DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
For over 2 years now I’ve tried to use the app but no matter what phone or account I try it on, I’m always left waiting in an eternal loading screen that never grants me access to the app itself. Umatch support is also nonexistent: instagram, email, nothing works. The website doesn’t even have a support channel. Idk how they hire people to manage their individual college Instagram accounts but mine has seen every single one of my messages over a full month and has responded ONCE with “Have you tried reinstalling the app?” then never responded again.

Would give 0 if I could
This is the worst dating app I have ever seen. The design is bad and the system is horrible. Your no’s count as likes and it seems fake almost. NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS APP

Se vc for branco, vc ja sai ganhando nesse aplicativo, mas se vc for feio e ainda preto, nem perde seu tempo, aqui as mulheres são chatas pra curtir, e qnd curte não respondem vc, ao invés de estar neste app, vá investir em vc, faça uma academia, coloque ô shape, mude seu estilo, pois nesse app, se vai entrar feliz e sair triste no final

I don’t have the university email yet and so it says to input personal email instead, but then proceeds to say “email must be a student email.”
Still waiting
I’m still trying to use this app but it’s still hasn’t let me see ANY profiles, so I’m sitting waiting for the app to load and still nothing. It’s a great concept but a bummer the app doesn’t actually work. Tried on my phone and iPad and still nothing.
Muito distantes e problema na assinatura
O aplicativo parece não ter um limite no raio mostrando pessoas a 700 km ou mais. Outro problema que tive foi tentar assinar o plano de 6 meses e não ter acesso ao serviço (pedi estorno pra apple e felizmente consegui, senão, daria somente 3 estrelas)
Sem utilidade
Não é possível restringir por distância ou cidade, fazendo com que apareça pessoas aleatórias de todo o país. Perdeu totalmente a utilidade com isso!
Atualizações ruins
no inicio o app era bom, mas a cada atualização ta caindo o nivel, entrega cada vez menos, as atualizações estao cada vez piores, ta ficando bem ruim de usar, sinceramente

Seems like a scam
I got a follow from my university’s Umatch Instagram account saying that I had someone who liked me on their app. Problem is, I haven’t been to the university for over two years and no where on my profile does it say I go to the university. To create an account I had to either input my university email or my personal. I wasn’t going to use my university email so I tried my personal. It wouldn’t work. Seems like a scam.

A cada 10 pessoas que aparecem, 8 sao de 300 km de distância.. desanimador demais, ja foi muito melhor

Good UI, Bad Structure
I’m all for dating apps having minimal filters, but you can’t filter ANYTHING on here. You only get a handful of impressions per day (including skips) and when the app is recommending people from across the country, you don’t even end up liking anyone. I’m not a fan of dealbreaker height or body type filters, but you should at least be able to filter for distance.

THE INSTAGRAM IS A LIE
Me and my girlfriend both got followed by my college’s Umatch Instagram, so we were curious. Keep in mind, she does NOT go to the same college as me. Anyways, the instagram said if you are followed, it means someone has a crush on you and only “approved students” get followed. Why is this an issue? 1. My girlfriend doesn’t go to my college, so how is she an approved student? 2. How would someone “crush on me” if I don’t have an account? However, we were still curious. After both downloading the app to see who we should avoid at my college, there was no one in my “liked you” list, plus you have to pay to see names of people anyways. Cool idea, bad marketing. Fix your app and please just get a girlfriend through the real world big dawgs. Good luck finding your dudettes, dudes. Much love.
Need some improvement
Good app however few dislikes I see from other people also are saying there are no reason for people to buy stuff so they can unlock people not cool if you want people to download this app then cut the payment thing it would be great app if something gets your rating will keep go down because of this

You have to wait an entire day to get to swipe again after like 5 swipes, after you wait it glitches making you wait another day.. all to piss you off enough to pay for a 29 dollar a month subscription on an app for broke college students trying to make new connections.. Are we effin serious?

não dá pra fazer literalmente nada se não pagar, vc tem direito a 20 arrastes por dia e dps só pode voltar a usar 24 hrs a não ser que vc pague, um absurdo. nem o tinder é assim, ele dá uma quantidade maior, ainda mais pra estudantes que não tem como ficar pagando todo mês em aplicativo. melhorem isso.
Decent App: has room for improvement
Notes for improvement: Location Proximity variety would be awesome and easier for some us who don’t like traveling far and wide Age range, I think some of us would be okay with interacting with others around the same age group. The Age gap cane be awkward and bit concerning

Wish there was an option to only view people from your school, city, etc. You basically need to buy a subscription or in-app coins to do anything..why? Why are there limited swaps..like what? I’m basically paying to met people.

Cannot create new account
I downloaded the app Bc of being mentioned and followed by the Instagram page but unfortunately I cent even get past creating my account. It lets me type 3 letters before the whole screen freezes. I’ve tried everything except i Deleting the app. Hopefully this review will get me a answer for this issue
