop rates FE. Raiding requires resources and time, gold is required but more grinding. Game is great but grinding takes out fun repetitive gameplay.

(it was) So close to perfect. It was a 4.5 but otherwise for a free game that (previously did not have) any iap paywalls, this (did) blow away any other action rpg. (edits, June 2025). The game has turned into a complete money grab. Each season just seeks to introduce new mechanics that need new pets ($). The following season, anything that remotely was fun or profitable gets nerfed so you have to buy the new items in order to play at the same level.

Just wanted to say great job overall 10/10. Game runs smooth and physics are awesome. Gameplay is crisp like console. I just started am low level but will see. Enjoying it all could be great for a second one would love to see some modifications and improvements if there was a second. Game has potential to be a Diablo like or major game with some changes. Still awesome.
No direction or explanation
Was enjoying the game, starting to reach what I think was the “end game” until apparently I selected a skill to make all my other skills not work. No real idea of what or why it happened, shouldn’t have to read to be able to understand the game for new people and this game has no insight or direction at all. Wouldn’t waste the time

Great game but…
Although the graphics, artwork and mechanics are great, the fact is the game is a little confusing and unbalanced. The lack of good powerful magics is rampant in this game. Also, i have no clue how to beat Keegan. It doesn’t matter how much i try, i dont understand what specifically needs to be upgraded to beat him. The game doesnt help you. It seems like that is the end of the game or something. Idk but i give up trying to beat him.

I really think this game is awesome and has so much content I just really think it’s too easy. I usually find myself one-shorting other creatures and boss fights taking less than a minute. I really enjoy challenges so I’m suggesting a hard mode with creatures that have more health. Thank you:)
