Sie kriegen einen Preis für die schlechteste on line Info Seite des Jahres . Alles voll mit ihren Sachen dabei will man als Kunde nur wissen wie man von a nach b kommt . Und das ist mühsam on line zu finden .
rheinbahnfan
ich bin ein großer rheinbahnfan, gleichwohl finde ich vieles sehr berbesserungswürdig: kommunikation bei ausfällen und verspätungen findet selten statt; die fahrer der bahnen scheinen da nicht geschult und die angaben in der app sind überhaupt nicht zeitnah, teils auch falsch. mails an den kundenservice werden teils gar nicht beantwortet, teils unbefriedigend (wie die nachfrage, weshalb die sommer-klimatisierung der neuen bahnen gleich so extrem kalt sein muss). ausfälle sind teilweise sehr extrem, da vermute ich eher fehlende finanzielle mittel und ein mangel in der politik, für den die rheinbahn nichts kann.
6th time - negative
After three after three or four times entering my preferred Visa card, it continues to say error. Was able to get American Express to work so I called Visa. Vida said the issue was not on our end, rather on the website. Not sure how this will play out, but I tried three more times, thinking that it would take my preferred Visa. Never did. Little frustrating to say the least.
Warum dauerhafte Standortfreigabe?
Ich verstehe nicht, warum die App eine dauerhafte Standortfreigabe verlangt. Für Fahrplanauskünfte und Ticketkäufe sollte die Standortnutzung während der aktiven Verwendung der App ausreichen. Bitte erläutern Sie den Zweck der dauerhaften Standorterfassung oder bieten Sie eine weniger eingreifende Alternative an.

“No Active Payment Method”
Absolutely does not save any information and leaves you having to constantly retype in your credentials over and over again. If insanity means “doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results” than this app is the definition of insanity.
App ist gut, aber ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge habe ich (auch nicht nur App bezogen)
1. Am Einfachsten, vor allem für Touristen und ältere Passagiere, wäre es wenn man wie in anderen Ländern per apple pay oder Kreditkarte beim Einstieg/Ausstieg an einem Kartenlesegerät bezahlen könnte. Die Ticketautomaten sind zu kompliziert und die Touristen laden sich in der Regel nicht die App herunter (kennt keiner, kein englisch?) 2. Könnte man Redy, Flexy und die Rheinbahn App ja zusammenführen als One Stop Shop für alles was Logistik in Ddorf anbelangt. 3. Die Bahn Anzeigetafel/App stimmt mit der tatsächlichen Ankunftszeit nicht überein (Bspw. 707 an der Tannenstrasse ist i.d.R. falsch +-5mins.). Man könnte in der App per GPS auf der Karte anzeigen wo die angezeigte Bahn aktuell ist, um so die Ankunftszeit selber einzuschätzen, wenn die Genauigkeit nicht verbessert werden kann.

Langsam, umständlich, veraltet
Die App genehmigt sich zwei Sekunden Pause nach jedem Klick. Apple Pay? Nie gehört. Passworte mit Sonderzeichen, als wäre es 1996. Nee, das ist nicht der Stand der Technik oder Kundenzufriedenheit.
Gute App
Ich hatte noch nie Probleme. Standortbestimmung steht auf "immer "wenn man die App nach der Benutzung schließt bleibt der Akku Verbrauch niedrig. Lässt man die App geöffnet verbraucht sie viel Akku.

The Check-in option does not work
I cannot check in on any station. My balance is fine, I am logged in, I even reinstalled the app. Nothing helps

I found this app nice and easy to use. I think that some of the negative reviews affecting the overall star rating were actually written quite some years ago and relate to earlier glitches. It has an English version. Above all, it allowed me to buy a one month subscription for the Deutschland ticket allowing travel on regional transport throughout the whole of Germany. Just remember to cancel the subscription if you are going home after a short holiday!
Unusable.
Instead of just letting you buy tickets, it keeps asking for more and more and more and more and more information. It freezes constantly, and even after you’ve entered ALL that information, it randomly deletes it and makes you start over. Terrible.

