Incredible Prep 7-8-7
Studied with this as my main study tool (apparently not suggested) for about 4 months on and off, and then on very seriously for the last month. Completed almost all of the lesson plans, and scored a 7-8-7 on my first ever attempt. I’m a good test taker already, and I would suggest watching some YouTube videos as well. Had a great experience with this simple app. I’d suggest you use it as well.
Testing me on things I forgot since high school
I take the test in four more days and have been studying like hell the past 18 days I’m feeling more and more prepared, I will say, the math explanations feel like they skip certain steps, I feel like the questions are good, but explanations are better done by an ai that can simplify it further for me.

The ASTB psychomotor alone is crazy value especially with HOTAS Compatibility
Good but sims crash
Very helpful but keeps crashing on my computer when I try to connect a joystick for the rear cockpit, hoping it gets fixed soon

This app has been through development and through evolution is has become a heavy hitter with the other ASTB prep books. It has help understand the basics and how to accomplish each task step by step. Really didn’t mind paying for the extra cost due to the fact this app will provide you with a dream career.
Worth It
This app is very good for PBM preparation. Combined with a stick and throttle it's all you need. All of the other sections however aren't so comprehensive and is more of an overview requiring supplemental study material.
Can’t recommend enough!
Scored a 69, 8, 7, 8 using only this app and their coaching, definitely worth much more than the cost, I don’t recommend anyone take the ASTB without completing their courses and practicing on their simulators.

I HIGHLY recommend using this app and TBAS Study Pro. They’re different, and I think using both will give you the best tools you need to prepare for this test. I genuinely believe Alex wants to help people. I started with this app, then later used TBAS Study Pro, and eventually came back to this app. After using TBAS for a while, my scores on this app soared. There are so many great things about both apps that I honestly can’t say which one I like more. They’re both great for preparing for the PBM section of the ASTB. The only thing I struggled with was the math and reading portions of the test. I don’t know why, but on my attempts, it felt like nothing I studied for math was actually on the test. But if there’s one thing that can absolutely take me out, it’s math lol. I’ve also read a lot of reviews saying that the reading section is probably the hardest section to study for. On this app, I was scoring in the 90s on the reading portion, but on the real test, I did not do as well. The questions threw me for a loop. I actually think the aviation questions on the real test are easier than the practice questions on this app, but I felt overprepared going into that section.
Major improvements
First bought back in 2025. There have been many major improvements and implementations that I feel will benefit me when I take the test. Continue to expand the database of flash cards and possible practice test questions.
Good study
I am taking my ASTB for the first time tomorrow and feel extra prepared because of this resource. The practice tests and the flash cards were the best resources I used.
Nice app
This app has been helpful for me so far while studying for the ASTB and the best part is having everything in one place. Unfortunately the Desktop version does not have full practice tests like the IOS version, but if you purchase the app on your Mac you automatically have access on your iPhone as well
67 9/9/9 on first attempt
This app was my primary tool to study for the test, and it prepared me better than I could have asked for. The PBM practice got me more than ready for the actual test, and the academic sections are dynamic and challenging just like the real thing. If possible, I would recommend going out and getting an x52 or a similar flight stick to pair with the windows/Mac version of the app. This will absolutely prepare you for the pbm. This app was absolutely worth every penny, and if you want it badly enough, this app will get you there.

Everything is very informative, but the naval knowledge section syllabus freezes sometimes.
Biggest help when prepping for the ASTB
I used pretty much every feature on this app while studying for the ASTB and it helped me a ton. The math, mechanical, ANIT, and PBM practice were really helpful and made me feel much more prepared going into the actual test. Being able to practice everything in one place and not having to jump around was probably the biggest thing for me. After taking the ASTB, I definitely feel like this app prepared me well for what to expect. I would 100% recommend it to anyone getting ready to take the ASTB, and this will be the first resource I send to anyone who asks me for help preparing for it. I would definitely recommend the training session with Lou, he gave me great tips and advice and even remembered the day my exam was and took the time to follow up
Great Apl
Got accepted as a BDCP SNA with 50 6/8/7 on my first attempt using only this app. Would have easily gotten a near perfect score with other resources -such as the OAR app- but this app is in general the best and most up to date app on the market - worth every penny. Also had the opportunity to do a coaching lesson with Lou. Great guy who takes his time to answer your questions thoroughly. Overall, this app is incredible, with the all the flight portions being identical to the real test. If you want to pass, buy this app.
The best option if you need direction to start your naval career.
I have prior service in my family but no Navy or Pilots. I started with this app since it was the only thing I could find once my recruiter told me “study for the ASTB”. I got a 6/7/7. And I am on my way to OCS as a Pilot select. I would not have been able to do this without the guidance of Lou. He was always willing to pick up the phone and be a mentor no matter how hard or long the process has been so far. I recommend this app to anyone willing to get started as a SNA OR SNFO. Just be ready to do the work
