The Spinneys app is now very user friendly with a helpful search function. The increased offering of Spinneys own food is excellent & cost effective.

Nutritional information needed, when trying to check for calories etc… this app is useless. Either upload the information or add close up pictures of the labels. PLEASE!!!
Ok-ish app but with lots of bugs
Interface is ok but there are serious performance issues. You can’t actually place an order as a guest, the app keeps asking you to sign in. I tried registering with email but never received an OTP. The shopping card keeps disappearing from the screen. Compared to other grocery apps in Dubai this one is clearly behind.
Excellent Service and Easy to Use
I’ve been using the Spinneys Grocery Delivery UAE app for a while now and I’m really impressed! The app is super easy to navigate, and placing an order is quick and convenient. Delivery is always on time and the quality of the products is excellent—fresh fruits and vegetables every time. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking for reliable grocery delivery in the UAE.
Poor customer support & inconvenient app🤬
If you receive the wrong or spoiled item, it takes a lot of effort to get a refund or replacement. The support process is slow and inconvenient, and instead of solving the issue quickly, they make the customer waste time. Carrefour support works much better in such cases. On top of that, the app itself is very inconvenient - overloaded with unnecessary features and not user-friendly.
Needs work
Need to add the ingredients of each product so the consumer can make informed decisions. Also, would be great to go to previous orders and reorder individual items.

Nightmare!
Signing in was a horror. Pricing is ridiculous. Recommend Grandiose (I am a consumer, no axe to grind Other than wrestling with the app only to find it all 20% more expensive!).
Nice to have a delivery app, shame it is so user unfriendly
There are a lot of updates with this app, each time I hope it gets better but sadly not. Terrible stock control. Almost always get a call stuff is not in stock, whilst when I am in the shop there is plenty of said product. It’s basic and frustrating. As a working parent I love not having to go to the supermarket but this app is just too basic.
The app needs some improvement
The app is pretty alright, but for some reason when I “heart” a product while on list of products I lose my place and have to scroll down , to avoid that I have to click on product and then like it so I can add it to my shopping list & then press back so I go back to wherever I was with the list. As for shopping list, I added 88 items I wanted to try, now that I click on the list there’s only 10 items, but when I get out it repeats that there’s 88, so that needs fixing too. Some products don’t show the size or grams, or ingredients but besides that it’s pretty good. I know it was rushed cause of COVID , these are minor things to be fixed

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND DELIVERY
I have placed 8-10 large online orders from Spinney’s. Never once have I had a problem with my orders. I shop in bulk. Having these items delivered, LITERALLY TO MY KITCHEN, is a tremendous help to me. The drivers are very professional and always have a friendly smile which is a plus and nice to see:-) The call center warehouse is also very helpful and friendly when I need assistance with searching an item. Spinney’s online shopping and delivery saves me so much time and effort. Easy peasy and consistent GREAT SERVICE with a smile, EVERY TIME:)
Don’t waste your time
Very sluggish app. Slow and difficult to navigate. It’s faster to go and shop by yourself. There are plenty of alternatives in the UAE.

Unstable & Poorly Dev. App
Spinneys probably didn't higher the best to develop this app. It is definitely affecting sales and customer satisfaction negatively.
Poor stock control, items go missing
The app does not show accurate stock so there are frequently things out of stock even on an order for less than 24 hours later. Also, extremely irritatingly, if you put things in your basket in advance of the order things just get deleted out of your basket with no notice. I imagine it’s a stock issue but there’s no notification something has been removed so if you’re doing a large family shop it is horribly irritating to think you’ve ordered mince only to find it not there and you’ve not been told to try and find a substitute. Not good enough when other shopping apps manage this. Shopping elsewhere now - you’ve lost a customer.

Awful for anyone with allergies or dietary needs
95% of the information you need about the food you are buying (eg the actual ingredients, and whether or not it might contain something you are allergic to - eg, nuts, gluten etc) is not available on this app. The quality of the photos provided is so poor that, even if they have (rarely) put up an in focus photo of the back of the product, you cannot zoom in enough to read the ingredients or product information. So frustrating. No point in phoning the store either. Shopping takes 10 times as long and we regularly end up with food we cannot eat because warning labels are not listed on the app.
Great in concept, poor app design
When it works, this is great and the back end service is excellent. However, the app stability is really poor and probably crashes 4/5 times. Sort this and it would be great, but pretty worthless as is.

Despite some bad reviews this app is looks much better speed and all thing working perfect. Mouth watering yummy Spinney foods available.
Incredibly poor customer service
Every time I order I select the option for a call before substituting products. When products are not available there is no call and household staples that clearly would have an alternative are missing. No call and my order is once again marked don't call. The cynical part of me is presuming it’s to save time. Tried calling customer service but no answer. The shop is very good but the service via the app is awful.
App is fine, had better expectations for the level of service but was disappointed
Good app, my experience for ordering fresh items didn’t go well. I order a steak was not fresh, it had some odor. I contacted Spinneys by email after around a week regarding my experience, they apologized and stated no refunds per their policy. Other than the above disappointing experience; I didn’t face issues with earlier orders. Therefore, I would recommend not to order fresh items from Spinneys as they don’t excel this service and do not provide best of products.

This app seems like done in a very short period because of COVID but consistent updates and bug fixes makes app better.
Difficult to use and amateurish
This app is very difficult to use. Searches are time consuming and clumsy (chicken comes up when searching for beef). If you want more than one item, you press the ‘+’ but it’s slow to respond. This app is not the answer to online grocery shopping in UAE I’m sad to say.
Definite room for improvement
Whilst I am delighted that Spinneys deliver food now, the app is very clunky and difficult to use. The search engine isn’t particularly intuitive and the app crashes quite often mid-shop, which is annoying. The most irritating aspect is that I check the ‘please call me’ option when it comes to substitutions but - on the printed bill - it says I have selected ‘Don't call, don’t substitute.’ Inevitably, a large chunk of shopping is missing, without substitutions and without the option of discussing it with someone. I saw this happened to someone else who’d taken the time to review. Spinneys, please take note! There are many excellent delivery apps out there; being from the UK, Ocado’s app is second to none. Why not use a successful app as the model for your own?