Die App verlangt seit kurzem, dass die Standortmitteilung „Immer“ gewählt sein muss 24/7. ziemlich daneben für die Rheinbahn. Sonst coole und praktische App.
Tracking
Hallo, ich nutze die Rheinbahn App regelmässig und bin sehr zufrieden. Seit ein paar Tagen erfordert die App beim Ticketkauf das der Standort immer geteilt wird. Das möchte ich nicht. Vorher reichte es den Standort einmalig oder bei Verwendung der App zu teilen. Das ist für mich ok. Können sie bitte dazu Stellung beziehen?

Datenkrake Rheinbahn
Seit dem letzten Update verlangt die App für Eazy Tickets permanenten Zugriff auf Ortungsdienste, anstatt wie bisher nur beim Verwenden. Es hat jahrelang so funktioniert, es ist unverschämt und absolut fragwürdig wofür plötzlich permanent der Standort geteilt werden muss.
Besser als VRR und DB App
Ich nutze sehr oft Apps für meine diversen Fahrten im ÖPNV. Die RHEINBAHN App ist die stabilste und meiner Meinung nach auch die übersichtlichste. Störungsmeldungen könnten verbessert werden
No Persistent Login, no Keychain, no Face ID
This app a) doesn’t keep me logged in; b) doesn’t keep my log-in credentials in the keychain; and c) doesn’t allow for Face ID log-in. Thus, every time I’m asked to show my (Deutschland) ticket, I have to fumble for my email address and password, type everything in, and keep everyone waiting. This app is the opposite of convenient. I regret switching from smart card to mobile.

Absolute Rubbish
The app is not intuitive. When paying for a ticket in the app, I get a white screen that doesn’t go away. This is just rubbish. If you have an app, make it work. It’s not like app technology is new. But this is Europe and typically tech sucks in this part of the world.
App won’t load
App will not load. Only states an error with my push notifications and then loops back to the error message. This is the only way to access tickets so I can’t use public transit now. This is incredibly disappointing.
Erstmal gut, dass man Kritik äußern kann
Ausgefallene Bahnen werden zu spät angezeigt. Es gibt kaum Ansprechpartner, wenn was nicht läuft. Meistens ist es das Zusammenspiel zwischen Bahnablauf und App Informationen. Und die passen nicht mit den Anzeigen übereinander gerade wenn es um die Anschlüsse geht. Das läuft in anderen Städten besser.

Jedes Mal wenn man gerade in den App kommt und die Adresse eingeben will, wird man wieder auf den Startseite zurückgesetzt, ohne was zu drücken. Das Problem ist dabei, dass der Tastatur aber sich nicht schließt, weshalb man nicht zurück auf den Seite wo man nach Strecken sucht gehen. Mann muss dann das App immer wieder neu starten. Ebenso zeigt das App falsche Ankunftszeiten an, und reagiert viel zu langsam. Wenn es Verspätungen sind, ist es ja kein Problem, man kann es verstehen, aber wieso fährt der Bahn früher los, als es sollte? Ich hoffe das App kann neue funktionieren einbringen, dass man auf Strecken Bewertungen geben kann, damit der Rheinbahn auch darauf reagieren kann. Es darf doch nicht wahrsein, dass eure Mitarbeiter so fährt, wie es will, und nicht nach Plan.

App unbrauchbar
Obwohl ich mich ordnungsgemaess registriert habe, erlaubt es mir die App nicht, mich anzumelden. Beim Druecken der roten Anmeldetaste passiert nichts. Ich wollte das Password zuruecksetzen aber auch das funktioniert nicht. Echt peinlich, dass es die Rheinbahn im Jahr 2022 nicht schafft eine funktionsfaehige App an den Start zu bringen. Also, zurueck zum guten alten Tickstautomaten, was scheinbar eher der Rheinbahnkultur entspricht.
