Great food
If you like grilled chicken cooked to order Nando’s is the place to go and the red mashed potatoes and corn on the cob is to die for. One of my favorite spots.
No sign up reward
There is a reward of free garlic bread advertised when you download the app and sign up. I did not receive the free reward and I sent an email to the support team with no response. The interface of the app is not intuitive and there is no way to remove a drink from an order without removing the whole meal.

Points expired too quickly
The app is ok, but the way the points work, not good. I have other brand points, as long as, I’m actively within one year, not point get expired. You may think making the points expire sooner would keep customers coming, nope, it’s actually discouraging to keep going.
Contacting Nando’s
Tried to contact Nando’s through their app and it only showed US locations and did not have the ability to select Canadian locations to submit issues with order. Very short-sighted programming, maybe they don’t care about locations outside of the United States or their customer experience.

Shows splash screen saying it’s loading preferences but just gets stuck there so never get into the app. Tried reinstalling the app and it’s gets stuck in the same spot.

Reward point expiry
It seems the app is missing a critical component of letting the user know when and how many points expire within the 6 month mark. I have other apps with rewards and it tells me exactly when and how many points are expiring, making it easier to manage. Also, why are points expiring in 6 months? Not enough time to collect points for a decent reward unless you eat there at least once a month.
Dislike notifications
The app is fine I suppose. I have it so I can order food and be notified when it’s ready. My problem is that if I turn on these kinds of notifications, then I get other spam from the app with deals, offers, etc. No thanks. Ideally there would be separate settings for deal and offer notifications vs when your food is ready. Please improve your app, you food is wonderful.

Rewards program nearly unusable
Rewards program was ruined by structural changes, on top of that every time I tried to redeem a reward in the app I was double charged. At the restaurant it would only let me redeem one item as the QR code wouldn’t reset after being scanned. Poorly designed with worse execution
Error validating your order
I can’t order anything cuz it shows me an error.
A good app but..
Payment does not seem to work. Got to the end of an order only for it to not take any credit card that was entered, even though it should have worked. It does say “zip code” but seems to accept a Canadian postal code so I’m not sure what the issue is.
Love It!
The food is absolutely delicious! Love the wings and chips! Peri ranch is a delicious dipping sauce!
Can’t order ahead
App leaves me with an endless circle when I try to order ahead, and never gets to the order screen.
Don’t use for delivery
There is no way to report an issue with the meal if you order using delivery. You have to call the store to fix any issue and, in my experience, the blame the 3rd party drivers. If you’re picking up an order double check your order before taking it.
App is good could be rock star.
I have experienced most canadian ff apps to have many shortcomings. As a dual. And being able to do side by side comparisons. The only shortcoming is you have to decide when scanning the app. Claim and or redeem points. But not both at the same time. Aside from this small detail? The app ROCKS!

Apps can be better if there is an option to tell how cooked you want your chicken to be. The quarter legs is always bloody when I pick it up.

Wanted for two years but it is all worth it
The worst app
A multi-million-dollar company with an absolutely garbage app. Sat on the “Hold Tight” screen for 20 minutes. Checked for updates—none. Logged out and back in—still the same. After wasting 20 minutes, I gave up and placed an order elsewhere in under a minute. Shameful. Fix your app.
Items don’t add to cart
It’s hard to order my food when I can add items to my cart. This app is useless.

Million dollars company doesn’t give a sh”t to check of the app whether it is working or not.
Works but missing an important feature
Why is there no option to dine in? I ordered through the app and in the special instructions added that the order is for dine in, not take out. When I went to the store, I was told that the app is only for take out, not dine in and just this once they would let me dine in but in future, the app orders are only for take out. Why is that? Doesn’t make any sense. All other restaurant apps have the option to dine in or take out.
