Glitched out
I’ve bought the subscription and it’s not letting me “go pro” it just keeps saying “you already are subscribed” and I can’t access any features. Anytime I try logging in on the web with Gmail it says a problem has occurred. Just stole my money and ran smh
Some issues
Having to type everything in exactly perfect to generate matches, spell check would be helpful when searching for comps fast.
Some great features and some not
I have had the pro version of the app for a little over a year now and like it enough to keep it but there are some things that drive me a little crazy. The biggest one being the “made up” values for your PSA graded cards. Idk exactly how it gets the value but I know for sure that it over values everything and a lot of my lower pop/ more rare cards are severely over valued. The other thing is searching for raw cards kinda sucks. When you find the one you’re looking for I wish it just brought up all of those and their last sold values instead of the CL # that no one really cares about. Also wish the value graph looked a lot different or had different time frames. Cant really see the changes in your cards value over time so almost no point to having a graph. Little changes could go a long way. Pretty good app though and I like being able to quickly estimate the more common graded cards I have!

The free version does not let you scan your cards to see the current value. What a waste of my time!
Pictures
This needs to have a flash so it can take a picture of the cards and be able to make it out doesn’t make out the card so it always says no history. You always have to type it in if this was a free app that would be understandable, but I pay monthly so it should be able to take the picture of the card and get it correct every single time.

Had one day now and it’s not working
I have had the “card ladder app” less than one day and already the main function that I subscribe for is not working! Trying to take a photo of a card and am getting an error message. It roughly translates to “ not available try to pull down” Not a good start for $200!!!!!!

Best app for prices
Without a doubt the best place for comps. But the camera sucks so bad. Be prepared to type because the camera will maybe recognize 1 in 10 cards. The camera sucks so bad it’s not even funny. Especially if it’s a refractor. Don’t plan on anything happening quickly because you spend half your day typing because THE CAMERA SUCKS! FIX THE CAMERA!
Great Data, Poor Cost Tracking
Great platform for card values and market data, but one major flaw prevents me from giving it a higher rating. Historical purchase prices change over time because all prices are stored in USD and converted using the current exchange rate. If I enter a card at $450 CAD, it may show $453.50 CAD the next day even though I never edited the transaction. For collectors with large collections, accurate cost basis tracking is essential. Historical purchase prices should remain fixed. I contacted support about this and was told it is working as intended. Unfortunately, that makes the portfolio tracking feature difficult to trust. Great data, but this issue needs to be addressed.

As a collector this app is unmatched. When it comes to comping cards at shows or at home quickest way to do so.

Card scanning
I love this app when it comes to checking comps but a huge reason why I decided to pay $20/month for the app was because I could easily take a picture of a card and the card/parallel should populate and SAVE ME TIME. 98% of the time I take a photo of a card EVERY PARALLEL aside from the one I took a photo of appears. How does that make any sense? So even though I pay for this app I still have to go to eBay, take a photo of the card on their app, and eBay has NO ISSUE showing me the parallel or exact card I took a photo of, from there I grab the name of the card and have to plug that into cardladder to check comps. I pay for cardladder to make my life easier but really I should just me using eBay to take photos of cards I don’t know the parallel name of and filtering to sold or just using 130 point for FREE. I think this app can really be great and I’ve continued to pay for it monthly hoping you guys fix the bug that’s causing this issue but it’s every time and nothing changes. And it’s not because I’m taking a picture of a card that’s in a top loader or in a magnetic holder. I take them out of all of that snap the photo and still Card Ladder can’t help me identify the majority of cards I take photos of. It’s really frustrating and I hate giving a low review score to something that has helped me, but there’s not enough effort going into this app which should be saving its customers time and money. If this was my app I would ask “why does eBay’s camera easily identify a card but ours does not?” Even worse is that when cardladder correctly scans and finds the right card it only shows OLDER LISTINGS of the card I took a photo of. Why would the most current comps not appear when the photos are of the same card? I don’t create apps and know everything that goes on to build one so I respect what this app tries to do but I just got into the hobby a year ago and people that have been in it much longer tell me they don’t pay for the app for this reasoning. I’m reviewing my frustrations, yes, but genuinely I just want a solution and I would gladly continue to pay for this app if I saw there were attempts to fix these issues but at this point I think the app is costing me more time (money) than anything.

Today was my birthday and this was the best birthday because I got this. Finally I got a lot of other stuff that I really love and I think that this is the best app for getting some sports cards comped

Card Ladder makes checking values on cards and compiling data on your collection so easy. I have not seen another tool with these capabilities or near flawless functionality. Keep up the great work!
