What people like
- Sound quality is absolutely fantastic
- Super easy to use on mobile
- Makes remote recording much simpler
What they complain about
- Support never actually helps
- App crashes right after recording
- Hidden fees trick you into paying more
I love it
Easy to use and faster
Endless crashing when uploading files
I have used the app a handful of times, and my app crashes nonstop as soon as I am done recording. I can’t get anything to upload, but my cohost has no issues on their own phone with their own account. I love the audio and video quality, and the ability to edit each speaker independently from the others, but I have to fight just to get my files at all. I can’t even use the “recover backup” feature because the email I should receive with the backup file just says FAILED anytime I request it. Customer Support has been able to find and share my backup files with me so far, so we tried again. I guess I have to transition to my desktop only now because I can’t get mobile to work at all after it gives me false hope from a successful recording session.
Mobile pod
hands-down, the easiest way I’ve ever seen to create a podcast on mobile
Recordings lost
I used this app to join, as a guest, a time critical multi-person podcast session. I was able to connect easily enough but the host discovered that the recording from my end had not uploaded and there was no backup either. We tried to recover the recording using instructions in the FAQ (closing the app and reopening it) but it did not work after multiple tries. It’s left me embarrassed and has caused a bad hit to my reputation.
Smooth recording
Recommended app for podcasts !
Canceled but still charged annually
The App gave the option of a free trial and after cancellation, I was still charged for the full year! It’s a very misleading process and still haven’t gotten my refund! Stay away from this App…
Remarkable Sound Quality 🎧🔊👏🏼
The Zencastr podcast app is an auditory delight! The sound quality is absolutely fantastic, delivering crystal-clear audio that keeps the audience fully engaged. It's a must-have for any podcast lover who values top-notch sound.
No idea
You can't even try the app out or see how it works without paying a minimum of $20. Waste of my time.
Makes remote podcasting so easy
Love this app. It’s super user friendly and is so much easier than other platforms I’ve tried.
Don't recommend
Incredibly frustrating company that intentionally designed their interface at every single turn to trick you into giving them more money than you originally planned. Wasted so much money on these bums. They only care to extract as much money as possible from you. I hate these people.
The best way to record someone
I’m have been podcasting for a while and my guests never had a phone and it was always a hassle to record them. This app made it sooo much easier to record with people remotely
