Finalmente chat via BLE e via Internet decentrato in un unico posto!!
requires Bluetooth to work
and if you do not enable Bluetooth for the app, it will terrorize with a request to do so you on each app startup.
Looks promising
This app looks really cool and promising! I stumbled across this when I was reading about a similar app today. I would love to know if this is still under development and what the latest is on any plans to do a security audit. Thanks!
Trash
Sent one message. Went through. Reply never came through. New messages never worked. One and done. Boooo. Deleting
Android + iPhone.
Works offline
Please add dark mode
Inutilizzabile
Slightly buggy app with a lot of potential
Just tested this on an old iPhone with no cell service - disconnected from the WiFi network. Messages send 100%. There are some issues where messages might not send if the device is in sleep mode. Or it might say “sending” even if the recipient got it. But looking forward to future progress. I love that its still being updated. I’m following on GitHub. Thanks!
Can’t open
I can’t open it
App need more love
Eventually somehow works. There’s few issues ~Notifications came, but in app is NOT shown sometimes (1) red circle 🔴- for new/unread messages. Also App needs restart whenever new msg comes - notification is clearly visible (text), but when app is on background- message is not visible under contact. Once you close/open it - it’s there..
Government Agencies DO NOT WANT YOU USING THIS APP..I’ll explain why…
I’m currently the subject of a state sanctioned “overt” surveillance operation orchestrated by the Australian Government. Without detailing too much, it’s a Psy-Op done unlawfully, designed to destroy an individual. Evil and beyond belief of most. I’ve since discovered that of all the applications; and I’ve tried them all, from the McDonalds variety, such as Telegram, Signal, and alike, to the more obscure, and I can honestly state that THIS MESSAGING APPLICATION WAS; and still is, the ONLY MESSAGING APPLICATION THAT STATE SANCTIONED ELECTRONIC EAVESDROPPING SEEKS TO HINDER ACCESS WHILST INSTALLED ON iOS DEVICES. Check out on Facebook @ “LilKim SupremeLeader”. From UAV/Drone footage to the deployment of IMSI catchers (cloned cell towers). They have disabled VPNs, including applications such as Orbot, TOR, ect., and yes, they’ve disabled iOS passcodes, intercept and redirect telephone calls, entire network access; albeit illegally, and even rendered the use of apps such as Signal, entirely useless. And while I’m still unable to even use Berty on any iOS devices; such hindrance tells me one thing… it scares them, because it’s the one above all else that they’re unable to infiltrate. Well, as far as the unlawfully implemented Australian Government monkeys and hired snitches are concerned… and thus it’s a 5 outta 5 stars and a big double thumbs up from me in Hampton Melbourne… 👍👍

Magnifica
Crashes too often
Buggy and crashes a lot
Must be awesome app
Guys, don’t stop improving your application!!!! Great app and awesome solution you doing!!
Cannot send message
I cannot send the message if my friend does not open the app. Funny!
Open link in app doesn't work then froze sending message
Only connected after pointing phone camera at barcode on another phone- sending link didn't work. Froze up sending the second message so not usable. No photo or file sending- typing only.
Very Hopeful for this FOSS Project
Love the app and the capabilities. Still in development and definitely needs some TLC. Very thankful for a non-profit like Berty Tech.
Have to open the app in both side
You and your friend have to open the app to send and receive messages. Otherwise, you cannot send the message. It’s like a joke 🤣

Suggestions
Hey there, why I can’t delete any message !? also dark theme is a good idea for this app. Last thing is : I couldn’t send any pictures or voice over Tor network. Thanks anyway.
Amazing work
Berty is an amazing app,, the community is awesome and the team is very nice, friendly and helpful. They really appreciate when you help and they do their best to help back. And ofcourse we can’t forget how important the privacy aspect of berty is,, really awesome
Three dots!!!
When I open it, it just shows three dots
Hangs
This new build fails to start at all. The prev version would, I think, start ipfs local at that point. Sorry but made to have a Google account/git hub is making a mockery of the privacy claims.
setup finish
