Best Study app for CISSP
I’ve looked at a few apps to help me study, and this isn’t far the best. I love the ‘Qujck Set (10)’ feature - it’s ideal to use spare moments to study effectively.
Cannot be used in China?
The app prompts “ the app is appeared to be offline” when I try to login, all login methods failed and does not work on my friend’s iPhone either. VPN does not help.
Missing concentrations
This app is fantastic if you’re looking for the three advertised certification practice exams. It helped me achieve the CISSP. I do hope that the concentrations will be added in future updates now that ISC2 has removed CISSP as a prerequisite. There’s nothing out there for ISSMP, ISSEP, nor ISSAP.
Looks good, but reliably crashes when trying to subscribe
How do you guys make any money? Your app crashes the moment I touch any subscription based button or function.
Struggling
Struggling to Understand this vast array. Wish it had page numbers to the guide or something
Great learning app
This app, helped me realise my knowledge weaknesses and is helping to remove them. Great app.
Average functionality and way overpriced
Complete rip-off for a simple quiz app that doesn’t let you pause an exam mid-way through. Over €1000 for a year!? Avoid
CISO
Seems effective;
Pause
It's frustrating that the app doesn’t have a simple pause feature to stop a test and come back to finish it later
Lacking due care
Run into several questions where the correct answers don’t match the explanation, suggesting no one bothered to ensure that the answers are correctly identified. Ironic for exams that stress due care and attention.
I love this app
Thanks
Great Idea
The app is nicely programmed (pretty surface) and it should help to prepare for the ISC2 certification exams. Unfortunatley really old questions not relevant for the exams. Answers not always consistent. Good: free questions
Very limited free version
Can create custom tests - 5 questions at a time, over any modules selected. Everything else requires $$.
Not enough
This application has the basic requirements for the test, the questions are far from the real ones. Of course help to have an idea but not more than that.
Good application for revision
Application is good. GUI is user friendly. There’s an error in some questions. 30% questions are repeated in practice test from the study questions. More Scenario based question to be added.
Recommend it great
Decent does what it says on the tin
Fehler
Die Anwenung funktioniert nicht und wirft Fehler.
Good questions, but with errors.
The test exam questions have a few errors. It sometimes marks my answer as wrong, identifying a different choice as correct but then describes a different answer as correct, usually my answer. The app could benefit from QAQC testing. Overall good for practice with acknowledgement of +/- 5-10% accuracy fluctuations.
Could be better
Questions and explanations are good. App could be better by allowing you to select number of questions based on your available time, randomise question sets, allow you to select the questions based on domain(s) etc. Also, the questions are the same as those in the Sybex books so it’s a costly way to access the same content. As with most things CISSP everyone is cashing in on the CBK which doesn’t appear to very common at all!
Nice app to prepare for the exam BUT
The new subscription model is rip off, just make the app buy once and put the price up a few bucks please. Also newest update has bugs! Some questions are shown as correct in the overview but if you click on them they are answered wrong. Also some say you are wrong but the description tells you you were right. Please fix soon, i pay per time!
Excellent
Fantastic App
Hmmm
So unable to create an account (password is always invalid) and yes followed the password creation rules!! Then tried with my gmail account and that does not work either.. :-(
Website version needed
Website version is needed
Good and expensive but possible error discovered!
When taking exam number 2, question 32 asks what has the shortest time period in the US? A trademark or a patent. According to Google the answer is a trademark at 10 years. A patent lasts for 20 years yet, in the question patent is the correct answer 😕 Unless I’m crazy of course.
Exam prep
Awsome app, and have been using it to study for cissp. Learnt a lot from just doing the questions and reviewing the ones I got wrong.
Content is good but It was auto renewed before the time
I wanted to cancel the subscription My subscription was valid till 5:18 but I was charged at 4PM
Free is good
The questions included in the free subscription would be great start for any one preparing for CISSP. Although i am planning to get the paid version i wanted to first see if i can dedicate myself to prepare for the exam. So i decided to start with the free and i got more than what i expected from a free version. A must app for every candidate.i gave 4 stars just because i have not tested the paid version yet.
Good start
Some things i miss: - Widget support - Study reminders like in apps like Duolingo - Study plan generation. Set a date when you want to be ready for the test. App tells you how many test questions you have to do per day.
GREAT CISSP RESOURCE
I realy enjoy usinh the CISSP LearnZapp to learn more abot the things I am a bit weak on and focus on those directly.
New update is really buggy and keeps crashing
I would give it zero stars if I could.
Great app but expensive.
.
Good, but…
I like the app and I have purchased the premium plan, but… The CISSP exam is known for providing full phrases, not just acronyms. However, this app solely uses acronyms in its questions. In addition, it is known that you will not see options such as ABC, BCE, etc on the exam. Additionally, Domain 4 feels overly technical, resembling a CCNA exam, which isn't representative of the CISSP's focus on broader network understanding. The CISSP exam will not make you a Network Engineer. While technical knowledge is important for the CISSP, the exam prioritises the understanding of concepts. In this regard, the app's focus may not be ideal for exam preparation.
Cissp practice App-excellent.
I love this app, its a great help to reinforce various topics and concepts as part of your exam preparation.
limited functionality. Has potential to be better
I installed this app with the hope it would help me. very limited functionality without paying for it. There are better apps both free and paid.
On my way
I have not taken the exam yet so maybe I should see how the results turned out. But to date it’s very efficient and provides me with the confidence to keep going.
Could use more randomness
Risks of seeing the same questions which can lead to just remembering the pattern of the question instead of knowledge. The exam actual CISSP also asks the questions in a more difficult manner.
Essential
This is an essential tool in you toolbox for passing the CISSP exam
Does not relate
This app is great as a start up and is actually better written than the actual exam. The actual exam is very badly written and sometimes does not even make sense. The exams purpose is to catch you out to fail you whereas this app is there to support you from failing.
English issues
They need to pay someone who has a CISSP and is fluent in English to go and check all their questions. So many don’t quite read properly. For example, one is “ The MAC model supports different environment types. Which of the following grants users access using predefined labels for specific labels?” The answer suggests the last use of “labels” should be “levels”. Grammatical errors abound. I hope the CISSP exam is worded better.
Great
I particularly like the readiness score, but remember it’s not a guarantee.
Good resource but get the feeling there is some bias in the question sets
It’s a good resource with a lot of questions and I’m using this to back up the official instructor lead training I did in January. I don’t know if this relates to the changes to the syllabus in May but there seems to be a particular bias to supplying software development security domain questions over the other domains. Not an issue as this is a weaker area for me but I’d like to see a more balanced question set to confirm a wider understanding.
request
I want you to be able to continue the test even if you close the app.
