Looks amazing, awful control setups.
Fix. The. Controls. These are the most unresponsive control setups I’ve ever seen, nothing works as it should, deleting this and am not ever playing it again. I could not redo whatever tutorial there was. This game is not worth it if these issues are not fixed. Controls, proper tutorials, mechanics that work, like a tank not damaging me when it technically can’t hit me, that sorta thing.
Needs a bit more but good
Maybe add a few more, Magi and mechs and more weapons

Starts great, then gets boring
Starts great, love the engine, graphics and gameplay. I am now at era 5 and find myself questioning “what I am aiming to achieve here?” There is no multiplayer, no goal.. just climbing era’s for no reason. Game lacks purpose / competition.
Great gameplay
This game I came across by accident. I played it and was thrown off by how immersive everything is. The abilities for each character and the way each character is. What would top this off even more is if you added costumes for each character or added a vs play with your friends if possible. So far this game has me hooked 😆

What happened guys?
This first paragraph is so juicy! Post apocalyptic factions! I was so excited for a dark and gritty story that’s got layers and characters who actually do stuff. Sadly, that’s literally all the plot I have found… and it’s been hours of play now. I actually love these developers N.Y.Z is a scary and intense game with such a brilliant gripping story and perfectly delivered! Bug heroes has also a deep and rich story that kept me invested not just in the gamplay but I cared for my Spider assassin renegade. At some point you guys dropped the story and went all in on making grinder games. Again, not a criticism, I grind with the best of them when there’s some decent incentive and content. Knights and castles 2 had the urgency of the world map and although it got repetitive (nowhere near as bad as Nobelman, but still) updates and challenges kept it lively. Then there was War Tortures (autocorrect hit the nail on the head) and it’s pure battery draining tedium. Here we even see the same paragraph! Loosely recycled albeit. Post apocalyptic event…. So it goes. The games sure look prettier now, but who really cares if you just stand there and spout spells and spawn mechs until it’s over. There’s no strategy and very little difference between factions or even fighters past melee combat. Wish I could say more but this is just disappointing all over. I’ve a few in depth content ideas that would suit your style perfectly. Hear me out, what’s the worst that can happen?
Disappointing
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed many of Foursaken Media’s previous games, this just seems soulless. The gameplay is just mindless. The control is janky. While H&C2 may have had worse graphics, it’s the better game.
Fun for hours
This game has great graphics and gameplay. You don’t have to pay to win, but you might have more fun.

Super grindy and repetitive
I dont like that fact you have to grind all the heros to progress. It also makes it feel very micro managing having to upgrade everyone and everything. Just doesnt give me that fun previous games had.

Similar gameplay, but more polished, like a shiny new car. Immersive, smooth and freaking cool. Great leveling system, unique troops to summon. Thanks for allowing it to function (like your older games) without constant internet, because I travel and this works better for that. I support this by watching some ads, but I’ll gladly buy some upgrades in game too 🙂 Awesome work!

Please fix the buggies.
Love the game. Way fun! I play all the Foursaken Media games, including Block fortress and Block fortress War. This is just the latest in a legacy of fantastic games. Please fix the glitch where it crashes when you use to many powers at once, though. I am often almost at the end of an attack, sometimes mana storms as well, when I use a lot of powers to finish off the enemies, and then it will just go black and crash. It erases my progress and I have to try the attack again. Over all, though, amazing game.

I got this game a long time ago and I haven’t played it since but now I’ve downloaded the game again and it kept all my progress from when I first got it. If the developer is still paying attention to this game I would like to know how to reset everything. Other than that great game

When I first started playing the game. I instantly got with it. and never seen a good graphic mobile game like this. very good but also hard and strategy game.
Repetitive grind
After i found a bug that gives me unlimited resources (gold and premium in game cash), i was able to beat hundreds of levels. However it just has nothing new to offer. If you play the first 20 levels you have seen it all. What is the bug? Can’t tell you here. Hopefully i am not the only one knew about this.

Maps
This game is one of the best mobile games I have seen in a while in terms of it has a wide variety of weapons spells and so on. As well as being able to upgrade all these things. However the maps. Small maps and almost no maps. You need more maps. And you need to make sure they are good. Good and lots of maps are very important as you can get bored very quickly when playing on the same map over and over again. Please add more. (the maps costed you 2 stars, nothing else seems to be a problem)
Amazing game
NO FORCED ADS, i literally love this game so much because it gives you just enough stuff to play the game actually normally and its not one of thoughts pay to play or pay to win games
Very disappointed
This game is both crazy grind and expensive. First of all, there are 6 heros from 2 factions, each faction play different levels and have different currency. Yet each hero need to be independently upgraded (weapon, monster and level). There's around 20 paid skill for each hero that can only be obtained through gacha, and IS NOT SHARED. Its more like playing 6 account in parallel instead of having 6 heros. Furthermore, this makes maxing out heros nearly impossible. This game have a lot of areas that requires paying with little hero control (move or gun, not both). There is so many games like this with more fair price. I would suggest this: 1.Have the same "deck" level for all heros, with each "pull" giving 2 awaed, 1 for each faction. 2.Be able to select another hero as "backup" or summon card. So people have incentive to train multiple heros. 3. In the future, other than adding more card, add more heros to each faction. 4. add some sort of paid levels where you can select Any factions's card you like with fixed levels, call it something like "chaos" stages and write some story like aliens control Unit to attack both factions. 5. 4, but rogue

I love the game except the few times it freezes. I would like more customisation on the weapon as you can’t select the weapon you want.overall it is the third best game I have ever played.

