It’s 2026 - Did you miss the Memo?
It’s 2026. All hardware and apps should integrate with smartphone Bluetooth systems. I should be able to say the Alexa, Siri or Bixby keywords. It should allow you to read text messages and send with speak to text. This is not an elite feature anymore, it’s a requirement. This app fails to deliver the basics. The equalizer is terrible and should have a custom setting not presets. Come one folks.. come to the future already…

Das Sena 50S ist wirklich überzeugend, was man von der App leider gar nicht sagen kann. Verbindungsaufbau zum Gerät dauert öfter mal ewig, oder scheitert sogar. „Mal eben was einstellen“? Vergiss es! Und nachdem ich für meine Frau auch ein 50S gekauft habe, sucht er auch das automatisch immer mit, auch wenn es gar nicht da ist! Ich habe das 2.Gerät jetzt aus der App gelöscht, damit ich meins im Solobetrieb benutzen kann….
So far so good
Saw some really bad reviews on this product I don't know if it makes a difference or not but I bought two Harley modular helmets with the Sena built in. So far it's seemless connection to phone and intercom via app. Have had no issues so far but these are brand new. Will update review after a couple weeks of use.

Does not work, does not connect, complete POS!!!
5G updating
Sure would like to see the wireless update work with 5 G wifi. Pretty much standard wifi speeds now so o can’t auto update while charging anymore.
Not worth it
Not really sure what the purpose is this app serves. You can’t really do anything on it other than pair the intercom. Can’t access pictures or video. There are no settings to change. Pretty much a worthless app.
Viel Verbesserunspotential!
Wir fahren oft in einer Vierergruppe, dreimal Sena Outrush 2 (alle aktuelle Updates aufgespielt) und ein Sena 50S ( auch aktuelle Firmware). Die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit wurde schon reduziert. Trotzdem werden ungewünschte Geräusche häufig übertragen. Noch störender: die Outrush2 schalten sich bei längerer Fahrt während der Fahrt immer wieder selbst aus. Das nervt, weil nach dem wieder einschalten zB durch kräftige Kopfbewegungen das Mesh wieder manuell eingeschaltet werden muss. Und das, obwohl das automatische aus und einschalten deaktiviert ist. Ansonsten ist die Verständig gut, zwar etwas basslastig. Das kann aber über die Höhenanhebung behoben werden. Der Akku hält einen langen Fahr-Tag - super! Was nicht geht: Einstellung Prioritäten Navi/Telefon/Kommunikation. Alle Änderungen in der App sollten im Helm akustisch bestätigt werden.

I’m on my third Ari helmet due to lack of choice I installed the sena and have not used it but I feoit necessary to express my feelings prior to using the application once again I have never had so many problems connecting to a Bluetooth device still mad about so much money wasted. I will update my experience with experience if anything has changed.
It’s ok
The kit is great, I have the Sena impulse helmet which has great sound and comms but the buttons ain’t the best with winter gloves. The app is ok but If the app could be CarPlay compatible I would be very pleased as I often want to turn on the rear fitted light or see how much battery I have without stopping to take out my phone. Ta

one deal breaker
As someone with a technical background, the app is pretty straightforward to get the hang of. However, adding some descriptions, like for master volume control, would be a great help. There are some settings missing of the 60s feature set for which you have to press the device buttons, but all in all it‘s a good app experience. We all have decided to get the premium Sena 60s in our group, but we’re missing a key feature: the ability to customize our microphone volume. This has been causing some major issues because others can’t hear me clearly, and I can’t hear them either. Some people were too quiet for me to understand, and vice versa. I’ve turned the volume all the way up to try and hear my buddy, only to get startled (& at the end headache) by the loud ones. If everyone could adjust their mic level between about 50 and 200%, we could really use the 60s for what we’ve bought it for—conversations while riding. Right now, I’ve just stopped trying and asking for repetition because it was too hard to understand. Is this on your roadmap / something we can expect in future updates?
GREAT APP
No idea why people are slating this App. Instantly hooked up and worked, includes a full pdf suite of instructions (plus installation). Software updated straightaway.
Will not connect to 33i
I’ve tried everything, including updating the firmware and downloading the latest app version, factory resetting my 33i and uninstalling the app and trying all over again. Nothing works. I just get the “Connection failed” message.

So far so good. If it does the job on my ride, I’ll ⬆️ to 5 * !
No CarPlay option
I wish it worked with CarPlay. I’d love to have access to the features of my 60s on my Carpuride screen. It’s very frustrating to not have control like that.

