Amazing
Best app for new parents!
Paid app but only access for one device/parent
Kind of sad that with todays technology, no one designing this app had even thought to implement a way that you can sync the information across 2 devices. My wife paid for this app, and I am unable to access info so that we can mark things off together. Even tried signing in with her account on my phone, and it doesn’t work. You do realize most families have 2 parents, right? Hopefully this gets fixed, but I doubt it as this is already a glaring oversight in app development, I doubt there is enough care to fix it properly.
Great content, app functionality is meh
Absolutely love the actual content of this app. Recipes are AMAZING. As a developer, the app experience is majorly lacking. As a user, I don’t want my last name showing when I leave a review. As a user, I should be able to persist the page I am on even when the app times out or I switch to another app (leaving the BLW app open in the background). As a user, I’d also like to create a shopping list for selected recipes. As a user, I want to organize recipes by tried/not tried. TLDR; great recipes… just wish app functionality was as good as the food!
Measurements are all off
Don’t waste your money on this. The measurements are all off, none of the things that I have made have come out right. Super upset I wasted money on a annual. Poor quality
Great content in a bad application
You’ll get what you are looking for your mini loved ones. Plenty of recipes, tips how to offer food and a calendar with meal prep. You can even find recipes for the whole family to enjoy! However, the application does not recognize your login information, nor your subscription. You’ll have to restore, every time you open the app, AND login afterwards. With the restore you can access content, but without login, you cannot access your preference, for example if you saved recipes you wanted to try. Lastly, the login isn’t recognize to be filled automatically on an Apple phone, you gotta go through the Passwords and create the user and password combo for BLW. So everytime you login, you’ll have to click and browse through your passwords. All of the above is really annoying considering how much money the app cost per year. This is precious mommy time that we are waisting here. Fix this by investing into what should be a 2024 app.
Great help!
I love that I can easily see what I have to my baby and the recipes are so helpful when I am out of ideas
Paid membership is unusable
The information is good but the app keeps logging me out and multiple times a day I need to restore purchase.
App is overall great but food tracker could be improved
This is my favorite BLW app. Everything you need to know is all in one place. I love that I can click and get all the info I need without having to be redirected to a website or anywhere else. I love the how to serve information which is really detailed and all of the information for each food. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the food tracker needs improved. It would be better if all foods were listed on one page either alphabetical or in categories but easy to see together on one page. Some common foods are missing and need to be added as standard - for example, peanuts. Also, it would be nice if it would show a count of how many foods have been tried to date. I pay for this app specifically for the tracker but it’s leaving a lot of be desired so I may be switching to another app. I hope they can take my advice and make so much needed updates because with some changes this is hands down the best app!
One device only
I hate that I can’t use my paid membership in other devices. Using family share is not an option because is too much personal information to be shared with caregiver.
Multiple Children
I love this app but it is frustrating when I have two children that I am using it for - the checklist doesn’t really work for us as one will try something and the other won’t. Would be great if you could make “profiles” so each child could have their own list/notes
Amazing!
Love the free version, so great we used it for more than one kid!
Recently not working
It was amazing up until all I saw was a black white page I can't even contact support bc all I see is a white page 😩
Great app so far!
I started using this app to help keep track of what I feed my 6 month old twins. The concept and layout is great! So far it is organized in a way that works better for me than the solid starts app. I apologize if this has already been address but I use an iPhone 14 mini and the font is SO small on this app. I’m squinting to read it. Any feedback how I can adjust it to be larger? Thanks!
Not impressed
The app is great…when it works. I paid for the subscription and love all the recipes but majority of the time I cannot access them as the app won’t load, or crashes. I am constantly having to close it and reload it.
It’s alright
Paid for the app, thought it would be better once I purchased it. I find that there are a lot of foods not in the system when I search on how to prepare or serve to baby.
Easy & stress free meals!
User friendly app that makes it easy to find simple and healthy meal options. A stress reliever for sure!!!
App won’t even open!
I have an IPhone 14 Pro Max and after reading all the great reviews I was excited to try this app for my son. But the app will not even open for me to try to use the app. Highly Disappointed!
Takes Forever to Open
I love this app aand always use it whenever Inprepare food for my baby but it takes more than 5 minutes before it opens. I’m stuck in “You are awesome” everytime 🤷🏻♀️ No hate, I just want somebody to help me get this app to open faster if there’s anything I can do on my part?
I love it!
So much better than other apps, it’s only $5 a month for the upgrade, unlike other apps that I’ve seen at $20 a month! It has so many suggestions which actually helps me plan out my groceries for the week for these meals. I love that I can put my own notes too.
Most receipts contain baking soda which is not good for baby
Most receipts contain baking soda which is not good for baby.also when I change to iPhone 14, the app could not open, waste my subscription.
Great idea
I like this app, it’s so easy to plan what to feed my baby for the week. I’d like to see an option to provide feedback on the recipes.
Highly Recommend!
I’ve been using this app for 2 months with my little one and it has been so incredibly helpful!! Having all the information in one spot is convenient and I can make food for him with confidence.
You need a subscription to do anything
95% of this app is inaccessible without the subscription. Granted it’s not expensive, but it’s frustrating that basic features are locked and that it’s notes as a “free” app.
Best app for grandparents
I use this app when taking care of the grandchildren! Especially when it comes to introducing new meals instead of the normal macaroni and cheese they want. Awesome, keep it up.
Super helpful
I’ve loved using this app - it just takes the mental load off on what I should serve when and how. They provide so many easy recipes and have videos on how to prepare foods.
Recipes
Loved the recipes really helped me map out the day and meal prep!!!
Best evidence based app for parents
I have no words to explain how amazing this app is. It’s hands-down the most comprehensive, current nutrition app out there, with an incredible team of dietitians behind it. I just wish more people had access to all the info it offers!!
