The Soulstones that they have added are a cash purchase item that makes it so if you don't spend a couple hundred dollars, you can't compete. It's already pay to win, but Soulstones are so blatant that it ruins my opinion of the developers.

Too confusing!
The graphics are great. As someone who played BDO on PC, I’m really disappointed with the mobile game. The PC version is very satisfying mainly because of the combat mechanics. The mobile game is entirely auto-pilot. There are far too many options for who knows what. There are so many various upgrade options for your character that it’s impossible to keep track of what you’re doing. Sure, a notification flag shows and you click where directed, but what are you actually doing?! Takes all the fun out of the game. Essentially you’re using your hardware to watch a game play itself with intermittent tapping that appears to have a positive effect. Boring!
Not for an IPad
This game sucks on an IPad. Every time I start a new quest I get “Invalid file detected, Please restart the app”. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, it’s ridiculous.
can't delete accounts
excellent game. i realised that i want a fresh start to re-experience the story, but i can't delete my account. i was talking with others in the valencia server chat and they also can't delete their accounts, the game just doesn't accept your family name.

Terrible tutorials
Graphics are great, but that’s about it. It’s one of those games that has you auto grind continually, to keep your phone in game. It has like a thousand different boxes and menus with tiny font. There is virtually zero tutorial so basically you’re required to spend hours clicking every box and trying to figure out was all these different runes, artifacts, etc mean. I don’t mind the need to figure things out, but this is a little ridiculous. Plus, there’s a thousand little packs to buy with gems, ruins, artifacts, tools etc. So, I have the impression it’s just one of those afk character building games with a million different upgrades to keep you logging in.

In terms of graphics and quality no other game touches BDM. I come back ever so often and it still does not disappoint.

Feels old
Played the pc version years ago, but boy did I forgot how very long ago that was. It looks dated. The game basically gives you level 40 within 15 minutes. Instead of progression, you get assaulted excessive leveling …leading to excessive tutorial screens (which don’t make sense to newcomers). Pretty clear the only target audience is people with a pang of nostalgia or already playing.

Potential to be the best version of black desert
Most of the quality of life features in this game are good. There’s one problem the micro transactions. Specifically the appearance coupons when you create a new character usually you can change your appearance to how your character looks. But if you use a character level coupon such as a lvl 60 coupon that was given to new players. We should be able to edit the looks for free one time at least for a new character and if your gonna put appearance coupon there should just be one free one. If you want players to spend money on your game don’t force them into transactions they don’t want to take part of just to get basic enjoyment from the game appearance should be free that’s literally the whole point of having a role playing game to make your own character. And for outfits some characters have their main outfits locked behind actual paywalls for their main appearance. What even the point of black pearls in this game if they only help you one time occasionally when you might need something. A lot of these crazy transaction issues could really be avoided entirely especially when it comes to looks. There’s not even a value pack like the real game to have a way to change your characters it’s really not good

I can’t get past the player name screen. It won’t let me input a name every time I click in there my keyboard doesn’t pop up. Can you fix this please?

camera((
The game itself is good - it looks nice and feels fun to play. However, the world feels underpopulated (I’m playing on the America server), and there are very few guides or streamer activity. Even searching for the game is inconvenient, as “BDM” usually returns results for “BDO.” The biggest issue for me is the camera movement. Even with camera shake set to minimum, the camera constantly jerks up and down, which causes eye strain and fatigue. This is critical for me and makes the game hard to enjoy. I really hope that with the upcoming graphics rework they will add an option to fully disable this effect and allow the game to be played like a normal, stable game.

Game won’t open after last update. Just going to delete. People aren’t helpful or nice in chat & friends quit ages ago. Too many things to keep track of. Otherwise neat world building for a game

It needs a lot of work. The healing potions are far too weak. Just wanna let you guys know that and the XP scrolls are far too little. Have a level up. It could use more.

Took forever to download the extra graphic etc etc.., than another 10 designing my character.., once I’m finished I go to save said character, but the app won’t let me type a name! The keyboard won’t even appear on my brand new iPhone 17! So I can’t advance past the character design screen! That’s 30 plus mins gone and for what! I didn’t even want this game, I wanted to play Crimson Desert but this game popped up! I’ll wait for cd to go mobile I guess idk
Love it, but here’s an idea:
I love this game. It has almost everything I like in a game. It’s very immersive, but I’d love for it to be a bit more immersive. I’d like the ability for my character(s) to marry another player or even an NPC. I think in-game weddings & marriages would be awesome. I’d even pay money for that. I’d love to see this as some type of optional ‘falling in love’ quest in the future. I’m a hopeless romantic and I think most of us are. If that’s ever implemented, I’ll change my review to a glowing 5 star. ⭐️❤️ BTW, I’ve been playing this game for like 3 years and have only spent $5 for a color palette I wanted. People who say you need to “pay to play” are lying, because this game gives you A LOT to move up in CP.