Ich habe extra das Sena 50c gekauft. Die App für die Camera ist grottenschlecht. Ich verstehe nicht, weshalb man das nicht hier intergriert hat? Das lässt sich doch sicherlich einrichten, oder??
Love it just one flaw
Love the helmet and the app. Just wish the app worked on CarPlay mode to use on my bike display.
Doesn’t work at all.
I’ve had the 10S headset for years. Never bothered with the app. Got rid of my bikes for a while and recently got another. Fired up the headset and figured I’d give the app a try. What a waste of time 😂 The app will not recognize the headset no matter what I try. Re-pair, reboot (both devices), retry… nothing works. I’ve got a little more money to play around with nowadays so I think it’s about time I explore some of the competition and let folks know why I did :)
Lost features (SRL2)
UPDATE (6/26/25) I was able to figure out the sharing music .. pressing buttons , it’s good, but I preferred it when it was in the actual app. Works for now.. thanks !! Previous version had the option to share music while on Bluetooth intercom, perfect for riding with girlfriend as passenger, this feature is no longer available.. will probably have to go another communications route to enjoy this feature.. come on sena
Eminently capable but impossible to use
Why have an APP that you can’t use? Everyone buys the product, downloads the app, sets everything up and nothing after that works as you would expect. Why can’t I listen to say nav whilst chatting to my friends? Why can’t I just connect everyone on a ride out group!!?? It could be so easy…….BUT…. the app is incapable

KANN MICH DIE SYSTEM STIMME MAL NICHT SO ANSCHREIEN AHHHHH KEINE OHREN!!!! Ich höre ehr leiser Musik und jedes Mal, wenn ich das Gerät an oder ausschalte, platzt mir das Trommelfell. Ich würde gerne dieses System Stimme auch separat von der Lautstärke einstellen können. Danke.
Best comm system in the market!
I received S60 as a gift and I absolutely love it!! It connected right away to my iPhone and once I downloaded the app, it opened so much more options to explore and customize! I feel obligated to write a honest review because of so many hates other reviewers wrote. I’m not sure what happened but new updates must have resolved the issues because mine have absolutely no issues at all. Sound system is incredibly and comm system works flawlessly. MUST BUY and recommend to everyone!
Fail: Won’t connect no matter what
Have used the 30k for a while and it pairs to the phone just fine but this app won’t recognize the unit. Getting tired of the complexity of figuring out the bugs on Sena. There’s a reason people are leaving for the competition.

Bluetooth connects to my phone the app does the loading screen after it prompts you how to connect to phone but then stops loading and just continues doing that forever.

Great to Have
It’s nice having a way of interlinking many riders at the same time. I haven’t yet utilized all the amenities of this app, because I just got the helmet and got it programmed, but perhaps more is to come as I meet other riders with the same helmet type 👍🏼
Will not connect
I had high hopes for this app, it’s very disappointing. From what I’ve experienced and what other people have written I’m not the only one who hasn’t been able to connect my device to the app.
As expected
I was scared when I red the comments, but it is actually really simple to connect the sena to your phone, it took me 5 min and i was on the road. Ok yes you need to search on the settings when you want something specific, but i am more than happy that I bought the sena 50s. You’ll see, with a little bit of patience, the app is fine !
The best worst comms S/W
Why can’t they make this simple to use and update? This is 2025 not 2005! There is a huge market for good S/W like this but this particular one falls short. The mesh network ability is not rocket science and that is where this frustrates our group prior to a ride.

Works just like it should. Connected via Bluetooth and WiFi with app and automatically updated firmware. Super easy to pair with IPhone. Works perfectly. No problems. SRL Mesh sounds great.
Nothing ever works!
You can never connect your device with your Sena app. Constant connectivity errors telling you to go back and pair your phone and even after you repaired your phone it still tells you there is a connectivity error. Regardless of the Sena I can never make this app run as it should. Waste of time.
Great sound & connectivity
Not the easiest to set up but once you do the app works well and controls the headset great!
SMH10 not supported.
Unfortunately my SMH10 module is not supported. Pity as the module still works well after perhaps 10 years of use. Still has great battery life and it works as well as it ever did. If it is possible to enable these older modules you would have three happy customers as my wife and buddy also use the same module.

The app will not open at all on my new iPhone with iOS 26. It will open with my old iPhone that has iOS 17. Contact Sena and Apple many times abd it is on Sena's end and they cannot figure it out or help so the app is USELESS!
Slow but worth it because of speed dial
It takes forever to open it up, but because it allows you to add a number to speed dial it is worth it.
Terrible experience
Not at all intuitive. Sena 50s instructions are terrible. Very erratic performance and not consistent at all. Do not have high expectations for this app and be prepared to figure out most of the stuff on your own. For what these units cost, a lot more effort should be put into making the app much more user friendly.

インカムに接続後、アプリを起動しましたが、読み込み中がずっと続き、使用できません。何度か試しましたができませんでした。妻インカムにも同様の症状が出ているため、故障しているわけでは無いと思います。ご対応いただけるとありがたいです。
Neotec2 and SRL2 - Great Product Pairing!
Bought my SRL2 for my Neotec2 helmet back in 2020. Never had a problem with either the helmet or the intercom system. Been wearing Shoei helmets ( advanced instructor) for twenty years and love them. This SRL 2 intercom is brilliant, It connects my iPhone instantly and runs my gps and music perfectly. Plugged the helmet into my laptop a few mins ago, the Sena software instantly told me a firmware update was available. I clicked on ‘update’ and it completed in a couple of minutes with no issues. All in all, I’m very happy with this system it does exactly what it promises, no fuss.
Stopped Working
Use to connect to phone, now it won’t. Very inconsistent performance. Can’t you make a product that actually works?
Worked for me
Not the most flashy app in the world but connected and enabled the settings to be adjusted without any problems on my srl mesh.
Why stop working if permissions are not given?
The app stopped working until you provide very wide permissions to it. Why? Stop it!
