Fraud insurance company
They keep asking for the same documents and i keep sending them despite of that they make me waited for 1 year almost and i cancelled my claim my self.
Very poor and misleading experience.
I have paid for Barclays Tech Pack for years and I am not a frequent claimant. The biggest issue is that they are willing to take monthly payments for years without confirming whether the phones you are paying to protect are actually eligible. Then, when you finally make a claim, they examine the purchase history and usage documents and decide the device was never covered in the first place. That is the wrong way around. If a phone is not eligible, this should be established clearly at the start, before customers continue paying for insurance month after month for years believing they are covered. I even contacted them before submitting my documents, explained the different names involved, and was told it should not be a problem. The claim was then rejected because of those same circumstances. Insurance should provide certainty before a claim, not discover exclusions only when the customer needs help. After paying for this cover for years, I have lost confidence in the product and cancelled it. I would not recommend Barclays Tech Pack based on this experience.

I have been a Tech Insurance customer for over 8 years. When I lost my phone, I submitted all the requested documents, including proof that it was mine. They kept asking for more information, and after making me wait for almost two months, they rejected my claim. If they had told me from the beginning that the claim would be refused, I wouldn’t have wasted two months waiting. In the end, I had to buy a new phone myself. Very disappointing experience.

Tried to make 2 claims for devices that were damaged in the same accident. Both time both documents were rejected, not much information was given to explain why, it took days of calling and speaking on live chat to finally get through to someone to tell me what I needed to do, but even then it was hard as I had deleted the old emails and they would not accept screen shots from the retailers

I've been waiting for a month to replace my broken device. No information. I'll have it done next week and I won't pay this insurance because it's pointless and a scam.