Whenever i turn on the app it just says “not enough disk space I have tried deleting some of my old apps but it doesn’t work i still put three stars because it is probably a pretty good game but please tell me how to troubleshoot, that is all I will say thank you for reading It started working but now a link to a you tube video pops up and it will not let me get rid of it if I have to watch it tell me because I can’t watch you tube videos so I can delete the app

Beautiful looking game but…
Truly, it is a gorgeous looking game. Graphics and performance are really good. I don’t think it’s for me though just because there’s way too much stuff going on in the screen and the first part of the game is just tapping. I spent the first part of the game talking I didn’t even get to see how the combat was before I deleted it. It looks like a very well polished game. I just don’t think it’s for me.

I love the game. I can play on my phone, MacBook Air and my tablet. However, not being able to use the keyboard is a major bummer. I hope they get that fixed.
Huge update after getting game
376 MB. Ok that’s cool I guess. I have no internet so I’ll use my phone data to spend a hour getting it. Only to find out the update is 17 GB! That’s ridiculous! That will never download on my phone because I’ll run out of data! Why not add 18 GB to the initial download data? Had I known that, I wouldn’t have wasted my time getting it! Thanks for nothing!
Download it worth it
As a player coming from bdo I love the mechanics in bdm more it’s worth playing whether casual or for pvp I love the aspect of it but some of the quests need a redo and some mechanics also need to be added developers need to listen to players on quest issues and mechanics on quest to make items.

The game is not bad it fun and at least do some what better than other mmo game I play though need to lower down the amount that money need to spend in game and increase the drop rate of some item I think this game will be fine

But the updates even if its a small patch its always 3GB or more. Barely any major changes to the game but the updates are always sooooo big
Frustrating
I created a new account and entered a Family Name I really liked. At first, it seemed to be accepted… but when I checked, it hadn’t actually changed. I tried again with a second account and faced the exact same issue. It was so frustrating that I ended up deleting the game. I hope this problem gets fixed, because I really enjoyed the gameplay otherwise Because this experience destroyed my enjoyment of the game, so I give it 1 because I care about the name when playing, and I don't like such mistakes to be because they are small but annoying to me.
Autoplay mmorpg
This game is honestly just okay. The graphics, story, and some of the powers are pretty cool. But there is SO MUCH AUTOPLAY. You could play pretty much the entire game with autoplay, which makes it nowhere near as fun as it could be. Especially since the quests are along the lines of “kill 20 monsters”. My biggest issue is that the size of this app is NOT as stated in the description (I think it says 100 MB). As of August 21, 2022, the patch size, or extra material to download, is 7.75 GB. There are some pretty fun parts, like taking care of your camp and riding a horse. But I only played this game for a few days before getting bored and deleting it.
Fun at first, but gets boring later on…
Don’t get me wrong, the gameplay is great, but the game story is SO garbage! The game is really fun early and mid-gameplay, but late game gets so tedious… Late-gameplay becomes farming simulator, and that’s a mood-killer… I didn’t even bother doing PvP because I just know that there are whales in the game, no doubt about that… Mid to late-game also slowly becomes pay2win, but thank God I never spent over $10 on this greedy wallet trap… Classes are gender-locked, and why the heck is there no frigging option to save customization settings on all classes? Having said that, there’s more female classes than male classes (which automatically lets me know what kind of filthy-minded people at Pearl Abyss are…), and I guess this sucks for the guys out there who see this… Oh, and, all the costume/armour cosmetics in this game are SO UGLY! Also, why the heck is there a limited-time item to be able to dye clothes/weapons? Sheesh, greedy much… That “black spirit” thing is so frigging ugly and annoying! You know how bad it is?! I mean, I don’t want a companion like that in my life! That is so bloody awful, you know! I also hate how there’s no option to turn off auto battle from automatically turning on after entering a World Boss or during/after completing a story/side level… I was having fun when I first played it several months ago, but as of late, I’ve just been AFK farming, doing world bosses, etc… I managed to make it to over 28,000 CP without spending money to get stronger, but now I am burnt out… I refuse to spend money just so I can become “stronger” and so I can advance in the main quests… I made it halfway through East Valencia, and the main quests get so difficult…

The path of glory mode sucks.
Path of glory is pretty necessary for the game and it’s just absolute trash. It’s too hard when you can’t even change your formation to what you need. You have no way to beat the mode that matches your cp cause everything is way too overpowered. I can’t even beat it being 50k cp over the required one and that’s a problem. I should be coasting through it fr.
Would have been better if it was more open world :(
I wish it was open world like the pc game. I wish i could swim and such. Dont get me wrong, its a fantastic game, but it can get boring at times. Wish there was more to explore.
