What people like
- Excellent raw data for betting analysis
- Solid metrics help win fantasy leagues
- Great in-depth articles and player grades
What they complain about
- Can't log in with Google accounts
- Missing key features available on the website
- Buggy and crashes frequently
- Poor user interface and navigation design
The Draft Simulator is addictive
A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Application!
Don’t waste your money
The draft assistant failed to connect on all my leagues. It’s a waste of money. Oversold product.
Great info
I love the insight and the metrics available. Wish it had more team management options like trade analytics waiver and free agent tools built into app. However the browser version does have a new waiver tool and much more information. Would be nice just to have it all on the mobile app for ease of use. The SOS data has helped me pull out a win in past years so combining with your favorite team management app does well. I just wish it was all in pff cause their data is extremely solid. Purchase a membership and see how much easier decisions are.
Unders
Why does it only show Unders ? Even against really good match up the app recommends taking the under vs the over in the betting tab of the app. There’s literally zero over props in the receiving filter even if it’s a great match up for the player. Seems broken.
Meh
Good app but Makes zero sense that U can’t access NFL or College rosters/Lineups from the app
PFF
I absolutely love PFF…thanks for the content. My favorite place to study the numbers for football.
Cookie options suck
Every time I do the mock draft simulator I have to select options that I don’t want have all 100 marketing cookies activated. Then the the stupid paper clip to click on the cookies stays on the screen. It is most annoying user experience of any app I have paid for.
Great for Player Research but Average for Fantasy.
The amount of data at your disposal is fantastic for player/team research. For Fantasy Football they give you the ability to sync your Leagues, provide Start/Sit, Waiver Wire, and WR/TE matchup advice. My only issue is that while they also provide Weekly Rankings, that is not the same as the Weekly Projections which are only available via the PFF desktop website. If we could get both to appear in the fantasy section that would be great.
New update is bad
Doesn’t let you sort anymore…loads of articles I just don’t care about and have to scroll down…needs to go back to what it was where I could decide what content I wanted.
Please Unlock Full Site In App + DARK MODE
Please let me look up player grades and view in app with dark mode. Black text on white is killing my eyes when I try to view your awesome stats and grades on the default website, especially on phone. Would be great if we could see PFF stats and grades in dark mode (white text on black background) either through app or have that option available for my profile while logged into PFF in browser.
Great football app
Love this app my fantasy team has never been better and I’ve hit more bets this season then I ever have
What is this app trying to do?
What is the purpose of this app? Looks like 5 different people went into individual rooms and smashed what they built together. Bruh, can’t even look at the stats that are on the website. App tries too hard to be everything but ends up chopped. Faaahhh. Deleted.
Just use your browser
Charts don’t format properly, text is not properly aligned, and every page advertises pff+ to you even if you are logged in already. It’s clearly just trying to display the web content in the app and failing horribly. Just use your browser.
Not linking to article
Trying to search for articles or rankings then tapping on the result via search engine sends me to the app. Sweet however, it does not open the actual item I want to read. Super annoying. Pointless app if you can’t open the actual item through the search engine
Has Potential
I love PFF’s approach to analytics in general, but the app, in its current state, does not include a lot of the features available via web browser (i.e. player/team stats, lineup view, etc). You are pretty much limited to the home page, consisting only of articles, betting tab, and fantasy tab. If the above web browser features are made available in the app, it’d be pretty much perfect. As of now, I find myself not using the app much and just going to the website instead.
Amazing Experience!
Love the Fantasy tab and the Betting Tools.
Cookies pop-up
The cookies pop up needs to go away…it asks the same question every single draft simulator
Missing the most important thing
The grades for players should be one of the main things on this app. It’s missing most of the websites features.
Needs Google SSO
Great content on the site, it’s a bummer that I can’t sign in to the app because my subscription is tied to Google
FINALLY
I’ve been begging for years for PFF to get all of their data in one place for betting purposes, and they finally did it. New betting tools are amazing (props are actually hitting this year), but my favorite part is that everything (grades, matchup data, etc.) is consolidated in one hub. 🙌
Start/Sit Optimizer broken
I was excited to try this app but the start sit optimizer appears to be broken. It’s telling me my sleeper lineup is optimized even though I have positions with no players. Doesn’t work any better on the web site. Any suggestions? Otherwise I’m considering requesting a refund.
Update App User Interface
PFF puts out GREAT content but the organization, flow and layout of the app is AWFUL! When scrolling through the feed on the app, it will pull articles from May of 2023 that are not relevant at this moment. You can’t even filter by NFL or NCAA. Just All, Fantasy, Betting and few other categories. Please work with your UX and product team to do a major overhaul of this app.
Can’t login through Google SSO
The only oversight on the app is that I can’t login to my PFF+ account since you can’t login through Google in the app. I still have to use their website to view their paid content. The app itself is great and I love dark mode, I just wish they would organize their content like their home page. It’s a bit difficult to see the recent articles. It’s so close to something I would use daily.
Incredible analysis!
I’ve had this app for a couple years now, and it’s gotten immensely better. It has bad ratings, but the user interface and functionality and data upgrades in the last year easily give it 5 stars. From betting, to fantasy/dynasty, and college ratings, this is an incredible app that I’m stoked to have. It doesn’t get much better than this as far as raw data goes. The articles are amazing too. Very in-depth. Best football app I have for analysis.
Impossible to sign in so useless
Custom rankings?
One gripe, I’d like to be able to log into my account to access fantasy rankings customized to my league settings.
Great
Finally updated to allow you to look up player rankings among other things and not act as a news feed
PFF + Not recognized
Every so often the app just doesn’t recognize that I have PFF +. In my account details it says I am, then when I go to the betting tab, it does not.
Useless App
It wasn’t worth much before. But just updated it & now can’t even access anything. Keep getting internal error. Lol. With all the other apps available out there, this one fails big time. I’m deleting right now.
Terrible App
The app is completely out of touch. Often buggy. Navigation is 10 years behind. Articles listed on their website you’re interested in? Good luck find it here. The worst part is if you’re on mobile you have to use the app as any links clicked in your browser bring you to it.
SCAM
Doesn’t say ANYWHERE on the website that they don’t offer auction formatting for draft prep. I signed up and 3 minutes after when I realized they don’t do that, which is crazy in itself, I cancelled and requested a refund. They said no and sent me the link for thier refund policy. BAD BUSINESS
