No exit ads!
I love your games, all of them. However, whoever you’ve partnered with on your ad revenue has been planting a TON of no exit button ads. I have to close down the game immediately when this happens. Then your hint order is reset. 6 in a row so far. It makes the experience unenjoyable.

I’ve never played a game with longer and more intrusive ads than FHTW. I even paid the 1.99 to go ad free but it is still playing ads that play way too long. I have to keep closing and restarting the game.

The Ad Nightmare
Scariest thing about games these days are the sheer amount of ads. Detracts from game atmosphere and ability to enjoy the game. I’ve purchased other games by developer but don’t want to pay that much for each one.
Hints don’t work
It’s probably too long since this came out for anyone to care but, I’ve just played the series up until this one and all have worked ok. This one will not let me see hints. I hit the advert button, I get shown an ad then nothing happens except the hint button disappears. I’ve paid to go ad free and don’t mind seeing ads for hints, but they don’t work! What’s going on. Great series of games though, but can never finish without a few hints.

Люблю ваши игры, но в этой части багануло на моменте с варежкой (под кроватью), сама вытащить не могу, а животное 1 раз залезло под кровать и не выкинуло варежку. Больше не хочет залезать. Пройдено больше половины игры, не хочется сначала начинать((
Boring and almost nonsensical puzzles
I loved forgotten hill dissolution, first steps and mementos. I was excited when I saw that wardrobe was out. But this game is honestly boring. There is very little horror, the stories are not engaging, and most infuriating, the puzzles make no sense without looking at a hint which you have to watch an add for. And then the first hint is so obvious that you have to watch another at to get an explanation of how to do the puzzle. It’s almost as if they are purposefully making the puzzles vague so that you pay to unlock hints. Honestly, I would not buy this again. I didn’t even care to finish it because it was so boring.

Реклама везде и на каждом шагу, вылетает даже если ты не спрашиваешь о подсказках. Нет, ну я конечно всё понимаю, но из атмосферы и самой игры это невероятно сильно выбивает. Отдельно стоит упомянуть и о загадках, которые иногда не решить даже если невероятно хорошо думать. Будешь просто ходить по округе и не понимать, что делать. Без видео прохождения вообще не обойтись😔

Just finished the 4th chapter. Like the previous chapters, I enjoy all the puzzles and stories from end to end! The excellence can be explained by how much I regretted to watch the walkthrough to get some hint for a puzzle… I really hope I didn’t open the YouTube and could instead sit for another 30 mins, should be able to figure out on my own! Found a few bugs in chapter 4 though - after finishing the surgery for the 2nd patient (the kid) then close the app (particularly, just right after the brother points the sun), the kid would reappear after I reopened the app. Secondly, after handing the fairy tale book to the kid, the book will then be in the surgery room, which is fine, but if you open the book at the surgery room, there is no way to close the book.

Chalkboard
Amazing and cool game, but my only problem is I couldn't finish because it wasn't registering my symbols on the chalkboard. I even looked up the walkthrough to see if I was drawing the right symbol ,I was, and it still didn't work.
Bleh
Downloaded game. Paid for ad delete and hints. No hints. After 5 minutes, deleted game. Puzzles have nothing to do with story, at least from what I could see.
Fun but Major bug
For some reason my ‘book of bird calls’ stops at the golden bird. I was bewildered on what I was supposed to do and had to look up the solution for the horn raven. I only realized that I didn’t have those pages in the book. Please fix this. It’s impossible to solve otherwise.
Major Story Improvement
This game and Forgotten Hill Tales have an improved handle on environmental storytelling- some of the older games felt a big clunky regarding lore but Wardrobe and Tales seem to be where the franchise found it’s footing.
Freezes!
I notice the only replies from the Developers are to the ones that praise the game,BUT ignored mine to say there are issues with it! Too many adverts,after EVERY single puzzle AND,when they eventually finish, the game continually freezes so I have to close it down and restart. It’s taking forever to get through the first level so I will just delete it. Complete waste of time. EDIT: Thank you for you reply,I love and,played all of your Forgotten Hill series so much so that I persevered with the glitches in this one and,finally got to the end. Looking forward to more games in the not too distant future.Grazie mille e buona giornata.
Paid for hints, but NO HINTS
So I paid the full price of $3.99 for no ads, and hints. But nowhere is there a button for hints! I hadn’t seen an ad yet even before I paid. I love your games, have paid for all of them to support an indie gamer. But when I pay and get nothing in return, then I get mad...

