What people like
- No annoying ads interrupting your game.
- It is genuinely fun to play.
- Simple interface that is easy to use.
What they complain about
- You must pay to keep playing.
- Rules are confusing and unclear.
- Game seems to cheat against you.
Train
If I can use all my dominoes on initial beginning why can’t I lay them all down and get additional points
No way to accumulate coins only if you purchase them.
The game is ok there is no way to accumulate coins without purchasing them. So I’ll find a better versi9n. Thanks
Final results
Final results are confusing. Just give winner and total wins. Thanks
Wild ride Mexican Train
The game is fun but every once in awhile it is as if someone takes over my train and just plays in my place. I don’t stand a chance until the game ends. It does not occur when there are doubles but always ends with me having a double and I always lose. This is annoying and enough to make me quit playing this version. Anyone else with this problem?
Instructions
Where are instructions. Other players are playing on me with no rhyme or reason!
Dad
I don’t understand the rating system.
Up to 18 pips?
Lol in the game there are 91 dominoes in the original game but why did you put like 52 dominoes in this game?
I still love this game
I love this game, but for the last handful of matches, ok this getting worse!! At the end of matches I can’t swipe to close when I’m finished.
You must pay to get smarter opponents
Most games when you play for a while you develop credits that you can use to start playing better opponents. Unable to advance pass the beginner level without paying.
Rules
I learned if you have double tiles when starting you keep going until all doubles are covered. Also if you can’t cover your double tile and someone else does you stay open until your next turn. This game closes your train after next person covers your double. That’s incorrect. Food for thought
Skips me 2-3 times occasionally and unable to play dominos and lose round
Love app except this one glitch
Where are the rules?
It wouldn’t let me play my dominoes on my train and I had three lined up to win it. Made me draw dominoes and let others ruin my track. With no rules to explain why it did that, or there is a mess up in the game.
Game is great!
Wish they had a tally of how many games played and won …
Rating issue
Can’t earn higher rating to play against either live people or harder level bots
Some setting options are needed
The game play is good - but there are a few things that would be great if they were adjustable. For example - letting you put out all your available matches on the first turn, making the hands more realistic (I never get hands that good in real life), following the rules that if someone can’t play, their train becomes public, etc.
Fun
So fun I love this game.
Failure to Comply
Single player Board allows player 4 to be bypassed on ending game any when a double has been covered .
Great Game
This is a great version of the game. I downloaded multiple versions and played through them to see what I like and dislike and I keep coming back to this version. I only with there was a setting for rules. Sometime when a computer player leaves a double open, it forces me to draw until I can cover the double but it seems like the computer isn’t forced to play in the double and ends the round.
should have option for single player, I don’t know why I don’t get points when I got my scores above
this game doesn’t give points for a single player solitaire game
A couple of things….
I was really enjoying this game but today when I wanted to start a new game I was blocked: now I have to buy tickets to play? Sigh… It was fun while it lasted. Do you have a link to play this game free and without ads?
Fun Mexican train game
It’s just so fun and easy and organized.
Bait & Switch
I did not download this FREE app with the understanding that A charge ensued if players rating (ability) improved.
Great Brain Training and Fun
I love this game. I haven’t found many Mexican train domino games out there. So if you like to play this game is a great way to practice. The only question I have is how do I see how many tickets I have?
To easy
Not challenging
No highlight
We should be able to choose to play with no highlighting the pick a tile button. If someone does not see a possible move they should be able to pick a tile and end their turn. The way it is now, the player is forced to see a possible move before the end of their turn. Better players are at a disadvantage.
Perfect!
I LOVE THIS GAME! Straight forward, no obnoxious ads.
Fun for a short time
Once you play for a certain amount of time they penalize you for not spending money to buy credits and you stop being able to make progress or earn any credits.
suggestion
Make it to where you have levels and when you win you get tickets!
Chance the beginnings player
It’s an nice game, but why is it always the first player that’s beginning te game?
2 FIXES
Love this game! It’s so fun. Only 2 flaws. I wish I could play all my dominoes in the first round. But that is ok if I can’t. The real flaw is that when I draw a domino I can’t play it on that turn, which I could IRL. That flaw has caused me to loose a few games and I’m not happy about that. Still fun to play
Why bother…
The “ why bother” is to Bubble Pop AND the reviewer…why bother writing a review if Bubble Pop doesn’t care enough to respond to it and why bother,Bubble Pop, to offer a chance for a reviewer to try to make the game better if you don’t care about their opinion anyway and why do I bother to suggest that these reviews, that I sometimes agree with, are a waste of space….who ever invented the Mexican Train is a great game maker, but it’s too bad that Bubble Pop itself is not a good promotor of the game…just sayin’.
Only playing with Tickets?
No tickets??So now I can’t play anymore!😱I won’t pay tickets, so what is my option?
Steep Penalty
One of my favorite games although penalty can seem too steep for not upgrading players
Mexican Train
Need more options
Needs options
Love the game but no where does it explain tickets or how get them, use them or get more. Add some way in get earn tickets.
Rax9999
Great game challenging
Mexican train
Toujours aussi pourri comme jeu. Je le désinstalle.
Review
Name the players, shrink the dominoes a bit
Cheating
The game cheats, I know how to play and there are times I could of won but it does not let me make a move
Mr
Rete
Fun and simple
It’s nice to be able to just play a game and not have to deal with ads or pressure to spend money. Can just enjoy.
Trash
Don’t waste your time
Fun game
Fun game. Need my opponents to be more skilled.
Sound
Is there no way to turn off the sound…it is anoying.
Addicted!
I’m the GOAT
Great Game
A little rough to start trying to figure it out but then way so fun to play. It’s a great distraction and fun.
Mexican train
I am very new to this game and certainly do not understand all the innuendos. I’m hoping if I play more, I will come to understand a) the scoring b) when it’s my turn and c) to find out if there is a way to play less ends. I have played Mexican train for years on an app that would no longer work after Apples last update….gotta hate that …as I truly enjoyed my previous M.T. And I could choose how many ends I wanted to play depending on the time I had to waste
