Mizu helps you manage your chronic kidney disease (CKD) with a vital parameters logbook, kidney-specific food diary, medication tracking, educational resources and travel dialysis finder.
You can use the app in early-stage of CKD, undergoing regular dialysis treatment as well as living with a functioning kidney transplant.
Mizu was developed in close collaboration with leading nephrologists, university hospitals, patients and caregivers. We have ongoing partnerships with several patient associations and support networks, as well as medical research institutions.

Intended Purpose
Mizu helps patients suffering from different stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease, or kidney transplant recipients to calculate their BMI. The application supports patients in understanding the importance of their current body composition based on their disease stage by:
Providing a BMI calculator (calculation of BMI based on height and weight input)
Educating patients on proposed target corridors for their current disease stage
Improving self-management by helping patients understand what they can do themselves to optimize their personal BMI based on calculated values.
