Need assistance
My PESI app is not functioning in IPad properly. I am unable to see full screen view.
What is going on?
I’m getting error codes for everywhere and no help or setting function. Did something happen to the app?! It was working perfect last week.
Not working
Able to get it to work after deleting and reloading 2x. Appreciate the convenience of having this on devices.
So frustrating
The app loses my spot constantly, eg if I get a phone call, if I put it in the background, and even if I pause the recording. Not only does it lose my spot but it kicks me all the way out to the main screen. Insane.
Latest IOS update broke the app
I was watching a training this morning, updated my IOS, tried to watch more training and nothing works or even loads. I get a JSON error. App was “OK” before that.
Counsellor perspective
Learning a lot. Very helpful.
Same problems every year
The app is terrible. The trainings are fine. Basically the video cannot be run in the background. If you download the audio, it restarts every time you leave the recording. And then twice a week or so, the download displays an error and will not play at all. If you want to download it again, you have to uninstall and reinstall the app entirely. That’s what I’m doing here today. It wouldn’t be such a bother (maybe) except these are the exact problems I was told by customer service last year they were both aware of and working on. A year ago.
Not logging in
I haven’t been able to get the app to log in for a while now. Just goes back to the log in screen
Download Issues
The download feature does not work - all downloaded videos and audio will not load or play after the app has been opened and closed a couple of times. In addition, the downloaded file does not save your spot (when it works the first couple of times).
Domestic violence Counsellor
I thoroughly enjoyed the expressive art therapy course I can definitely implement these interventions into my clinical practice. Thank you for reigniting my passion for music and movement
App sucks!
The app is so glitching. I was hoping it would be easy to do my CE on the road but it is very difficult.
The Media Player is TERRIBLE!
The media player (whether video or just audio, streamed or downloaded) is so bad. It doesn’t remember where you left off so it restarts you at the beginning. It closes down if you pause it for more than a minute, so if you pause it you better memorize your timestamp in the presentation. Sometimes it just won’t play the media, even after restarting the app. Every time you have to access your material, you start from the very first page. This requires you to paw through several menus and any class you’ve ever purchased to get to the one you were listening/watching. Then you have to find the segment of the lecture you were consuming, and finally recall what the timestamps was left at 65 seconds after you paused it. Terrible user experience, PESI needs to put some effort into making this a worth while app. It gets 2 stars instead of one from me, because I’m glad they made an app at all. It’s a bump up from having to do all this on the website.
Begging for an update
I would be willing to donate to fix the issues this app has. I would like to be able to watch the videos on the background while I’m taking notes. I would like to be able to switch between apps without the course closing on me, and I would like to download content with no issues. Other than that content is spectacular.
Does not even open
This app won’t even open, update the app so it’s usable or maybe stop asking to use it the browsers
Disappointed
The app worked for a while. Then it completely stopped and now it won’t even let me sign in. That’s frustrating because there are a number of webinars I was gearing up to watch. There are some I purchased and can’t get to because of this as well.
Please please update
Love your seminars and focus on improving our professional. Please for the love of sanity update your app. There needs to be a way to pause and come back to where you left off. Especially when it’s an 8 hour video. Also, speed would be flipping fantastic. Some speakers are so slow. Please please please.
Doesn’t work
It won’t even let me see my trainings listed much less watch them.
App is unusable
You cannot switch to another app to take notes or else the app resets, and the downloaded content just stops playing altogether at some point despite being downloaded. This app has serious issues and needs an update.
App opening issue
When I open Pesi, and put I. Email/ it starts to connect but then reboots to the login menu. Please fix
Update
Look, I really love this app. It really helps me to go and be able to listen to trainings that I’ve purchased via my phone in different settings and other places then when I’m not near my computer. Currently I can’t even get it to open. It just has my email address I hit continue and I can’t even get into my account so that’s why I’ve given it a one star I’d love to fix that. I didn’t bring it back because I really enjoyed the way. The app was working, but it needs to be updated and please do it quickly.
