Check Calendar - Habit Tracker reviews

What people like
- Interface is super simple and clean to use
- No login or personal info needed to start using it
- Easy to check off days and track habits visually
What they complain about
- Free trial locks all your data after a week
- Developers hide the paywall until you have already used it
- Ads interrupt you constantly if you do not pay
Great!
Simple, easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Paywall scam
App baits you into thinking it’s free. It waits until you’ve used it for x consecutive days then it takes away your access unless you spend money. What a scam.
Secretly paid app
Makes you pay $5 after a week
Not free
The app shows that it is free until a week then it says you have to pay 6 dollars after I already did a lot of stuff with the app
I love the app.
I strictly use it to keep track of my day to day movement. It’s an accountability check. If you look at your month and you’re not happy, then the next month you make sure you visually can see that change. The app does this.
Paid use???
Why is the iPhone app paid? And only gives you a week-long trial, while it's free on Android?
It's a good app, but...
I hope for support for the Arabic language so that it will be easier for me to work with it, and then I can share it with my colleagues so we can use this application. And thanks 🙏
Awesome simple calendar
I love this! It is so simple and straight forward, just what I needed. No ads or cost to use this app, thanks to the generous creators of this app. I LOVE IT
Let people know it costs money so it’s not a headache for you or for us.
I wouldn’t mind the app if it didn’t use the good ole’ “ITS FREE!!”………until next week scam. But it was good while it lasted. I’ll just get Google Calendar.
Not free
I had no idea this was a paid app after a week.
Good app
I’m happy with this app and it tracking and data capabilities
Not free
Why would using a calendar cost money? You can do this for free on your iPhone.
Same as habit calendar
This seems to be very similar to your other app habit tracker ? Any way you can bring similar features from that app to this one or merge them?
Not free
It’s great. All I need is to check off dates. They want you to pay for that after a few days of use. Very disappointed.
Great app
Its a great app , do not require unnecessary login. I like these things 1. We can change the Icons. 2. We can add Short or Long notes. 3. No need to signup or provide personal info to just mark something on calendar. Loved the developers effort and design 👍
Easy to Use
Great app for easily tracking
Have to pay
I liked this app until the one week free trial period ended. A trial period the developer conveniently forgot to mention anywhere in the app or App Store. It’s not expensive, but it’s pretty shady and dishonest to spring this on your users. It’s a textbook bait and switch tactic, and I’d rather not give my money to developers who use unethical methods.
Very handy app, but should have a non-cloud export/back-up
This is a very handy little app to see things at a glance. Its easy to use and convenient. My only complaint is that the description mentions security being top priority and that data is not sent to third parties Yet the backup/restore option uses the privacy-invading 'cloud' (euphemism for someone else's computer). Please add a NON-cloud backup or export option. Thanks.
Must pay for premium
They make you pay of course just another app that annoyingly has you pay for a premium version. Otherwise it’s cool.
Gracias
Está fabuloso esto
Not free
It just starts a trial, you have to pay to check boxes after a week or two…
Pretty good but you have to pay
Well I’m not surprised pretty much everything needs you to pay now but I actually liked it helped me with my routine and helps me feel productive so yea and it’s pretty simple so yea 🩷
Great for building good habits!
I bought this app to track my piano practice and other habits. It’s a nice reinforcement to be able to add a check every day I’m successful at getting something done.
Misleading, don’t bother
Not actually free, requires a purchase/subscription to use after two weeks
New User
BEWARE: When I downloaded this app I did not see anywhere that this was a trial period app only. Unless you purchase a subscription you’re unable to use this app. Looks like it may be ok because you can notate what you want vs being given pre-made items to choose from.
It’s ok
It’s ok but not worth paying for, so I deleted once it started making me pay as it made the app unusable
Best one for my needs!
Simplistic, emojis and checkmarks available, month view, and tabs for each header- PERFECT
Required to pay after 1 week
Works great the first weeK. After the free trial ends, even the basic function of checking off 1 day is behind a paywall
Thank You for Daily Clarity!
Super Simple. Clean Interface. Easy. Game Changer!
In app purchases??
You really have to pay money to check off a virtual box after a week or so, don’t waste your time
Great but could have more!
1. Please add haptic feedback/animations while checking the box to give a sense of achievement of being done a task 2. Add daily notification reminder to check the calendar 3. Give access to all the emojis available in apple keyboard
Work of art, but i don’t have money for it 🤷♂️
It’s a really good app don’t get me wrong, it ACTUALLY helps me keep track of everything. I fell addicted to the little haptic click every time i would click off another day clean. it felt amazing. but it’s a shame i have to get rid of the app now. i was ready to use it every single day, it was even in my hotbar. shame.
(1 STAR RATING) DO NOT INSTALL THIS
Its free for like 4 days and then it doesn’t let you use it again AT ALL. You start putting all this progress on the app and find out its not even a free version is ridiculous. Horrible app.
Holds your data hostage for money
It isn’t clear when you first start using the app that it starts a time based trial in the background, and once the trial is done it completely locks your data youve logged so far and the only way to get it back is to buy the app.
Simple and efficient
Nice and ultra simple app though dark background is annoying and it’d be nice to have a few more settings
