Great Calendars
I always have Ermine calendars on my iPad and iPhone because they are more customizable and help me read more easily. They fact that you can customize these calendars with different colors help my poor vision and improve the accessibility features otherwise missing in the IOS platform
Could use a couple fixes but that’s it
I’ve been using Ermine for a few years now & I love it! I customize the color based on my wallpaper, & I like how it shows my events as well as an overview! My complaint is that scrolling through events at the bottom sometimes makes the entire screen freeze until I click on another day.
Love it but
The double calendar widget should have some buttons to let you scroll through other months without opening the app
Needs a bug fix
Lately the date isn’t updating and I have to uninstall and reinstall the widget for it to update 😭 so sad bc I looove this app, i’ve been using it for so long and I can’t find another calendar widget app that does what I want. but I think i’m going to have to find a new app now. I hope they fix this issue because otherwise this is the perfect calendar widget app
I really loved this until it deleted my calendar 6 times in three months
This app is great aesthetically. Easy to use and has simple customizations. HOWEVER, I don’t know why but for some reason in the past three months, I’ve had my calendar completely wiped six times. I’ve used this app for two years and had no problems, even recommended it to friends. Never had this happen before now. Once, okay I get it maybe I messed up and so I fixed all my settings so it’s all synced and backed up. Twice, I thought was odd but chalked it up to an iPhone update gone awry even though my settings were set to sync. HOWEVER SIX TIMES????? Insane. The app support/help page is a JOKE. They just ask you to resync your calendar? ITS BEEN SYNCED. There is no reason why my calendar just decided to end itself six times over the period of three months. This has pushed me to look at other calendar apps because some of these appointments were set months ahead of time and I have cannot remember them now, no thanks to this app. Sure it’s pretty, but it’s empty, just like my calendar.
Widget never refreshes
The multi-month widget view never refreshes/updates the date. I have to constantly “edit” the widget, pretend to add it again and then it updates the date. It’s becoming a pain bc I can’t really trust what the widget is showing me. Anything I can try or is this a known issue? iPhone 15 Pro iOS 18.7.1 (22H31)
So far I love it!
I’ve been using the fitness apps Hops and Standland for years and I was looking at the other apps they have, saw this one. So far I am loving it! The main reason I am so excited about this app is first, it is so easy for me to look at my monthly appts all at once and that includes PAST appts!! I was searching forever on how to restore my dates/appts on iCal and frustrated gave up and what’s this…? It’s on my Ermine calendar app!! All of it!! Without even doing any searching!!! Love the color options, syncing all of my calendars at once and again, my past appts/dates. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 😊
Great for aesthetics; few details would make it even better
I love this app for the aesthetics - being able to customize the colors & widgets is a dream, haven’t found any other calendar app that does that this good. I do wish though for a few practical additions - if you could see the colors around events rather than just text, it would be a lot easier to know what’s going on at a glance. Also I’d love to be able to set custom event defaults, it’s annoying to have to re-enter work shifts every week, I wish I could pre-save defaults. These downsides might make me eventually switch to another app just for practicality purposes, but for aesthetics this app has everyone beat❤️
Great app one problem
This app is great on the way it connects to your calendar and can edit your calendar on the app. My issue is we need to be able to add more events on the photo widget. Only showing one event is frustrating when the color one allows multiple events as well as showing the calendar itself. If you could allow the photo widget to show the full calendar as well as multiple events it would be a much better calendar widget app.
Prefer over Google
Very good calendar. Simple to use and understand. No complications. I particularly like the fact that it doesn’t have a bunch of ridiculous non official dates and holidays.
Worked until it didn’t
I loved this app for multiple years and depended on it as my calendar for EVERYTHING. Until all of a sudden all of my events completely disappeared. There is no update that I missed or any button that I would have clicked in the app. Do not depend on this app to keep your important life schedule in.
Sync with google clanedar
Great app, very cute for my phone but should be able to sync with google calendar.
Cute private calendar 🤍
I was using iOS Calendar and Simple Calendar side by side. This was because iOS Calendar offers the yearly view while Simple Calendar offers monthly view with highlighted events based on my color preference. If Ermine can provide these features and offer event reminders and more customizable repetition (such as every 5 days, etc), I will 100% switch over. As a bonus, Ermine does not collect data which is hard to come by when looking for apps nowadays. You can change the app icon, too. All I did was tip the developers which I believe they deserve anyways. The Ermine Pro offers customization regarding Widgets, not necessarily your in-app experience.
Constantly wiping calendar picks
Recently, it started unchecking my synced calendars, making my widgets blank. Not really sure what to do about it, but before that started happening, it was a really great app.

