Good afternoon. I appreciate this game for several reasons. 1. It’s exactly as it is in the current ads for it. So there are no misleading, fallacious ads to deceive anybody into downloading it. 2. It’s more of a strategy game than one would think at first glance. There are several things you can do and to increase your chances against others that most of you not think of. Some of these strategies include the decision to go into attack others, purchase troops or upgrade troops or spread out low level troops too many different ships to upgrade buildings or spend resources elsewhere I apparently according to my doctor scored 206 on an IQ test and thus putting me in the top 1% of the population with this in mind, I’m a major strategist and have learned very quickly that if you send your ships behind the enemies, then you can potentially end the battle before very many people are killed. It’s completely up to you whether you not. And please enjoy your game.
Doesn’t reward long term players
I think there are a lot of bots writing reviews. The game is fine. Can be engaging while you are building troops but there comes a time when you have gone as far as you can. Even after spending lots and lots… It’s always been the buggy and or inconsistent in game play. And the game doesn’t reward you for getting far. Lots of messages like ‘coming soon’. And then they never come…

Weirdly fun
I’m gonna keep this very short. The character designs sure are weird, but cool in my opinion. Although I think there could be like a little more variation then just showing the characters weapon and helmet gear/facial hair. Like maybe for units that are suppose to be tanks could have a chest plate some sort. Also in the winning screen you might want to remove the arms of the guy cheering, it looks weird. That’s about it for me though. Love the game all together, and other than the character designs sure, a pretty high quality game.
Good game but…
I like the game (sure, it’s nothing like the ads, but it’s still a good game) but I made a clan, didn’t get on for a few months, and suddenly my clan was gone! I spent 2000 gems on a clan and it just disappeared. If you could, please fix this bug developers.
The army problem
my troops ain’t trooping My army ain’t placing if i finished placing my troops ant start my battle it will go back to the placing menu and it will go back to when i never placed my troops

I have standard level 9 troops that won’t combine. I been seeing the "Coming Soon" message for years.
Games going downhill
Frequent, unannounced changes in the mechanics of the game is fairly frustrating but until recently only required adjusting strategy. Currently the defensive aspect has been severely nerfed to the point where defensive strategies are useless and offensive strategies are unnecessary. There is currently no strategy required to find success and the game is boring. Hard to justify playing a strategy game that no longer requires strategy. They say they notify us of changes, but that’s bologna. Sure they notify changes to troop/hero stats through their discord, stuff you can see. Never a notification of changes in troop logic (some people say AI, but it’s hardly intelligent) and certainly not when they nerfed every players defense. I mean NERFED to the point of boredom. Developers neglect the players, clan members post on clan discords responses and it’s discouraging. It’s all about money, not player experience. Games been going downhill, if they can’t resolve it soon I cant justify spending time playing the game or simply having the app on my phone.

The game is great however the VIP subscription is underwhelming definitely need to up the amount of battles you can do as a VIP member… tracking you can get up to 30 but VIP’s should get like 50 which would entice more people I think

I downloaded this game 2 years ago and it was a great game up until now. At this point the game gets little to no support from the developers or whoever is running the game. There have been many updates to include new troops, maps, and game modes, but the main component is the AI, and it’s performing very poorly. This is a pay to play, so if you want to spend tons of money to be a top player then this is the game for you. Just remember you can’t be a mid level spender, you have to go BIG, to get results. Good luck to those who download, don’t say you haven’t been warned. Best, A disappointed, former loyal player

It’s just a suggestion but I would like to see a mode where I can go into a first person view of my one of my warriors and maybe control their movement and attacks?
Has potential
This is a great game considering it is free with no compulsory ads. The big downside is that you are in direct competition with online opponents so you have to dedicate a LOT of time every single day to progress. Even with that, unless you are willing to pay real money you will always be miles behind the computer geeks who do pay to upgrade their island.

I have been playing this game on a daily basis since 8 months. I consider myself addicted to it and I reached some advanced levels However the game lacks changes and updates it’s boring same battles same characters barely a change or two since I started.

O jogo é legal, vicia um pouco. Como todo jogo atual quanto mais você gasta mais você ganha. O problema é que os preços são bem altos e isso explica o abismo que tem na quantidade de clãs brasileiros diante das demais nações. Talvez um reajuste torne mais interessante e possa atrair mais brs. De qualquer forma estou jogando a 10 dias e sempre sou uma checada.

Great with incredible potential
This game is very very good. I usually have trouble sticking with games but haven’t felt that as the progressing is fast enough to keep me interested but not too fast as too feel too easy. However, I cannot give this game 5 stars as of yet because it feels almost half baked and unfinished. I’m mostly this is due to how much island war is lacking in the strategic department. Although weather is a nice touch, I have discovered that the best strategy for invading seems to solely consist of sending al boats very near to each other to overwhelm opposing troops. I would love to see other ways of utilising strategy including a pointer to send troops towards. I also believe that there is a considerable issue with the hero’s system because as soon as you get a legendary hero, you are unlikely to ever change hero. I also believe that heroes lack ways to be unique as most have similar abilities. I also believe that island war struggles to deal with wood. In the beginning of the game you have far too much but further on you constantly need more. I think that less uses for wood is the best option tho any solution would be fine

One of the best games I’ve played in a long while, can’t put it down. The reason as to why I’ve only put 4 stars instead of 5 is 1. The game needs like a global chat and not just a clan chat. 2. Poorly programmed soldiers
The game is fun, with lots of different challenges. However, the PVP portion is poorly programmed. The goal in the PVP battles is to destroy buildings, but your army does NOT target buildings. In fact, it will turn AWAY from the buildings to target more enemy soldiers. It is exceptionally frustrating! Also, would be helpful to see replays of assaults on your home base, so you can improve your defence.

This game is so fun, it was not only a way for me to have fun but it was a way for me to bond with my brothers who at the time didn’t think to highly of me so, thank you.
Worst game movement ever
Fog is the only playable weather for attackers. Other weathers are all a mess. They are junk. Movement mechanic is a joke in this game. Force mages are stronger than anything else if you use money to buy a hero that's immune from it. Overall, trash game do not recommend.
