Awesome extension only wish…
…that clicking on the home-screen app was another way of accessing ones shortcuts without having to go through Safari directly.

i want to be able to change to icon without color
its useful. better customizability is good. I can choose many way with a lot of shortcuts i want to. but i don’t like this apps icon on safari. its colorful. so, the icon break my mac taste. i want to choose icon without color, mono tone.

Safari blocks it. Gets a one-star rating since there's no option for fewer.

Buggy
I've been using this for about a year now and its been great and worked as expected but in the last month its just completly stopped working. When I click on the icon to activate it theres just a small blank pop up. I've quit and reopened, restarted my mac and deleted and reinstalled but cant sem to fix the issue.

Great app
Amazing app. Helps to use Safari more often than the Chrome. However, after I upgraded to mac os big sur - extension reinstalls and resets after every system reboot. (I am tired to use backup settings to restore my shortcuts) Don't know what to do :(

Eu li o único coment aqui, e decidi por mesmo assim instalar e ver se isso não tinha mudado, visto que teve uma atualização recente, mas não. Ainda vem o aviso, ao usar a extensão de que sim, eles podem, ver, alterar e acessar nosso historico, e não só isso, como ver dados de banco, senhas.... gente. Eu li a polica de privacidade, não fala sobre isso, mas na hora de usar a extensão, vem esse aviso. Eu não vou arriscar, já removi do safari.
Needs substantial improvement
Is a very good idea for an app, given the usability of G Suite in general. However, in my case, I had to download multiple times after permissions were asked repeatedly which led to two logos being displayed in Safari, one of them which never worked. I currently have the app uninstalled, but would love to use it willingly when it's fixed in the future.

L'idée est bonne, mais c'est tout
Impossible de paramétrer durablement les applications en raccourcis. J'ai essayé à plusieurs reprises, mais à chaque fois, ça remet tout par défaut. Cela en devient inutile. C'est dommage car l'idée est bonne, mais il faudrait que le reste le soit aussi. Je vais me débrouiller autrement pour avoir accès à mes applications Google plus rapidement. Je ne mets pas 1 étoiles, mais 2 pour vous donner mon soutien quand même, en espérant que ça s'améliore et alors peut-être que je réinstallerai à ce moment-là.

This simple app is BETTER than all the paid alternatives!
TL:DR... I tried all the paid "google docs for mac" apps available, and this one is just the best. Which is funny because it's FREE! Only issues (11-28-23): Shortcut Behavior toggles do not seem to work on the latest Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.1 in Safari. I have disabled both toggles, and I still have to manually close out an empty new tab. It would be lovely if I could simply open my google doc/slide/form directly into the tab I'm currently looking at :)
App asks for passwords and browsing history for every site.
Why on earth would a simple app that just offers links to Google sites, need your password and browsing history. Literally bonkers that no one including Apple is asking that.

Seems simple enough to use, wish there was a dark mode though.
Please stop changing the shortcuts
This keeps updating which I appriciate but each time it does, the shortcuts are reset to default. I have changed it back to the original settings like 6 times now. Please please fix this
Works well, but...
The extension works fine, and as expected, from an empty tab, however if you try and use it while the browser is on another tab, it constantly asks for access to that page. While I can see the value of this for some people, I don't want to use it in this way, ever. I never want the extension to access this information - but there's no way to prevent it from asking. Every. Single. Time. It's very annoying, and there should be some way to turn this off and only load up the requested service in a new tab.

Why is this even on the App store I just dont understand it. Its poorly rated, barely adds value and for some reason is on the top ten list.
Convenient and better than bookmarks... but:
This is a good extension. The interface is very clean and satisfying to look at, and since I recently stopped using bookmarks (to make the top menu bar smaller/cleaner) this is a perfect extension for me. It's good that you're able to add custom shortcuts, that's very convenient and useful. Unfortunately, I have to cons for this extension. The setting for "Open shortcuts in new tab" would be very convenient for me, however, it does not work. When I turn that off and click a site from the drop-down list, it doesn't do anything. The second is not really a con but a suggestion: I wish I could change or add custom icons for the toolbar icon. Overall this is a great extension with little improvements to be made, great job!

Not an App
This is a simple shortcut to Google Docs. It isn't doing anything other than taking up space on your computer.
No account switching?
Not fit for purpose when you can't choose which Google account you want to 'launch' into. As someone who has two accounts that need switching between, this is very frustrating.

Sorry all you reviewrs use Google which scraps and steals your data like Facebook. The data this app gets is for Google so you can use the apps provided by google.

my safari version is 14.0.3 (16610.4.3.1.4) and the G App Launcher did not work at all . no response when i click "close and open safari preference "
Works very well
I cannot figure out what problems others are having, this plugin works perfectly well on Safari and Chrome. Makes access to all the Google services I use easy and all in one place. Nice work!
Permissions Beware
Installs as RootPermissions required...which requires User todeclare Root to the app. which then has Rootpermissions declared if you try to manage the directory, ie. delete the directory, et al. Dangerous this does be....