Almost perfect
Great at a glance calendar widget, just wish it had the ability to add week numbers
Love the app minus one thing
I absolutely love this app. The interface is easy and it syncs to my existing calendar. The widgets are great. Minus one thing. I wish I could add a background photo to the two week calendar layout widget. I like to see what is going on each day and the calendar layout is perfect, but you can only have that in black or white. The option to customize doesnt have the full two week calendar layout and only shows dates and dots. Would be 5 stars if this was a possibility.
Fav Calendar App!
Absolutely love the look & functionality! :)
widget broken; not showing right date
it’s now Feb 5 and yet the widget still shows Jan 31 with no way to fix it….
Ehh could use some tips,
You should have a a screen like the other apps that says the date and there would be a cute buddy next to the date and there should be a game oh, three screen should be on the widget too and you can customize your buddy and buy stuff with coins from winning the game but you could also go back into the calendar
Only calendar widget that allows you to customize background
I only use this for the widget, I’m not crazy about the actual calendar app portion…I prefer day or week views as opposed to monthly. However, I love that I can set the widget to match the rest of my theme. My biggest issue is that I can only have 1 of each event type on the widget (holiday, all-day, timed), it would be great if you had the ability to chose how many you wanted shown.
Organization
Love the different colors
Calendar wrong
Calendar is wrong. Dates are on the wrong days of the week. Horrible app.
Full month AND details!
This is my ideal calendar app. I need to see my whole month to plan ahead, but also see daily details at the same time, just lower on the screen. It’s ✨almost exactly✨ what I was looking for, it just needs an alert button. Maybe a desktop version is in the works too?
No alerts or notifications?
Really love this app and the widget layout it provides. It’s something that apple calendar doesn’t have. However, when are we going to be able to receive notifications, creators? One huge thing I love about Apple Maps is event reminders and to be able to set an alert when something is coming up. I feel that’s the whole purpose of utilizing a calendar, especially for those of us who are busy. Unfortunately I still have to use apple calendar for that. Please add this in the next update!
My Favourite Calendar
Better than the native iOS calendar, and customizable, so that it is aesthetic on my Home Screen!
Bug
App updated and now my widget is just a blank field with no calendar on it
Looks good- lacks functionality
I think it looks great. Would be awesome if you could indicate events by changing the color of the date, instead of just seeing a small white dot under the day of the month. I also wish they made a larger widget that displayed a small synopsis of daily events.
Not pleased
I use to be entirely dependent on this app and the update honestly ruined the functionality, we have to use a plus and minus sign to change the time and we can’t even change it from pm to am without having to run thru the 24hrs.
I’m confused
The app itself is beautiful and easy to use. The reason I’m confused is because it won’t let me add stuff to the calendar. Am I not adding enough info or something? I was going to use the app to help me out with my adhd because I tend to forget simple things that should be done every day. It also didn’t look like most of the other calendar apps so in my mind it wouldn’t be as noticeable.
Simply the best
This is the only app that allows me to show a calendar widget with custom photos, making my home screen much more comfortable. Great variety of font designs and settings too. A suggestion: Can you add the ISO 8601 time format (YYYY-MM-DD) to the date line on the widget? It would be great.
Hate the Military time
I paid the 2.99 because I was so excited about all the options that it offered. I spent an hour fixing the calendar adding all my events and making my widget background my pet. Then today I see my event is in military time and I cannot find an option to change it. That is a deal breaker for me. I will take the 3.00 loss and find another calendar app unless I am told a way to change it. Because there are no instructions on that anywhere
Love it!
I love how you can change customize the calendar to your preference. I gave it 4 stars because all you can change appearance wise is the color. It would be nice to be able to change the fonts and formatting to your liking. Also, the red dot for the events is difficult to see when you change the color of the widget from black.
Was great but now widget is broken
The app itself is fine but the widget is now completely broken. First it was stuck showing the wrong date and now it’s just a blank black widget with nothing showing at all. It’s really a shame because I’ve been using this app/widget for almost a year now. Unfortunately I will have to find an alternative.
Needs notifications option
It’s cute and I really like the widget options but it really needs notifications. Then it would be perfect.
Love the app
Best calendar app and it doesnt collect any data on you! Can i request photo shuffle for widgets?? Or just ability to add multiple photos? Thank you!
Not what I was looking for
I should have reviewed the reviews and app more closely before jumping on the purchase to pro. Does not off the customizations or widget I hoped.
Great calendar widget
I really like using this over the default calendar app, due to how simple you can see the events when you click on a specific date. I would LOVE to see the ability to use your own photos for the background but other than that it’s good!
A waste
I chose this app for the privacy, but there's no way to view all the events--you can't do a day/week view. It's a shame because I can't find a privacy-friendly app that doesn't have the aesthetics of a concrete prison.
Pls add alerts
If it had alerts, this app will be perfect! Cute icon, minimalist intuitive design. Works well. The only thing missing for me is alerts. Right now I have to go back to Apple’s Calendar app to add alerts for important events. You can make it a Pro feature, which I think users would pay for.
