I really liked the idea of this app, but limiting you to once a day is crazy to me. On a larger app with other features, this makes sense, but this app is JUST for pushups, so limiting it at all is ridiculous to me.

i’m still a minor so i barely care about reviews but this is the app that ive reviewed in a long time. not bad for an app, just make sure that when letting your knees down when stopping the system counts as one pushup, unless that was meant for a knee pushup which means sense, but overall it’s pretty good
Eigentlich gut
Lächerlich ist allerdings um die einmalige Beschränkung in der App aufzuheben, ist keine einmalige Zahlung erforderlich sondern ein Abo, was von mir keinesfalls unterstützt wird. Von daher 2 Sterne Abzug von einer sonst ganz guten App, die künstlich eingeschränkt ist um dauerhaft Geld zu erbetteln
Head tracking breaks in low light
Great idea, unfortunately head tracking breaks pretty badly in relatively low light (lights off in a room during the day). I use this app with my alarm, so this essentially puts me in a position where i can’t turn off the alarm because pushups will not register

Tracking does not work
Tracking almost never works properly for every 10 pushups I do it’ll only count 1 even tho I have excellent form and lights
Camera recognition
I honestly like this app a bunch; it helps me track my daily 50 pushups. The only issue I have with it is that the camera recognition is a little iffy. For example, if you do a set of 10 pushups, you could end up doing 13 due to the recognition being a little strict. All in all, great app. 👍🏽

Great app but why do we only get 1 set per day? I know lots of people that would love this app but only 1 set a day is terrible. I was planning on using this app all day but I can only use it once, they should change that.
Not Free
Came across this on Reddit. It said free, so I downloaded it. After your first workout, they ask you to upgrade and pay. If only I had kept my old push up app. It was completely free.
Opinion
Very good app. I used to use it on my old phone, and after getting my life back on track and returning to sports, I started using it again. Unfortunately, I noticed that now the free version only allows 1 session per day, which is a shame

Needs Tracking Update
Minimal and clean look but not very good at all at tracking reps. Doesn’t consistently track while always looking at your phone, which isn’t always comfortable for a lot of pushups

Great concept horrible tracking
Love the design and concept of this app literally everything other than the actual counting and tracking which is god awful. Most days I will do almost double the reps of what is actually counted and I’m talking chest to floor full range pushups but it still misses. If this worked consistently it would be 5 stars. Maybe have an option for a side view or something because the face tracking is just not consistent.

It won’t track
I’ve tried it a few times and it really doesn’t track how many push ups I’m doing. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong

It’s a creative use of the TrueDepth Camera to count push-ups one thing that does need to be added, however is dark mode icon support
Not worth it
The app missed a buck of my push ups i did 50 and it only registered 22 of them. One second it was counting them then it would just stop for 4 pushup. Love the concept but doesn’t work as well as the app says

This app is awesome, the only thing i wish there was to it was a friendship type of thing. me and my homie use this app together id love to check his progress and see how much improvement he has in between.

The daily workout thing is “mysterious”. You have to wait more than 24 hours to do another workout if you don’t pay a subscription. Btw the subscription price is ridiculous…

Good but…
Nice simple app. Having said that, as a Navy Veteran with a sincere dedication to maintaining proper form and technique during pushups, I have noticed that the app does not consistently count every repetition. While I appreciate the simplicity of the app, it would be beneficial if the pushup counter could accurately track each repetition.
Great app but update is forcing premium
Enjoyed the app but since the update it only lets me do 1 session per day now. Shame as it was really good before but now looking for an alternative.
Overpriced
good concept but it’s so simple, i already have enough subscriptions so I have 0 clue why someone would expect anyone to have a subscription to a face proximity detector app. Seriously just make it like 5$ lifetime.
Simple, minimal, effective
Love this app. Reminds me to get down and get pushing. I would like to see more data: pushups by week, month, total pushups overall, more like that. The widget is great for minimal Home Screen setups as well.

Neat idea
This app works as expected. Simple design that “just makes sense”. Use of the true-depth camera seems to work well (pretty cool idea). Would like to see an option added to set daily reminders to complete workout.
Push-up Counter and Streak
Really do like the idea of the app, but the push-up counter itself on the app sometimes doesn’t count half the pushups even with light mode on. On top of that, you have to look straight into your camera and that isn’t exactly ideal with being flash banged by the light mode while trying to concentrate on pushups. The streaks aren’t ideal either imo, but that’s just my opinion as i count my random pushups at like 3 am apart of my daily pushups for that day, which i know the app does not and it’s not exactly its fault that i do that, but the app did say that i reached my daily workout limit when i didn’t do a single workout that day and wouldn’t let me start a workout, so i waited 10 minutes or so, (tried to do a workout at 11:50 pm). After the 10 minutes i go to start a workout at 12:02 am only to see i lost my streak, (just experienced this), which hasn’t been the first time that something stupid like this has happened for me to lose my streak. I’m sure most people are usually motivated to do their daily tasks such as these by having a streak and not wanting to lose it, so when this usually happens it’s really demotivating. Otherwise app is fine. Sorry for the bad english, it’s late at night while i’m writing this along with the fact i’m sick so i can’t exactly write the best review but losing my streak just now was extremely irritating.
