Perfect Partner as a New Parent
The Pathfinder Health app has been a lifesaver for me as a new parent. The milestone features alleviates so much of my stress and concern about my child’s development. As someone without much external guidance from people in my life, this app has been so helpful as I am learning how to navigate new problems by not only teaching me new information but also providing quality guidance through activities and easy to read blogs. I recently invested in the premium version of the app, and the updates have have been worth every cent. The interface is easy to navigate and the milestone surveries/ progress checks are quick and easy, especially after a long day at work. Overall, this app is very usable and has been an amazing partner in my new journey with my baby.
Not opening
App doesn’t even open anymore. Used to be amazing.
Not working, ignored
When I first got this app it was amazing. I paid for a year subscription. But the past few months, every time I try to log milestones it tells me something went wrong and the app crashes. I have reached out for a support several times and have not heard back. This app has great potential, I just wish I could use it for what it is intended for, and what I paid for.
Please fix bugs!
I love this app, when I can get past the first pop up page on startup (after entering my pin). It just freezes and gets stuck and I can’t use it. Super frustrating.
Useful tool to track development
The Pathfinder App is has a variety of features and overall has a very user friendly design. From tracking milestones to journaling, the app really has thought of everything. I had a great experience with the app and would definitely recommend it to others!
Never loads
This app is phenomenal….when it works which lately, is never. I have tried opening it daily for a week and it never gets past the baby on the skateboard (loading symbol when you open it). I’ve uninstalled it and it still doesn’t work. Very disappointing
App crash
Worked great until about 2 months ago where I can no longer access the milestones keeps crashing have emailed a few times and reported an issues to never hear back
App errors
The app was good until an update. Now, though I’ve marked what my baby has completed, it’s saying they haven’t. So using a different app now
Amazing insights into my baby’s development, giving me Peace of Mind
The Pathfinder Health app has been my constant companion throughout the first year of my daughter’s life, teaching me about things I never knew were clinically important. It’s fun to know that Milestones like banging 2 objects together and picking up a cheerio just as important as baby’s first steps. It also give tips and hints on how I can help my daughter achieve her next milestone. Sharing these insights with my pediatrician has been icing on the cake. I’d highly recommend this app for any parent seeking to better understand their child’s development, has a concern or simply wants to see their child thrive. Five stars all the way!!
won’t load ever
what a useless app. I made an account and have tried closing and reopening and relogging in multiple times and it just gives me a forever loading screen
App crashes
App always crashes when I want to use Milestones tab.
Mediocre
As someone who has worked with young children for most of my life/career, this seems like a very vague assessment. Toddlers have emotions, which ARE normal and this assessment doesn’t take that into consideration. If you are selecting “not at all” for certain questions regarding behavior then I would be more concerned than if you selected “sometimes.” No reaction, is more concerning than an appropriate reaction based on age, emotion, situation. I also understand this is a starting point for parents to get their questions and concerns flagged to address with their pediatrician, so I do see value there. I am hopeful this app reaches those parents that are less knowledgeable on child development. I can tell this app is being promoted by paid influencers on social media who are not qualified to promote this. I am not impressed so far, but I am willing to give it more time and hopefully you will revise some of these issues.
Fantastic app for tracking my toddler’s milestones
I’ve been using Pathfinder almost since my toddler was born over two years ago. Pathfinder has helped me keep track of her developmental milestones and has also alerted me when she has been either ahead of or behind a typical schedule for child development. You can tell that the Pathfinder team applies rigorous scientific and medical standards to their product. I highly recommend this app to any new parent!
Can’t use??
Literally can’t use the app anymore. Just never loads. Tried deleting and reinstalling and same thing. Why am I even paying for this??
Get rid of the dancing baby screen
I decided to try this app when it was promoted by an influencer. It looked interesting. In reality, it’s very annoying. The dancing baby on the loading screen shows up what feels like every other click. I can’t even check off the milestones down the list without the dancing baby loading screen showing up between each one. Eventually, it just got stuck on the dancing baby screen. The graphics are nice, but in my opinion there are better, more user-friendly apps out there.
Very helpful
I started using the app to keep track of my son’s developments a couple months ago. It is very user friendly and informative. It comes with screenings for different ages and lots of useful guidances/ tips for parents. Highly recommended! Especially for the first-time parents.
Doesn’t even work
I bought the year subscription and got to use it for like 5 months or less before half the app stopped working and now it doesn’t even let me open the app at all. No one from support ever got back to my several inquiries, they just took my money and ran apparently.

Wrong open or load anymore
I used this app from the time my baby was born for 18 months until 2 months ago and now the app won’t finish loading to open. Just shows the loading screen. And I can’t redownload the app without losing all the data I have put in since my baby was born. This so was amazing at first, I could use it to monitor growth and develop and it would show where my child should be, then after about 9 months it limited my access unless I paid. That’s cool, disappointing but I will just monitor less stuff. Note I can’t do anything. Thank goodness I didn’t pay anything!
Super useful
I love this new version. The old version felt like an app from 2000s. It looks better now and it’s so much more useful too. I love the articles already categorized by age group. Then there are so many awesome activities and it tells me how often do it and how long it can take. Like I can totally do a few activities with my son while I’m waiting to get the oil change. Give me more!!

Great tool for parents of young kids
This is a beautifully designed app, and I find it very useful to track milestones for my young children. I’ve replaced the traditional baby book with this app. It helps me to take the worry out of if my children are learning and growing on schedule. If something is identified on this app that seems off in my child’s development, I’d feel comfortable taking my concerns to my pediatrician and discussing further. It’s a great way to identify potential issues. I also have found all the articles and activities on the app very valuable. This is a great tool for parents.
App doesn’t open
I used this app with my first child two years ago and it was very helpful and I liked the examples of activities to do with child development age. However, now I can’t get past the initial loading page with the skateboarding baby. I would love to use with my baby now. Please fix this bug!
Ingenious Method To Track Child Development
There are several of these apps available today, that can help digitally record your child’s development. I think where Pathfinder is really setting a new direction is in the aggregation of data on a linear and real-time basis. The end result is that you’re getting a very through cross section of a child’s behavioral development incorporating multiple data points form multiple perspectives. Versus getting feedback from a pediatrician or some other medical professional at a single point in time. The key to effectively using this app is getting all stakeholders (doctors, teachers, babysitters, etc.) in your child’s sphere of influence to adopt this app as an additional method to record key behavioral milestones in your childs development. Aggregating this data will absolutely help parents and doctors to identify child development challenges, and potentially introduce effective interventions on a much earlier timeline. But as I said, key is getting stakeholders other than parents to adopt the use of this app as well.

Highly Recommended Child Development App!
This app is a great tool that allows you to track your child’s developmental progress and interact with physicians who supply you with advice based on your child’s specific needs and situation. It gives you great peace of mind all from the comforts of your own home which is a big deal during these times. Highly Recommended!!
