What people like
- Great info for fantasy football
- Live sync feature works well
- Easy to use and clear
What they complain about
- Syncing is clunky and confusing
- Prices are too high now
- App freezes during live drafts
Perfect for in-person draft with no internet
This is exactly what I was looking for! The only thing is that it would freeze when it was my pick and I had to click on my name to make the pick. It was a minor inconvenience. But this is great app for the price and I’ll certainly consider using it for my drafts next year!
What happened?
A massive step backwards from what they had built. I have no idea what they were thinking with this. Whoever made these decisions needs fired. Syncing teams is impossible
Draft Grades??
What’s up with the draft grades? Basically everyone gets a D every time. Might check that out developers. Adjusting to the changes. Good app overall. Also miss the commentary from the “experts” on your draft
App has gotten glitchy
I have a lot of issues with the app freezing on me. Would also like to have an option to randomize draft order with each lock, without having to go into setting and manually refreshing. Last, I miss the written analysis we used to get with previous versions of the app post-mock.
Major Improvements!
I am blown away by all the new features on the Draft Dominator app. You all have done an amazing job. Kudos! I am a Football Guy for life!
1 pick, draft ends wtf
I pay for this?
Great app but one draw back
Have been using this app for years. It’s amazing. Coupled with footballguys content and information is a hand up on competition . However, and unfortunately, other websites and apps have surpassed it with the live draft sync feature. In slow drafts using this app is fine, but in live drafts manually inputting picks is very difficult and time consuming. Needs to be corrected
Ok app..but keep options open.
I have used this app for several years at this point. To make things clear, I do like the app….but…issues are mounting year after year to the point where it’s time to consider different apps. This years issue is importing your league setting specifically ESPN. You literally have to download an extension on your pc (chrome only) and log in through the site and sync. If you have any active antivirus or firewalls make sure to disable after install. Otherwise while you think the website is trying to sync with your league you are just sitting there waiting and nothing will ever happen. The app itself is useless to sync ESPN. Previous years issues, app crashing in middle of draft. Syncing with updated player data (injuries, depth chart changes, trades) takes several days at times. Year to year there seems to be a few more bugs. They should spend a little more time on the app quality.
Live Sync is AMAZING!
The Draft Dominator app never really worked for me in the past. The problem was inputting the data from each round. By the fourth or fifth round, I had always made a mistake and usually ended up giving up on it. This went on for several years. This year, the introduction of the new LIVE sync feature has changed everything. This is now probably the best app I’ve ever had. I love it! Great job Football guys!
New design sucks
Go back to old design
Im out
After years of loving this great stand alone app, will not subscribe at that price: At 9% inflation- very disappointed to see. Re offer as App only at 10$, sure
WAY to Expensive!
Title says it all! Was with these guys for many years, but it’s just way too expensive now for a draft app
Best
Best comprehensive fantasy football for knowledge
What a hassle
Finally gave up this. Trying to install a chrome extension that doesn’t exist on iPad Pro and being sent on a never-ending loop was too much. Hire a real coder.
Please give this thing a makeover
I love Football Guys, but the Draft Dominator desperately needs live syncing functionality with every major provider, along with a UI refresh. The UI is unintuitive and visually / cognitively challenging to navigate, especially in the heat of the moment. If the draft moves too quickly, the host platform’s rankings vary significantly in order, or you make one mistake — panic time. Use a terrible host like CBS and it’s doubly frustrating. If you still plan on using this, practice multiple drafts with short pick times to prepare.
New app
I love the new Draft Dominator. Easy to use and understandable.
2026 version
I’ve had the renew for year but This years new version is awful. The previous years were much better and easier to use. I will be canceling do not buy this year.
Worst year yet
The “Grade my team” hasn’t worked in weeks. Now on my iPad it’s saying that it requires me to have the PRO subscription to use the Draft Dominator even though I paid for the ELITE subscription which is a tier above. Also doesn’t support TE premium scoring. Rankings rarely change even after all the changes that are happening in the preseason. My draft gets graded an A+ but it says I only have a 35% chance to make the playoffs. Drafts are already being held and this app is not close to being ready. STAY AWAY!
Slick Upgrade
The new Draft Dominator looks so much better, the mock drafting is great, and the new app is an even better help when actually drafting.
Terrible
Have used for years. Paid every year. Now it has a forced Chrome extension and after jumping through all the hoops on my desktop, it doesn’t even allow you to sync your ESPN league. I literally WANT to pay them and can’t. Super bummed.
Behind the Times
Love FBGs, but the app is falling behind the times. It should not be this difficult to load a draft. I keep getting a popup about upgrading, even though I’m a tier ABOVE the minimum. Previous drafts won’t load - they get hidden behind a grayed out window. Everything is just way too clunky. After 25+ years, may have to use FantasyPros and other tools that are much more modern and smooth.
So many years!
I’ve been subscriber for many years now to both season and DFS. It’s brought me solid winnings in DFS annually which pays for all related activity! Hope to win my home league this year at last!
Bye-Bye
Loved this app, but the new update ruined it. Used to be the best app out there! It’s unusable now.
What Happened??
I’ve used this app for years and never had an issue but this season, it won’t let me use it unless I upgrade to ELITE. I have the PRO plan and it states that the required plan for my league is PRO. I went on the website on my computer and it seemed fine but the app on my phone won’t let me do anything. Not sure what I’m paying for, now. So frustrated!! I gave it two stars instead of one because the first few years of having the app was great.
Game Changer
This will put you in a great position to win your league championship! If you make good roster decisions and stay healthy, you’ll win it all!
Terrible
You lost another customer who bought this app year after year it is totally ridiculous to force a subscription rather then just let people pay for the app that they want
New and improved
Been using this app for a couple years now but the updated version for this year is a great improvement
Second time this app has really let me down
Football Guys have officially lost me as a customer. I hated it when they changed their app from a $5 purchase to a $10/mo subscription a few years ago, but I stomached it to use the custom mock drafts. Except now, despite having the app for the last couple weeks, I suddenly have to link some chrome extension before I’m allowed to use the app at all? The app does not run through Chrome, it’s its own thing so why is this being forced on us? I just wanted to do a mock draft, now I have no access unless I download something I don’t want. Also it apparently wants me to re-sync my leagues. They were synced just fine earlier today, but when I click that I’ve already synced them the app tells me I actually haven’t because I don’t have the chrome extension. Second time this company made a huge, inconvenient change with no warning for users. I didn’t even get to use it for the full month I paid for. Not to mention these mock drafts have players going in wildly different spots than other platforms this year anyway. Why is Rachaad White going in the 11th on Sleeper but the 5th for Football Guys? That and their draft analyzer tool is broken too. Gives you the same percentage chances for playoffs no matter which letter grade you get or how you build your team. Fantasy Footballers just added a mock draft tool to their UDK app and Sleeper has custom mocks for free. No need to give this garbage company any of your money anymore
Great Tool for Fantasy Football
Draft Dominator is a great tool to use prior to and/or during your Fantasy Football draft. Lots of valuable info at your finger tips…. I use it and the FootballGuys web site every year
FFG Change in business plan
FFG draft dominator used to be for $10 if that’s all u wanted. Now FFG is forcing u to buy the Elite package ( with things I never use) for over $80 a year to use the complete draft dominator app for keeper leagues. FFG does a nice job with the football data and information but is getting top dollar for a lot of information that u can obtain elsewhere for free It’s a bit rich for the retired community and is no longer a good value for what they are asking.
