I like it but…
I like games like these. They are relaxing and fun without being hectic or heavily time consuming. My only problem is when starting off on building the first police station, it is taking forever to get things (money) to upgrade the different aspects of my station. I really wish the price of each upgrade was lowered or the amount earned for things/cases was increased significantly. I feel the first station should not be this time consuming or hard to upgrade things. I feel it should not get harder until the second or third station. I’d love to give this game more stars if this ever got fixed.
Game has been abandoned
It’s been two years or more and no updates. Which is too bad, it was a fun game. But I have seen this with a lot of the developers games.

Bugs
To many bugs, can’t even get past the tutorial. First freezes when I hire intern then have to close app and restart. Intern moves file to detectives area, then drops it off and then freeze there. No detectives, can only zoom in and out. Trie multiple times, I give up.
Cool
This game is very fun and has decent graphics. One thing is that I wish you could tap the screen quickly or something like that to make the work just generally go much faster. Otherwise, this idle game is pretty fun ngl

Even after the tutorial I was still confused. I found it a really slow game…cash comes in , not enough to hire and buy.such a disappointment as I was really looking to play this game….
Idle antithesis
This may be the only idle game I’ve ever seen where upgrades cause you to earn less money. It doesn’t really make sense. It’s also incredibly slow. Feels like a game designed to make you want to click ads so you can accomplish basically anything.
Money
I feel like money generation should be quicker. I wait about 30 seconds to get 500 dollars, but I need 5,000-20,000 dollars! If money could be generated every 5-10 seconds, that would be better.

Great game but
I have loved this game ever since it came out, lots of stuff to work through and unlock, it’s good. But after having it for so long it just stopped working… I’ve checked this game over and over again through the past two years to see if it works and it seems like Codigames has completely given up on trying to fix it. I just redownloaded it and it immediately glitched and would not work at all. Really wish this game worked.
Visual Issues
The zoom out distance needs to be increased. The game itself is pretty good so far, only just made it to the second city, but I really wish I could zoom out more and see my whole station. Easy to get lost unless you remember exactly where everything is

I completed 2 cities the one with the helicopters and the first police station I completed, we have been waiting for another station, please add one right now please!

After about 1 week of this game it seemed normal.however the next day after that week I started getting the same ad with suspicious names.names that came from known hackers so I went to get my iPad checked and wouldn’t you know my account was indeed hacked and I lost about 21k dollars because of this hack I had to get a full factory reset new device new everything do not download this game trust me you will regret it.
Love the app- needs updates
The app is fun and grappling, but at the same time but we need new stages and perhaps better income methods!

My game just uninstalled itself and when I reinstalled it all my purchases were gone and the restore purchases button doesn’t work this game used to be the best idle game out there afraid not anymore
No where to go
Game is tons of fun but once you have completed the levels there is no where else to go. The only other option is a special event which never changes. I’m ready to uninstall the game.
It’s good, but
It’s a bit hard to progress it’s been slow. I love it, and I kind of wish a prison bus came by and saw the picture of the prisoners in the cell said of just having them walk away.
No new police stations after 4 years
This company is just a bunch of money grabbers that don't release actual updates, their updates are for events where you are subtlety persuaded to use actual money for absolutely nothing. All the positive reviews are fake.

Continuation Stuck
“I see you're getting the hang of this, Captain. Now the new intern will take the case files from the front desk cabinet to the detective division.” Until “ You can see the progress made on the green bar above the detective's head.” Part of the tutorial is stuck for me. I can’t click on any buttons, and my camera is stuck on the file the intern put the blue book on. I can only zoom in and out, and other than that I’m stuck here. I’ve tried offloading, reinstalling. Please fix this game, it looks great (and has great reviews) and I want to continue, thank you devs
Mediocre Game.
I’m going to first start with the negatives about the Game. The Game mechanics are partially broken, in the sense that you are not fully guaranteed to make income when you watch advertisements. The sound effects for the Game is torture, especially when listening to it for long periods of time, luckily you can turn it off in the settings, but it is still an inconvenience. I think the tutorial was slow, so that could use more time. On the positive side. The locations and creativity of the Game was terrific, I think the models used for the Game were diverse and unique. The challenges felt like they had meaning, it was satisfying to lock up dangerous criminals from time to time. This Game is better than most games.
My progress reset
The game is fun but my place was lagging so i refreshed the app and all my stuff was gone. please get me my stuff back 🥲🥲
Mistakenly titled “Game”
This is not a game. A game requires critical thinking. All these “Baking Recipes” do is restrict you from an item or progress by requiring you to wait for time to pass. This is basically “watching paint dry” in a more visually appealing presentation. Hilarious these “games” come with the ability to buy “tokens” for up to $99 you can give them to decrease a level of restriction to an item that you mistakenly consider to be of value.
Good but…
Typical build tycoon but has some cool event stuff to keep you playing. However, I’ve been waiting for more non event stations for a long time. I guess you could assume this game is dead to the developers because I’ve completed the 4x core stations to 100% yet “Coming Soon” for the 5th has been there a very long time.

