I booked an event with the tickets that went through Tao and I never received any reward points so this app to be is meh.

They make you download this app to get on the guest list. You wait an hour to get in only to tell you that they feel like charging. So it’s $100 to get into their club. What a scam.

If you buy event tickets through Tao they force you to install the app, there's no other way to get the tickets - no email or website path. I don't want it but I was forced to install it, register, provide my phone number and personal data. Not cool.

Tickets Never Sent / Horrible Support Service
I bought tickets around 6 PM and still haven’t received them and brought this up to support’s attention where I get the generic response that this issue is resolvable on my end however, even following their instructions and following up with them, it is now 10 PM and my event starts at 11 PM and I no tickets still. Support does not respond with anything further than their initial generic response.

Watch out for guest list trickiness in this app. They’ll tell you “Free until…” but then your pass will magically change to “First 200 free” right after the club opens. When you’re already in line and ready to party, you’re asked to pay double what the price of the ticket would have been if you had just paid for it ahead of time. Suckas!!!!
