What they complain about
- Teachers can see your screen
- Blocks harmless educational websites
- Feels like total loss of privacy
- Closes tabs without warning
Bad
If you’re a school reading this I’m glad you are the app is absolutely horrible it blocks every app including kid friendly apps which also it blocks websites that are also kid friendly and is extremely easy to bypass allowing you to play video games I don’t recommend using this
WHY DID THEY EVEN MAKE THIS?
I’m a student KIPP and my teacher uses this Admin Ahh tool TO LITERALLY SPY ON YOU AND BLOCK THINGS THAT ARE ARE EDUCATIONAL
No privacy
Get this app if you want your privacy taken away from you completely. This app used to have a feature before they removed it where they could turn on your webcam and you had no way to turn in off. Some of my homework requires me to go on websites, like art class where I need to find info about the art piece. While I’m looking, 90% of the websites will be blocked. I’ll be looking at the website, “art.com” or “pablopicassoofficialart.org” and it will be blocked. Do not get this app unless you want to torture your child, students, or I guess yourself.
It sucks😕
As a teacher, respectfully, this app did NOT work for me. Also, I think this is an invasion of privacy, and this should not be legal. #respectpeoplesprivacy
Stupid privacy invasion
I’m an LanSchool student but why does it basically control your own computer and you can’t do anything about it. It makes the student feel like a prisoner. And then they block every single fun website, are they trying to take away every ounce of our joy
It is racist
I literally said that we need to end racism to my friend on school Gmail and I got flagged.
IF I COULD GIVE ZERO, I WOULD
THIS STUPID APP INVADES PRIVACY AND TEACHERS NEVER BLOCK ACTUAL INNAPROPRAITE WEBSITES AND INSTEAD BLOCK HARMLESS GAME WEBSITES
I HATE THIS APP
I have no privacy at ALL, I cant do nothing without a teacher CONSTANTLY watching me. this app litterally lets teachers track you without consent, i might just get a lawsuit on this app, and its so annoying, i searched up” who created go guardian” AND IT WAS BLOCKED and mind you everything i searched was block like wheres my privacy ho
NO DAMN PRIVACY
Im a student named jaxon serrano i hate this app i get that its to keep students on task BUT ITS ABILITIES ARE WAY TO OVERPOWERED it can disable browsing, close tabs, monitor your screen, check your browsing history, block websites, and even turn on your camera to see what your doing in person… i wish i can give this 0 stars, we are in America, we have freedom stop taking that from us we have a right for privacy TAKE THIS APP DOWN NOW! It treats you like a damn prisoner copy and paste this message for others to see it.
This needs to go
This app needs to go I was literally checking my grades and my teacher decided to close my tab out for no random reason please somebody file a lawsuit against this app
