First time ever using this app, but it is so good. I can literally keep track of my dog honey so well it helps me raise her cause she’s just a little puppy so it’s really helping me out. I’ve been able to keep her from having party accidents in in my house for a at least a week now it is so nice and I give it a five star review because that’s how well it is.
Subscription not included in description
App requires subscription in order to use all features of the app. Subscription was not mentioned in the description of the app. 1 star rating for lack of transparency.
Needs to work offline
That’s the only thing missing
cool app but no support for exotic pets
I have a gecko and would love to use this app but it seems to only be for dogs and cats. please open it up to other animals!

Die Benutzung ist einfach und intuitiv. Allerdings erfolgen bereits gelöschte auch weiterhin und das ist nervig .
Pretty good 🐾🐶
It is a good app other than the paying I got this app thinking it would be so good cause I have a dog and I wanna track all their stuff. But when I realized I couldn’t do all this stuff without pain I was pretty sad, but I could still do most things, but I can’t do the good things that I wanted to do. I think they should put the paying prices down. Because it’s like 49.99 every month and who wants to be paying that just for a dog app. but I do recommend it.
Better Options Available
I suggest everyone take the time to search for an app called “FurPal” by Ryan Rook. It’s a great alternative to this app and I personally like it a lot better. It’s set up like the Apple Health app only it’s focused on your dog’s health. It’s also a one-time purchase and NOT a subscription.
Setting up is a pain for two puppies.
Sorting out reminders makes no sense. Need the ability to add more than one dog to each event reminder or the ability to copy an event reminder to other dogs. Took all night to set up two puppies in the app. Finding some bugs. Like logging walk manually after the fact. The controls to edit date and time do not do anything when clicked (iPhone 16 Pro Max). They just turn the field blue. Can’t change the values. Restarting the app fixed this issue.
The best
Great for all pet owners.
Fun app
I wish there was the ability to see a map of the runs so I could have my dog sitter use DogNote. Also, how do I account for my dog running off leash a bunch on our walks? Still a lot of UX improvement opportunities but otherwise a nice app.
Dog Mom
Love this app. I can coordinate everything in one place. Thank you. Only one problem. I took out a couple of reminders I had set up. Yet, the app is still sending me and my husband reminders twice a day. How can I stop this? I removed the entire reminder. Thank you for a great product.
Not loving it
So I downloaded this app and you get most of the functionality free, which is great. You don’t have access to a calendar or reports unless you subscribe. I subscribed for one month and so far I’m not impressed. I set scheduled reminders to start in April- when we get a new puppy. However, I’m already getting those reminders today. You can’t set a reminder for multiple pets. I have to set a reminder for each dog individually and each cat individually or just pick one of them and pretend it’s all of them. I can’t just say “feed dogs” or “feed pet A, B and C”. Also the reminders are just that, reminders. They aren’t tasks. There’s no checkbox for you to click once it’s done. You have to go and manually create an event saying “I fed dogs A, B and C” as an event. It’s nice that it’s a shared app across multiple users. So if my husband goes in and creates an event saying he fed the dogs then I know not to feed them. But I also know he’s not going to want to do more than a check box. So it is limiting. Will update if anything changes.
Great app but apple watch event shortcuts is broken
Been trying to reach out to support but not getting a response Update 3/31/25: still broken, uninstalled app multiple times from phone and watch, clicked force events sync and still says “no event shortcuts” on apple watch
grate app nothing wrong with it
it is amazing
Too much personal info tracking
After a brief trial I decided not to use this app because of the exorbitant personal info tracking it lists on the App Store. These invasive privacy practices are unacceptable.
Not bad
It is pretty good I love it
Not working at all
When I first created my account the app wanted me to add a pet, so I try to click on “add pet” and it does not work. I keep clicked on that button and it does nothing. I even went to setting and looked to see if anything was wrong, but nothing was wrong. This app would be great if it would just let me add a pet.🫤🫥
Would have loved it but…
I used to use the journal app provided by Blue Buffalo, but they merged with a different app and it became useless. It took me forever to find an app with the same set up, which was this app. I wanted to love it so bad, but if you want more than one pet in your “family,” you have to pay a monthly or yearly fee. I understand paying for extra services or special access, but just to be able to include all of my pets? No thank you. Just wanted to give other people like me a heads up on that!
Simple and functional
Love this app. Partner and I needed something straightforward to keep track of who was doing what with our new dog. Would also work really well if we needed to add a dog sitter or walker. Other apps we tried had bells and whistles that we didn’t need or had the features that let us see the other’s activity locked behind a paywall. There are a few wishlist features that would be a cherry on top for me, such as the ability to multi-add items or start tracking a walk from my Apple Watch, but ultimately this is an excellent app for keeping track of pet care.
Nothing is included
Its really bad when you can't even add TWO pets unless you upgrade and pay 49 skr (5$) a month. You should really have this as a pay app from the start..
Good so far
App seems to be good, simple, not as much detail as I would hope. Unfortunate that to get more features you have to subscribe, in my opinion, over priced for what the app is.
Won't work
Looks like a useful app, neat and well organized. Unfortunately it wasn't working for me. Wouldn't allow me to add any pets and kept freezing up on me.
Everything I Want
Been using this app for years! Love that there’s no ads and I can journal my dog’s activity.
This is the best app ever, but there is a problem
I love this app, but I have to get a trial to add more pets and I have at least five pets and the trial is way too expensive so I can only add one pet and all about it
This is a very good app
I’m taking care of 4 dogs and this app is very helpful to remind me when to do take care of them it is also very helpful for other things too I recommend this app for for all dog owners.
Will you please do that ⬇️
A picture of the animal does what you say
Easy to use, so practical
Been using DogNote for probably over a year now. Started as a way for my partner and I to simply track who took our pup out last. It’s turned into an app I can’t live without! Easy to set-up and easy to add custom events/tags.
Pretty good so far
So far I like this app. I had been using a different app and it has gotten very slow and pushing a very very expensive subscription. This app is free, no ads, and is fast, easy entry. I like that you can easily add your own emoticons for events, although not all of them work. Not a big deal. I hope they can provide ability to filter events for the statistics graph, or even a data export option.
Obsessed! Necessity for multiple caregivers
i absolutely love this app!!! it’s been a complete game changer for managing my dog’s care, especially since because i work long hours & she has a daily routine, i have multiple walkers and sitters rotating. having one shared place where everyone can see when she last ate, went potty, or had a walk makes everything so smooth. whoever is with her always knows what to expect just by looking at her previous logged events without needing to text or guess, which takes so much stress off of me. i also love the reminder system; being able to set reminders for everyone or only specific people is super helpful, and the fact that each person can choose to turn off notifications on their end is perfect for walkers who don’t need constant alerts. the customization and analytics are another huge plus, i love being able to track patterns and stay on top of her routine. and the fact that you can log events while a walk is still in progress without stopping the timer is such a thoughtful feature! my only wish is that the app supported video uploads, but aside from that, it’s honestly amazing and exactly what i needed.
Love doggy note
I love doggy note is so helpful to me because I know when too change the water or take him for a walk is so nice guys try it out
