The best shares app!!
I’ve been using Superhero for my share investing and have had a great experience. The app is easy to navigate, making it simple to buy, sell, and track investments without being overwhelmed by unnecessary complexity. The brokerage fees are competitive, and I appreciate having access to both Australian and US markets in one platform. The portfolio tracking and reporting features are clear and straightforward, which makes managing my investments much easier. The app runs smoothly, transactions are processed efficiently, and the overall user experience is excellent. Spam notifications
I have push notifications turned off in the app’s setting, but just got this breach of trust: Dip your toe into the U.S market Invest in companies like Disney, Spotify and Lululemon from $2* brokerage. Transfer from AUD to USD in your Wallet to get started. Other fees might apply. I guess that means superhero loses their privileges to my phone’s notifications permanently at the system level. You have to sleep in the bed you made.
Scrolling issue
All goods except while scrolling, holding for less than half second on an asset would take me to view that asset details too which is very bad, I have to go back everytime
Withdrawals are a bit of a joke
Somehow I can transfer from my Australian bank account to my Spanish bank account instantly, or from any of my crypto apps to my bank accounts instantly, yet Superhero takes at least 2 business days to get available funds to your account. Not good enough
Great for share trading horrible for FX
This is a super helpful share trading platform , the easiest Ive come across , and is great for reporting. What lets it down is a couple of things the fx fees are high and tied to kinda gimmicky Qantas points. Why not simply give a better fx rate , or better still partner with allowing integrations with wise , or Airwallex to allow multiple currency withdrawals. Conversion back to AUD from USD to withdraw is a buzz kill.

Great App
Great app - super easy to use. A lot of great features that help you understand how good your investments are; such as return on investment, $ amount of dividend received and your return for each respective financial year. On top of that they sponsor the Hawks. Feedback: In the diversification of your portfolio section if you are invested in ETFs it merely says “ETF”. It would be good if they could some how dissect what industries you are exposed to within the ETFs and have that represented in the portfolio diversification chart. Hope this makes sense. Thanks Superhero for this app!! Also slightly disappointed they are moving on from qantas points deal. Flat with that.
UX issues
It isn't wise to rely on down action in touch to register an item click in a scrolling layout, because there's big potential to incorrectly handle a user intending to scroll. It happens a lot lately.
Absolutely a basic app
When you increase font size you cannot see the percentage gain or loss. Why no night mode?

I really like the simplicity and ease of use with this App. My only complaint is the functionality that isn’t available when trading US shares. I have a significant amount of US shares making it a little bit difficult. For instance there is no stop loss news or news icon available on US shares. No pre-or post market information on Aus or US so I have to use a second party app for this. It’s handy to know if shares are opening up or down pre market. Also not the cheapest for currency exchange. If we had these things It would be five stars from me. Please look into this?

Glitchy but works
The filters are glitchy and shows cancelled trades no matter what you choose. Doesn’t support dark mode which makes it annoying in the night. On the other hand quick money transfer and minimal ui and relatively lower fees for asx trades are the pros.

I’ve been trying to get in to manage my super for months, I’ve tried contacting multiple and have had no help. Pretty frustrating :(
Things to add
I love your app, noticed a few things, more integration with more complex tasks like options or puts, one thing is the autopilot app - contact them and ask for api integration, more advanced graphs and charts so maybe a advanced mode and a basic mode, actual trading graphs with opens & closes and TPs and stop loss. overall app is good especially for beginners but i think there’s a good amount of headroom to expand on.
Shares missing from dashboard
My TSLQ shares are missing from my dashboard and support has acknowledged this and promised to fix it three times to no avail. If you want to be able to sell your shares on your terms at the right time, this might not be the app for you.
Great platform, poor UX and UI!
While the platform is quite great and full of features plus competitive brokerage cost structure, the User Experience and the User Interface just needs a complete overhaul. Please take inspiration from the Stake app for that. Also, would love to see the option to enable dark mode as I’m often using the app late at night but the white background puts strain on the eyes, making it difficult to use it for more than a few minutes.