Needs more levels and having issues with special events
Enjoy the game but have bear every location and obviously you aren’t adding more because I’ve been waiting a long time. So now I just come back and play the special events on weekends. The last few weeks or so when the event starts it’s not starting from. The event starts and everything is already built and hired. What’s the point. Will be uninstalling unfortunately. Could be a great game.
Fun and Relaxing
As someone who works at a Juvenile Detention Center I found this game really enjoyable. It’s relaxing and time consuming when building your police station. I do hope more station become available in the future and possibly having your own personal station to upgrade. I’m also on a lookout for this company to make a firefighter department game just like this game
Unskipable cut scenes
Finding it rather hard to get into the game watching cut scenes that I literally can't speed up or skip. It's not teaching me anything. Just unnecessary NPC actions that I have to watch for no reason.

Idle calculations are wrong
If an idle game can't calculate progress properly when idle, it is worthless as an idle game. If I keep the game open, I am always in the positive, never even close to touching negative income. But if I close the app and come back to it later, half the time I lose money instead.
Great but once you do all the buildings there are none left
I love this app, it is so much fun. But I finished all the buildings and the next one says coming soon and it has said that for a year. It would be perfect if they just added one more location.
Needs more time spent on it
I personally like this game and enjoyed playing it but it has been nearly a year now (mid 2023) and I am still waiting for another station to open, i have had nothing to do in that time and as a result I have deleted the app due to inactivity, please sort this out.
Fun game but I wish I could restart
I redownload this every few months and I always wish that I had the option to restart from the beginning because I love the build up. Really disappointing that there is no option for this

Things cost too much

Reasonably enjoyable but don’t waste too much time on it.
Development is far too slow to make this a game you will want to play for long. The relatively recent inclusion of the weekly events is nice, but this is a plaster on a gaping wound. The app’s business development model is very much the cliché of the modern cash cow - Create a reasonably engaging freemium game, spam it with ads and charge money to remove these, include bolt ons and a levelling up collection function, and use a proprietary gem-based currency to push further spend. The implementation of this for Idle Police Tycoon is scale over quality, i.e. bring in as many customers as possible to make one-off spends, rather than cultivate a long-term customer base. This is why resources are not being allocated to developing the game quickly, and why it has a little bit of a overly simplistic unfinished feel. I think it’s worth having a go, but do so with your eyes open, as quality and user experience are certainly not the priorities of this game, no matter what platitudes the developers offer. (I’ve been testing this for over a year)
Fun game but needs a little improvement
I love playing this game, upgrading your stations feels rewarding, but comes with setbacks. For instance, once you increase station coverage and upgrade your reception, interns and investigators, you find out fairly quickly that even with a fully upgraded police force, they’ll be overran with cases and you’ll run out of room for new ones. That alone wouldn’t be so bad, but the overflow gets taken to your tactical units to handle, so you end up with your SWAT team in armored trucks enforcing traffic violations, which just seems out of place. That also takes time away from them going after the cases they’re supposed to. There’s no way to prevent this either, unless you want to fire some of your detectives, interns, or receptionists to slow down the process, but then you’ll end up with the same problem of running out of room, just with those departments instead. The game needs fixes to prevent this from happening because it’s frustrating to want to run a seamless machine, just for the upgrades that are supposed to make things easier, in reality muddy the whole process and make things more difficult. A few solutions I can think of to fix this issue is either update the police officers to work at a faster rate when upgraded, or introduce more roles to the station, like jailing officers who take arrested criminals from the patrol officers, so they don’t waste time taking the criminals to jail, and can instead immediately head back to their department to get another case. Or, upgradable police vehicles that either decrease time it takes to make arrests, or allow for more capacity, allowing officers to take multiple cases at once. This issue isn’t a deal breaker, but it is frustrating
