What people like
- Easy to use interface
- Good company quality standards
- Helps you earn some money
What they complain about
- App keeps crashing and freezing
- Login issues and invalid credentials
- Tasks show but never load
- You get approved but no work
I entered a bad review before due to not understanding the process.
I completed a task and there is no sign of it on my profile or my hours, well that was my fault for not reading the entire process of checking for quality work. Appen doesn’t accept low quality work and I respect that about the company. They take the time to check for quality in the work you submit and that takes. So while you’re waiting, dive into another project. Great company so far and I will continue to work projects for Appen.
Worst app ever
I don’t understand what is going on with this app. You can’t even get compensated for a project because of the app is not working properly so that you can get compensated. I feel like this is not fair. Customer service is not doing enough so I couldn’t get compensated for the Study smh
Appen app
I just start already bad first only thing I want is the pin for me to start
Projects
Have applied for projects and never sent a pin to work them. Very discouraging.
Good platform to work
Appen is a good platform to work. I have been working through the desktop. I had logged into the IOS app also. But since a few days I am not able to login to my app. It gives me “Invalid Credentials” though I login with the same credentials which I use on my PC. Please help.
App crashes over and over
Horrible I got a project and have plenty of storage and cleared all my cache and data and the app crashed 15 times trying to capture videos
Audio fix
Cannot play audio on app please fix
Can’t submit project
I’ve been thinking to submit a task for over 2 weeks now but, the icon for submission is not showing on the app and the task specifically requires the project be submitted through the app. Pls help
It works
Helps you to earn some money
Disappointed Disabled Senior
Where are the jobs? Nothing sends me an email as it stated. Oh well; as always, too good to be true.
Continuously crashing
The app keeps on crashing as I try to apply to any job post. Please fix this as soon as possible, thank you
It is very good 👍
I liked it. I was waiting for an app from appen. As like other appen works, it is basic and clear. The app is easy to use and includes just what you need. 👍👍👍
Scam
Don’t sign up they will take your social and bank account and scam you. Appen is a scam look it up.
Submitting issues
I have filled all the details but they are showing something went wrong try again in few seconds What the hell is wrong with this app..
Áudio não sai
O vídeo para gravação não sai com áudio, prejudicando o andamento da tarefa.
Works just fine
Some projects mat require to terminate and strt a new session to continue working
Crowd Gen is a scam these days
Crowd Gen, used to be a W2 job training models, enhancing search algorithms. Long gone are those days. I opted to try Appen and a few other CrowdGen sites. Most of them pay to not be considered an outright scam, but it’s obvious these companies prey on the desperate and will exploit your free labor by having you do “tests” that is live work. If you work too fast also you’ll be kicked off projects.
Not working
I am supposed to read prompts and record it. But the prompts never show up. There is no way I can guess what I should record. And I don’t know who can I ask help from. Waste my time for all the applications and setting up all the accounts and apps.
More language option
It would be great if there’s more language options, I saw two types of Chin are included, when there’s a lot more. I’m Mizo Chin and would love it if it’s included.
SCAM
This is a scam thanks for wasting my time!!!
It won’t let me login. It keeps going back to the login page everytime I try to log in my account.
Bug
Não consigo abrir o aplicativo, ele fecha sozinho.
How is this site even running
Like every other review, I have been qualified for multiple projects for months now and have not received any instruction except for one (last week) that didnt even pay me, and was extremely confusing. I was supposed to be paid per “unit” but after completing one unit, they said they had no more work for me, and never paid me. I dont know how this company is not shut down yet. This whole site is extremely shady and literally provides you with no work or pay. Contacting customer support is like contacting unknown aliens. I am fully convinced this is a money laundering operation or something, because all the reviews are the same. No one is getting jobs or getting paid. I highly recommend to stay away from this site. I gave them all my information for literally nothing and they’re probably selling it or using it maliciously. Please be cautious.
what is going on
Like everyone else on the reviews, the program itself is very chaotic and confusing. I get emailed repeatedly over the same projects, telling me to apply. And then it never materializes into anything. Then I get more emails telling me there’s a new project and to apply…but it’s the same old projects I’m already applied to and in a pending status with. I also am constantly asked to choose some sort of Chinese interface or data collection situation, what is that?? I finally got accepted into a project and barely knew I did, the conditions/pay didn’t make sense to me. Because it’s saying $X for *the* submission, but it’s supposed to be multiple submissions. I’ve never dealt with something so confusing in my life and I’m a master at computers, software, apps, etc
Super Project Data collector
This is an update on if you should do this task. For the reviews I don’t have much hope I’ll do one task and see if they pay like they said and go from there. Will see if the company honors its word.
What’s the point
This app is worthless. The entire platform is glitchy but that won’t be a problem bc you’ll test for projects then wait weeks upon weeks for an email that will never come. Or my favorite is how their will be available jobs but when you click “work this” it’ll say in bold letters on the next page “sorry there are no tasks here to work!” However the available jobs will stay on the page for days. It’s a joke, seriously.
No projects
You will be approved for projects and they claim you can work on them but you will never receive an email sending Pins or links to be able to directly access the projects. When asked they will say that the target demographic has been reached already- then why did I get approved for the project if it’s full? I would assume it would reject my application not accept and approve me stating I can now work the project I just need to access the email that I was never sent. You will also apply for multiple projects and won’t get accepted or rejected for any of them, they will remain in a pending status for months. I have not been able to see any other offers as I have applied to all the ones available for me so there are no more for me to apply to. I figured this would be a good way to make some money on the side however it only would be good if you could actually work anything. Customer service was fast at responding to me and polite when I mentioned the issue at hand which was really nice but the issues I have still stand.
Alguns projetos não funcionam
Apliquei para o projeto Burbank e não aparece o menu das categorias para fazer o upload das fotos.
Disappointed
I signed up for this over a year ago, possibly longer. Every time I tried to sign up for a job I would get accepted and that’s as far as it would go. I never received any of the follow up to proceed. After a few months of this I stopped applying. Fast forward to now. I decided to give it another go to see if they have improved. I download the app again and login only to have it crash on me every time I try to apply for a job. It worked for one or two jobs and then just crashes now. While I was filling out the paperwork again it kept resetting on me, voiding all of my answers and making me have to start over. It is all very frustrating and disappointing as I was looking forward to participating.
Não paga muito
Já fiz alguns trabalhos mas não ganhei muita coisa
Horrible
Doesn’t show any projects for me
Can’t apply, not working
This app does not work. You can see the tasks and read the descriptions. But when you try to apply, it won’t load. None of them.
