Hm
Paid for it on another computer, cannot use it without continuous re-payment via subscription
Charge for it then extort re-payment via subscription. Considering computing devices are obsolete every 2 years, it's a total rip-off. Vultures profiting off the ban of Strelok Pro.
Please add vortex razor gen 3 4-24
Awesome app, seems similar to strelok that it’s familiar but it’s missing some newer optics. Would be awesome to see the new vortex scope in there!
This shouldn’t be a subscription
Functionally, this seems like a 1-1 clone of Strelok Pro, which I really liked and kept using until I got a new phone. If it was a one-time purchase, I’d gladly pay $10-15 for it, even now that I’ve found out the hard way that paying for something on the App Store doesn’t mean you’ll always be able to download it. The free version does seem to do the math just fine, so I’ll keep the free version and just deal with not having reticle options, but I’ll never support a subscription model for something that’s not a live service.
Good app but missing important reticles in MOA
The app works well but is missing the reticles for the ATHLON HERAS SPR 6-24×56 APLR9 FFP IR MOA & HERAS SPR 6-24x56 APLR7 SFP IR MOA Which are popular for Field Target in the US. The subscription is not worth the cost if your reticle is not available.
Best thing since Strelok
Since Strelok went away a few years I was looking for an alternative. I’ve used Chairgun as a paying customer for a long while now and it is at least as good, if not better than Strelok.
Subscription required
After trial, requires a paid subscription. The app is good but there are free apps available that do the same thing.
Great app but
Great but missing a bunch of reticles/scopes from vortex, leupold, night force, Steiner and a couple others that should have been in the app long before a bunch the Chinese/Amazon optics were included
Too expensive
10$ a year is down right ridiculous, this app is mid at best.
Give me a one time payment option.
It’s great. It’s everything I want in a ballistic app that cant be acquired from the comrades but for effs sake just make it a one time purchase. $20 and I’d be all in. This nickel and dime over time is dumb. I guess that’s what you get when it’s not comrade owned.
Needed a great app.
Chairgun has been an awesome addition to my match shooting. Love the reticle option. Load your data and start shooting. Great job on the app.
THIS IS NOT A FREE APP
this is a great ballistics calculator, but they lure you in with the app being free. After your 1 day trial, it hits you with a subscription wall. You can then pay it or continue with a “limited version”. so far, I have not yet found a single thing it can do with this “limited version”. Very misleading. SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE A CANCER
Main BC app
Solid app for long range! Made 1st round impacts out to 600yds without using any fancy chronometers. Only problem is they don’t have the Vortex Crossfire HD reticle yet! Please add soon!
Description reflects price gouging
Description says price should be less than the price available in the app. The more unfortunate part is neither reflect a one time purchase, monthly or yearly subscription is the only option.

Not a precision tool
I only realized how inaccurate this app is after purchasing a chornograph. I used to adjust velocity in order to get my scope adjustments to correlate. The app will get you in the neighborhood, but that’s about it. Shooting with my 308 at 400 yards. The app is more than 2MOA off which equates to about 8 inches. Please, whatever you do do not trust this app on a long range game shot. It will only wound an animal at best.
Loved the one time purchase
Fantastic app! Have used it for several years now. Paid for the full version a while back and just saw it has been removed from the App Store and replaced with a subscription model. Call me old school if you like but I will not pay a subscription to any kind of program. I chose this over the Applied Ballistics Quantum even. However, once this device needs replaced I will find a new app or just run the math myself. It was good while it lasted! I know this is the predominant business model for computer programs now, but I do not agree with it and will not support it. I do not subscribe to any microsoft services and when they fully disallow local accounts then windows will be gone from my life as well. Probably going to have to give up smart phones sooner than later as well. Just my way of doing things. Best of luck to the company!
THE BEST
Give them your money!! This is the best app ever PERIOD!!! It clears up any confusion of long range shooting and provides thousands of real world data. 😭
Stuck in tutorial
I have used this app on my iPad and iPhone and watch and liked it. I just updated to iOS 26.0.1 and now the app is stuck in tutorial mode and I cannot get out of it. I deleted the app and reinstalled but no good. Help or I’m moving to applied ballistics.
Reticle request
This is an awesome app but I just have one request. Can you add the Bushnell Match Pro ED in MOA? You have it in MIL but if you could add the MOA variant, I would gladly switch to the paid version and change to 5 stars as that’s the scope I use. Thanks!
It’s okay
There is way better apps for way cheaper

Following the trend.
I love supporting non-subscription software. I got to enjoy using this app for a couple of months before they pulled the plug. There’s better software out there if you’re willing to have yet another service take money out of your pocket every month.
Good ballistics calculator. Horizontal correction is backwards.
This app provides a good solution in a clear format. It is fairly intuitive to set up and use. Only downside is that the horizontal correction is reversed. With a left to right wind, you should be holding or dialing to the left, but the app gives a right correction.
Great app. Awful Business Model.
I really really like this app, especially in a post-Strelok iOS ecosystem (thanks US DoS, very cringe) But I absolutely DESPISE when app developers force you to subscribe to their app instead of just buying it outright. I used to own this app after an outright purchase years back, and just recently bought a new phone, and discovered that the paid version I had was no longer available and now I have to subscribe to keep using. Shame. The app itself is great but that was still a lame move on the developers part.
Leupold mark 4hd
Can’t find the Leupold mark 4hd on this app. Can you add it please
New guy
So far so good ! Thanks
Accurate data, but charged me twice this year.
App gives great data if you put accurate data in. But getting charged twice in one year is a deal breaker.
Very good but a bit buggy
Enjoy this app. It’s easy to use and like the amount of information it gives you. There are several bugs, one of which I’ve reported regarding density altitude calculation but otherwise good app.
Hard to set up
A lot of info but hard to set up.. needs more info about how to do
Great app, Used for Military shooting
Gave this app look over, played with it a little while shooting on a military range and was pretty dam accurate (pun intended) a lot of my Marines are now using this app for their shooting needs
Вылетает
Вылетает при запуске и сворачивается. Невозможно использовать, всегда сворачивается
Going good
Took a bit to figure things out but now is great…going to shoot long range this week and will know for sure. Will probably upgrade to 5 stars but just haven’t been able to apply full app yet
App updates slow, no support
Is this app still being updated? Nothing has happened since Apr 2024 and no response from the support email
Excellent app
Very much like strelok. Would be great to have ultimate benchrest targets added
subscription for any functionality
Uhg, a subscription based app. Looked promising, but hard pass
Review
I am satisfied with the app. It has a very similar look to Strelok Pro which I lost when changing phones. I will now move on to the paid version.
Phenomenal
BL. This is my GoTo ballistics app. A++++
Don’t purchase
Payed for this app and will not let me use the features I paid for. What a rip off. 9.99 for elite version and does not update once paid for , tried to email them and no reply, garbage