Developer REST API
I love the app, it’s great. As a developer myself, I think that an API for accessing share data for an additional monthly fee should be considered, potentially with a rate-limited free tier. Think Stripe but for AUS stock markets.
App crashing and no clear record of Share holding in a registered Share Registry
App keeps crashing recently and doesn’t let me log in on my iPhone and I can’t find my registered HIN or SRN number to document my share purchase. Otherwise app has been good

Great investment app
I like this app and I think it serves its purpose completely well. In saying that, I do have a couple points in terms of user interface that hopefully are easy to implement and should make the user experience much better. When viewing your own balance, it would be great to be able to select a time frame greater than 1Y. Like with the stocks, a 5Y option would be good. But even regarding the stocks, I would like to be able to see a “MAX” timeframe for stocks that have been around longer than 5 years. Another tweak along the same line would be to have a “zoomable”/interactive stock price window where you can pinch and scroll to view price data for tighter/broader periods at any point of the stocks life. Overall, these are the main criticisms I have, and they are not very critical to the actual function of the app, which I am happy with.
Don’t like the withdrawal
Withdrawal process takes too long, when we have technology for instant pay, especially since you created Swyftx, I know you know how to do that, I’d say that’s my only issue with it and makes you unreliable, it was also not clear how to verify it to begin with which also took some time
Update required - buggy
Not sure if others having similar issue but it’s very laggy/glitchy with scrolling through your holdings in the app. Either takes a very long time to get going or doesn’t work at all and need to force quit app. I’m on a newish iPhone.
The Best Share Trading Platform in 2024
I have used many share trading apps including thousands of dollars spent using CommSec. Superhero is so much better. It’s user friendly and the fees are very fair. I cannot fault this company and I am very grateful for their service. Brenton Barron
Frozen app
Trying to register to have a look and the whole app frozen. Tried deleting and trying again after several attempts but still unable to access. So can’t explain what is so hyped about this when you can even get through front gate.
Improvement with historical data
Currently limited to 5 years on historical data. Would be excellent to see “ALL”
Not supporting for iPad
App made only for mobiles, on iPad it shows like mobile display not full screen it should be updated. watching stocks on iPad with the mobile display size doesn’t make sense
Could be good platform but needs more attention
I have been trying to deposit money in to the platform. Their account comes up as invalid bank account, even tried from different banks. Don’t know what’s really wrong, are they actually trying to get business or what ? It’s a shame that no other options for depositing money only bank transfers. No poli or credit cards etc. probably a way better option than Sharesies but they gotta get it sorted. I have been trying to reach the customer service as well very slow response through emails.

Scam alert
They scam you on every single stock u buy. The price is not clear and they place your buys at highest possible rate on the day and when you sell they place on the price that market hasn’t even seen. They don’t pay out dividends according to what’s mentioned. And the support team they have are not responsive
Great experience
Love the platform. As a novice, it would be great if tapping some of the reported figures would bring up their meaning. Also what the numbers represent like time period they measure.
App not working for weeks
I am sick and tired of contacting your support team been weeks and am unable to login in the app or do any trading. I have no clue why my query is not being actioned??
Recommended with some improvement
Great app that gives the local an easy access to the US market. It would be great if this app can be expanded into other Asian markets and the ability to be used in iPad.
No call centre. Beaurocratic to deal with
If something goes wrong you cannot call superhero. If you are owning small caps with take over bids ensuing. To take up the takeover bid thru superhero there is a risk of your paperwork being unprocessed this happened to me and it took months to sort out, i received partial compensation for lost money but ended up days of valuable time fighting for a solution. The share trades are cheap for a reason. Pay an extra few dollars per trade and dont risk being left in a communication void. Feels like a severely understaffed business with low corporate accountability for errors.