Possibly some of the worst software I’ve ever encountered
This app is so limited in it’s function that it’s practically useless for anything other than using your i-device as a monitor for the trainings and it’s barely any good at that. There’s no option for split screen use so you can’t take notes on your iPad at the same time as you’re trying to learn. There’s no Picture in Picture so you can do the same or research something being discussed like a recommended book or website. The app itself only functions in portrait mode until you start a video making an iPad app completely disfunctional, because even when you start the video it always starts in portrait and mini. It has to be forced into full-screen mode to start working in landscape. I’ve had the download option erase the content by itself multiple times. You can’t search or purchase trainings from the app. The fact that I need it because PESI is one of the largest training providers makes me angry every time I open it. I’d rather it be a paid app and be good than free and feel like it’s actually hindering my learning as much as it’s helping.
WAS a good app, but it stopped working, so I uninstalled it.
In connection to a recent purchase, PESI said to download it, which I did again, but it keeps telling my to login, then goes back to start. Somewhere it said to ask fired help in chat (WHY do any need sll my info?) & the chat is, "offline," after spending that time.
Terrible app
Love what the company offers, but the app is just awful. Can’t access the downloads, the stream option stops if you get a text, call, or turn off the screen for any reason.
This app is just so subpar
10/25/25 Update: You still can't search the PESI REHAB App using its search function. Crazy. No results when using the exact product code number or the exact name of the course in the mailing we receive. Freaking ridiculous. Done looking at PESI for any of our academic/CEU needs. You can't search the app for a specific course you're looking for. You received the PESI newsletter in the mail. You want to sign up for a course on this app and you just can't find it using the exact language from the newsletter. Brutal. It's it is supposedly "updated" it's still horrible to load your video to pick up where you left off. This experience of spending your money and accessing your product should just be so much smoother.
Fixed Crashing App Issue
To anyone who is having issues with the app not opening/immediately closing/crashing- I deleted the app from my phone, and the associated data, and redownloaded it which seemed to correct the issue. Hopefully this review helps those who were stuck in the situation of the app automatically crashing.
good idea, terrible execution
Have been struggling with this app for years. There’s ALWAYS some issue going on, whether it be not being able to access my course or not playing downloaded material. It’s infuriating and the updates don’t help. Seriously, this app needs to be scrapped and redone from the bottom up. No amount of updates are going to solve this.
App is mess, has some solid content
I spend more time trying to figure out where I was in the course than listening to the course - it shuts down the app any time you task switch, even if you’re just listening to the audio. It would be nice if it would remember where you were in the course and to be able to go straight to any downloaded content and just pick back up and go. It’s just not user friendly, unfortunately. Wish they would fix the many app issues as I enjoy the classes, but the app makes me want to find a different source for online training that isn’t so frustrating.
App not working
The app doesn’t open up anymore.
Downloads don’t work
The reason why I downloaded the app is to download videos to watch offline and this feature is so bad, it would only download if your screen is on and completely wipes out the progress the moment your device goes to sleep or if you switch to other apps
It used to work
The app used to work, but it no longer does.
No Landscape mode
It’s an OK app, but you can’t get it to turn for landscape mode on the iPad. It also doesn’t do double window viewing. So for example, during the course video viewing, I have to select online viewing and then it won’t let me have my note taking app open in order to take notes at the same time. Please fix this app.
Junk app
App desperately needs updates. Downloads are tedious, glitchy, and cannot be cleared from phone memory unless if you uninstall the entire app.
Slow and glitchy
So frustrating i just want to be able to easily listen to CEUs and this app pauses, disconnects, loses your spot, and just overall is SLOW. please update soon, we pay too much for CEUs to PESI for the service to be this bad to listen to them. The app is a great idea, but needs to be improved
Audio cracking up
The audio was cracking up throughout the whole presentation, except the videos. Please fix this issue. Thank you.