Two stars for showing a little potential at first, but after the first ad popped, there was no way to get back to the game. Uninstalled

Даже взрослому крайне тяжело будет пройти эту игру. Многие загадки очень сложные, даже после подсказки не понятно как их пройти. В части с птицами невозможно понять их язык. Из текста в записке выразить символы невозможно, нет логики во многих загадках. Много рекламы от мошенников: лотереи, ставки на спорт, онлайн-казино, Газпром который раздаёт деньги.
Amazing
I’ve played a majority of their games and I just love them! They’re always so unique and fun filled. Minor freezing after completing puzzles during this one but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the game! Amazing job to the developers!!

I just downloaded this as I loved all the other Forgotten Hill games. But it crashes when u try to open the app. I tried deleting and re-downloading the app but it still crashes and won’t open. Please help.

Quite boring & too many ads
Has others have commented, this seems to be a loss of quality or creativity in this latest release. In fairness the adverts breaks aren’t too long, but the game definitely lacks the spark of earlier games in the series
Ok but….
Wasn’t going to pay to have adds removed. Game was ok. But it was short. About every 4-5 minutes adds would pop up. Very annoying. Took around an hour to play. Good concept but adds ruined it for me.
Great addition to the FH universe
These guys can do no wrong when it comes to story telling. Super creepy stuff in these games. Would love to see it expanded to other mediums. On top of the great stories, the puzzles are challenging and unique. Escape & point/click games always seem to use the same recycled puzzles. I feel like I’ve seen it all. Then I play Forgotten Hill and it has all these new creative puzzle concepts. Hope to see more soon!

I think there’s a bug
The game is very interesting and fun but whenever an ad pops up, the screen only showed 1/4 of the game so I have to exit out every time an ad comes

A really poor edition in an otherwise enjoyable series.
Love the game series but bugs
I’ve run into the bug where the ad plays it shifts back with black space and the game becomes unplayable. I’ve had to close app far too many times. Usually I’m down for paying for the game but not until it’s fixed.
Can’t get enough
I was so excited to see the release of their latest puzzle! But then I binge-puzzled and finished it in 3 days 😭 next time I’ve got to pace myself to make it last longer! As creepy and weird and morbid as these puzzles are, they’re exceptional quality. There is nothing else in the App Store that compares! Already looking forward to the next release!
Gremlins need sorting
I love your previous games but I purchased the ‘no advert’ option for this new one but still getting them and then game freezes completely after each add and I have to reinstall the game. I’ll be deleting until the gremlins are sorted

Awesome horror game!
Update: Two Sister chapter is in my opinion the best! Some of the most fun and challenging logic puzzles I’ve done in a long time. Also the bird sound and spice jar mechanisms are very unique. Love it! Thank you developers, amazing game as always! Love the story and the atmosphere. Minor bug: game freezes after completing certain actions and had to be restarted.
Commercials crash the game
Haven’t gotten far. At all. Every time a commercial plays and the game comes back up, it’s frozen. Have to close out and start again. Real shame. Will have to delete.

fun but buggy
in addition to the bug where the orientation flips after an ad, this game also crashed twice and i had to reset my phone as I wasnt even able to turn it off or exit the game after it crashed. seems like a fun escape game, its a shame that these bugs make it difficult to play

ok sooo, I’ve played your games for a while. Like alll the way back at the beginning of my school year. And tbh it was really comforting. I was going through a rough time at home and at school. And when i was using my school computer my eyes came across your games. I’ve played most of your games! I love them. The nurse one was hard though, it took me forever to beat 😫 BUT, I’ve decided to jump back in for more action! Cant wait for new releases!

I paid for no ads & hints but when I click on the light bulb for a hint, nothing happens. Total scam. UPDATE: Developer, your response doesn’t address my issue with the hints not working. Wish I could give 0 stars since you don’t care enough to thoroughly read reviews.
Glitchy: Keep losing sound
I’ve loved all the Forgotten Hill games up to now but this one is so frustrating. I paid to get rid of ads but still get them and in addition, keep lose sound on the game. I deleted and restored three times. Guess I’ll try again after a few weeks and hope the glitches get fixed.
