Had promise…
I downloaded this today and it seemed like something that would be good for me. I explored it a bit and used up my five talks. I saw that I had to watch an ad to get five more talks. I watched two ads and a message popped up saying something like “reward granted”, but the message wasn’t clickable. I went into the game and confirmed that I didn’t get five talks. Thinking it might’ve just been a glitch, I watched two more ads and got the same message. I still didn’t get the talks. I’m not a fan of apps that require you to watch ads, but it was disappointing that the business model kept me from experiencing it fully. But, I guess that’s how life is and I guess that’s why there are apps like this about depression and hopelessness.

Depression buddy
This game got me through some really dark times. If you just can’t get up then maybe you can make him get up. It helps you appreciate the small stuff. It’s slow and simple. You’re able to earn money for him without purchase. Just doing little tasks around the house. It’s enough to keep you coming back to earn more so that he can complete a simple task that slowly helps him progress towards happiness. Calmly activating the reward system, if that makes sense. Try it. Maybe your sub-conscience will appreciate it.
Potential, but takes a long time to gain ways to help.
This game has so much potential. However, it takes a while before you could get hearts, or a raindrops to update the room or support the character. While you wait to earn hearts and raindrops, there’s virtually nothing else to do. So you’re forced to close the app and just try to wait until you can gain something. For constructive feedback, I would recommend integrating some games where you could earn hearts or raindrops, or even lower the cost of items to put in the room or food, milk, etc. I could see myself of liking this game, especially since I’ve deleted all Social media and I’m trying to find something to help with mental health. However, it just feels empty and like there’s nothing to do.

That game did not like me
It stalled and got stuck and the friendship level never started. After 3 months of playing more than 10 times a day and having to endure depressive thoughts way too much I deleted that. Please make your game rules clear so people know the game is broken and not waste their time when that happens. Having mystery game explanation only in English sucks. And don’t tell me some fixing steps because deleting the game we loose everything and I looked playthough and seriously It was a bug. I also have an up to date iPhone. Why did I even put energy in that for 3 months

i absolutely love this game, i used to play it all the time in high school and recently started over because i remembered it. however, i havent been able to watch ads to get my talks back to 5. and i am unsure what the time not being the same as the network is means.

I wanted to like this, but after 10 min I realized I can’t play this. I refuse to play a game with ads in it that you can’t even pay to get rid of permanently. It breaks the groove immediately. The ads only show up when u want more “talk points” or whatever, but u go thru your 5 talk points in LITERALLY, I kid you not, 7 seconds. And then it’s like “watch an ad to get more.” Not to mention that the ad served up by the ad network was SUPER friggin long. I couldn’t even get thru the whole thing. Not watching a 60 second long ad for another 7 seconds of talk points. I just don’t understand how anyone can tolerate playing a game this way. Maybe I’m just old and kids don’t know any better than ads and microtransactions, but with a game that’s meant to be heartfelt like this, it’s just a dealbreaker. Bummer. I wanted to like it.

Can’t open the app
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME—however—I can’t even open the app now. I don’t ever leave reviews on anything but I’m hoping leaving this one will help. I don’t want to get rid of it, I don’t want to give up on my buddy. Please help! I’ll change the review after something is done, but we will see.

Stagnation at Level 9 :(
The first few levels are very quiet, but wholesome. Sweet and creating empathy. Now at level 9 it's just boring. The advertising does not work. There are no more changes and tasks. You can't buy the items outside because you can't collect the necessary symbols. Or at least can't collect enough of it.

So when I got this game I didn’t know how deep it would actually go. I’ve been dealing with depression for the past few years, and this really lifted me up. I visit my little friend every single day, and will play the game for an hour straight sometimes just collecting things from the window. I love ordering food for them, talking to them, and I honestly love the slow game play. Life just moves too fast! If you’ve been dealing with depression, or just need someone to get you through the day, download this! It’s unlike any game I’ve ever seen, and it’s so addictive!! I love it so so much, and I can’t wait to see more games by these wonderful people!🤍🤍
It stopped giving me hearts!
So i did like this game in the beginning. It was a slow progression so you felt accomplishment when you were able to buy your little buddy food or unpack boxes. But I’ve been having a problem where the milk delivery DOESN’T GIVE ME THE HEARTS OR REWARDS! Im specifically angry about the hearts bc thats how you feed the little friend and unpack the boxes. I watched a video for double rewards on the milk delivery and was going to finally be able to unlock the next room but it gave me 4 hearts instead of 20 so i don’t know why the heck its doing that but its annoying and I’m about to uninstall this game which i really don’t wanna do.

I like this game but I’m a little confused
This game is super cute, the art and mechanics work really well however I’m at level zero of familiarity but my gauge of familiarity is full. It’s says to level up I need to reach level one and level two?? I don’t really understand what I’m supposed to do because they’re incredibly conflicting.

Update no good
Ever since the patch 3 days ago, I can’t start the game. It goes to the title screen, but before it enters the room, it shuts off. I haven’t been able to play since. And I had just gotten access to the downstairs so this is disappointing.
Deleted my progress
It was fun and I enjoyed playing it until it deleted all of progress months of playing with no warning and no explanation.

This is the best game for me and anyone who deals with stress or anxiety in life (and to be honest i thing everyone does and some of us just want to hide it which is okay but this game is also good for that!) This game is stress relieving and calming and kind of addictive…but in a good way. I love how calming it is but there is only one problem that I hope you can update in this game (like this specific one) where you can talk in it to your depressed friend and have conversations with them. Hope you can get the game and you enjoy it!

I've almost completely unlocked everything and have enjoyed the game so much, but I can't figure out how to unlock the last three recipes. It's been months. It's not a huge deal but it makes me feel so incomplete.

I have been struggling with my depression and came across this game. It’s slow progressing which makes it more real when it comes to helping and healing in real life, i enjoy this game alot. I hope the creator creates another game like this but more enhanced in details or something. Love it either way.

i’m so upset. I’ve had this game for well over a year and had made so much progress but needed up getting a new phone. when I downloaded all my other games my progress had saved but when I re-download this game, I had to completely restart. I ended up deleting it because I just don’t have the energy to redo the entire game from the beginning knowing I had made so much progress when I had it before. i’m really disappointed ☹️
Great game but radio ads won’t work
I’m really enjoying the concept of the game but it’s really slow to progress the gauge of familiarity as the radio ads won’t work for me. I have emailed the developer and awaiting a reply as would love to keep playing :)

I’m on level 6, I can go outside now so I’m absolutely enjoying the game but a little sad. Every time I talk to him he keeps saying “oh, you again. Hi” like he’s not pleased to see me:( Can you change it please. He suddenly started to be mean to me. Is it a language barrier thing? idk but change it please. That’s all.

Videos crashing frequently
I really like this game, but there are some issues. Very frustrating that the videos crash all the time! I have to quit the game and restart it, this solves the crashing temporarily. I have been playing this game for a few months now, I never see the paper, when I’m in the city, and I haven’t seen an event!

I’ve played this game for about a month now but I’ve already fallen in love with it. It’s so cute and even though it’s slow paced I find it to be addicting. I almost relate to the little guy and the game makes me feel calm. When I was having my depressive episode I downloaded it and I’ve grown attached to it since :).

I love this game with all my heart and have been playing it for a couple of months, it’s a great concept and the art is lovely. Only problem I have is it costs so many hearts to take a walk it’s super frustrating. I just wanna take care of my little guy but it takes so long to collect hearts! I would love for you to put it down to 5 hearts or something similar. Otherwise a great game and would defo recommend