My impression, ITS AMAZING!!!
This game is a very unique take on the rts genre, and I really think it’s cool. Having two playable factions, each with different strengths and weaknesses, is a very cool design. As a budding 40k fan, I really like the technology faction, as it reminds me of the mechanicus. Keep up the good work!
Controls Do Not Work
I would have liked to give this game a try. However, the download was riddled with bugs. First, I choose single hand control and the app would not load from that. Then, with two-handed control the app loaded. However, the attack on my base started and I was without defense or attack controls. When options for defending and attacking finally appeared, I could not properly choose a target. After being defeated in the battle (obviously) the app would never transition out of the “Defeat” window and locked up. I tried loading it several times and checking ways to get this app to work with no joy. I used the latest version of iPad Air with a ton of free memory space. This one was a big loser.
Really good game
Game is a solid play through either top down or sideways. They excelled In creating a fun and solid game you don’t need to spend money to beat. But the devs deserve it Cheers
Game concept is near perfect
All the makings of a great game are advanced progression across multiple systems to strengthen the characters, abilities, and weapons. The world building has potential to become something really interesting. I have followed these devs for a long time and played all their games for iOS so far. The problem is that all the potential this game has to be truly great isn’t being met due to all the time constructing the OTHER systems to add monetization to the game. It’s understandable to a degree, but the mechanics are actually anti-player. There’s a predatory factor to some of the games monetization practices in the form of loot boxes disguised as crafting. You need to pay real money for in game currency to pay for crafting materials which give you randomly generated gear. In addition, there are difficulty spikes that make it difficult to progress without a fair bit of grinding or the purchase of currency to help quicken progression. In addition, there’s a battle pass system, a daily login system (to promote habit forming) and basically some form of utilization of all the psychological manipulations that make up mobile monetization. And who could blame them? They need money just like anyone else. The problem is that they have such a good idea on their hands that if correctly implemented could make a truly great game. Their original works offered a paid purchase path that basically let you play the game without the other monetization theatrics. This and their prior title have taken the turn for heavier and more manipulative monetization strategies which I personally deplore. Still. The game is a lot of fun for the majority of the time and I highly recommend it to those who don’t mind supporting malicious monetization schemes that has become the staple of mobile gaming. Thanks FarmVille….

At first it’s boring, but grind and unlock spells. Then it gets very fun.

Another instant hit by Forsaken
Coming from a PC player that casually plays mobile games here and there this is an absolute labor of love. I first found Forsaken Studios when Noblemen launched and from there on they have been my #1 in mobile games. It has a very intriguing story line that’s easy to get into, streamlined gameplay and a good bit of strategy to go along with it. Just like every other game these guys have out Forsaken studios have managed to hit yet another homerun with Magic vs Metal.
Just terrible
Nothing else to say - went with two hand controls, just doesn’t work.
Good but disappointing
Have very mixed feelings about this. Firstly I am really glad to see this developer back, and to be fair, objectively speaking this is a decent game. The trouble is that it just looks like a dumbed down version (albeit with better graphics and a reimagined theme) of Heroes and Castles 2. Less diverse units, a cap on the number you can utilize, auto fire, no heavy attack or block, etc. It speaks to the profound quality of the original game that a dumbed down version some eight or so years later can still be seen as a decent game. However, I would have hoped that after such a hiatus that the first offering would be something more than this. I am loath to say this and to give a lukewarm review because Foursaken is truly a gem among developers; it is not lost on me that their games were always affordable to a fault and that they are mostly still playable even eight years later - they have been updated when many big developers haven’t bothered to do the same. But it’s disappointing to see that they might be scaling back on the ambition and quality of their games so as to cut costs. In my view the quality was never the problem, it was the lack of marketing and perhaps even a lack of greed, noting that I would have been glad to pay to buy the new characters in Heroes and Castles 2 or support it in other ways. In light of all this I will give it four stars although I think this is generous given that it’s arguably not much more than a reskin of a better game. I hope that the developer will take what I have said on board because I believe many other old fans would feel similarly
Loses its shine.
Firstly, let me say Forsaken Media are a top notch crew. Heroes and Castles 1 still remains my favourite ever game (please remaster and release again) number 2 was also good. Here they are again releasing an initially ‘good’ game that I was happy to spend a little money on. That being said there is absolutely no need to do so, and that is one of the things I like about this crew. So, why three stars? The game simply doesn’t evolve and just becomes v repetitive. Now, I’ve ‘only’ got to era 7… but I’m already thinking of not bothering anymore. The maps are bland, there is no terrain to use, and I don’t need to change my troop selection at any point to win a level. It really is a case of simply levelling up. There feels like there is zero skill or need to learn this game. H&C 1/2 were amazing examples of what FM can do, but this is way way below either. CONS No coop, no pvp, no map to navigate or conquer, no learning curve, no challenge. Arena mode is pointless, boring, repetitive and for the time, rewards are v poor. No leaderboards PROS Great looking game. Runs smooth. Great sounds. No need to spend although I did (they deserve it) FM. IF there is more to this game… I will rewrite my review. I will also continue to support your talent, but guys, the creativity, gameplay and longevity in this and war tortoise etc… come on, you can do much better.
