DAWN’S REVIEW
I love this bible application. It’s so easy to read and understand. I just love it! Thank you for your service.
A no go
There’s ads. This is a Bible app!!
Distracting
Love being able to read the Bible on my phone. What I don’t like is all the ads that distract you from what you are reading. Probably will go back to a good old fashioned book. At least I won’t just get into what I am studying and then get side tracked by annoying ads!
Allows malicious adds!
This app allows malicious, scam adds that are trying to mimic Apple in an attempt to deceive iPhone users!
No Audio for me
There is nowhere in the app I can find to use audio. It doesn’t look the same as the preview does here in the app store. No Audio button found. disappointing. 😞
Refreshing
Although the Bible is a little complicated to understand sometimes, The Living Bible gives the same word from God. TLB is easy to read and much easier to understand. God wants us to stay in his word and get to know him and TLB will bring you closer to him! Great reading and God Bless you!
Needs lots of improvement
The way this app is working right now, it is junk.
The Living Bible
I like the simple language that anymore can understand .
Difficult to navigate
Difficult to navigate through books
Review
Advert disturbing
Living Bible
Can’t figure some things out. Voice Text size
Don’t bother
Too many advertisements. It breaks your concentration and distracts you from what you’re reading and experiencing. The cost of ad free is too much.
Computer space
I really wish I could delete old plans.
Where are the books?
App looks nice but you have to tap and guess whi book you want to read or looking for. Its blank! I dont like having to guess
Would be nice if…
One could read the names of the books in the drop down menu. They’re in white don’t even when you change the display settings. The app also doesn’t play on the background, so one has to keep tapping the screen to keep it from shutting off while it’s reading the scriptures aloud. Really wanted to like this, but sadly it’s not meeting the expectations or standards.
Easy to navigate & understand
This app has been wonderful is many areas, if I was looking for a quick verse, or wanted to dive into a specific chapter which was easy to find.in my Morning reading hours or waiting in line. The video are nice to share with kids who are very focused on the ‘tik toc’ version of life. I continue to find more ways to understand the great book from this app.. thank you
Not happy with update
I loved this bible reading app until they came out with the new update. I lost all my notes and saved scriptures. I also lost my progress the (mark as read). Not to mention there is no audio like it advertises, at least not for me.
Living Bible
The App doesn’t work only comes up when I downloaded the App. After that I get a white screen very disappointing.
The living bible app problems
The living bible is a easy version to read. However I am disappointed to why the app is never updated. I am Interrupted always with the pop up adverts, when you am trying to find the scriptures it disappears from time to time. Also it doesn’t save the scriptures from the last place you read you end up having to start from the beginning. It would help if you can read from the large size of the iPad
Living the Living Word
Can’t express enough how helpful this Bible is when I want a more clear understanding. Thank you!
Worst strategy for ads
Who needs to see or forced to see ads while trying to spend time reading the Bible.
New Living
It sometimes it’s the wrong “interpretation”. It’s more a commentary and then only a fair one not the best. Sorry I know some folks spent a lot of time putting it together but it is NOT a translation in my opinion!
Need to fix
This is the only TLB version and I am grateful for this version and you all for making this app. It needs some fixes such as the highlighting portion of scripture causing one verse to come up unto a whole other screen. This makes it impossible to read and keep highlighted scriptures. Please fix this. It should be simple instead of the extra, make that a separate feature.
The living Bible is easier to understand
Love, or even the Bible keeps me closer to God
Living Bible Rate
The reason I rated it very low was way to many Adds!! You can’t stay concentrating on what you are reading for all of the ads popping up!!!!!! The Bible should be free and free from ads!!!
Please fix
When I click that I’ve read a chapter in the Old Testament, it also shows I e read a chapter in the New Testament. This needs to be fixed please
The reader
Would enjoy it better if the reader would NOT announce each verse and just read through the chapter.
Living Bible Translation
Easy to comprehend especially English is my second language..Thank you to the people responsible for making this apps so amazing.
Tech-support 100% unavailable
I paid for a lifetime subscription. Four days ago it said I had to buy a subscription. I clicked on the link to restore my subscription. It just spins. I tried going to the help page, when you try to get a hold of Support. Nothing happens. Extremely buggy.
What happened?
This was my go to bible and they changed it. One day it was just gone! I tried to download the same version, but it’s different. Table of contents….gone. I can’t find my old pages, very disappointing.
Chapter reset
The only set back with the Living Bible is that when you finish reading a chapter and leave the app you immediately loose the chapter where you were reading and the page automatically goes back to Genesis. You have to search again for the book and chapter where you were reading. It wasn’t like that with this app 2 years ago.
Easy read
I love the format. Each verse is easy to read and they don’t “bleed” into the previous or next verse. I wish my other Bible apps were this reader/user friendly.
The app functionality is bad
I love this version of the Bible, it my favorite. But, this app has been very disappointing. It’s totally blank when I open the app, I can’t see what book I am on. The front end functions are totally off. I am disappointed.
Commercials while reading the Bible?
I can’t believe you allow commercials to pop on while reading your Bible. So disruptive while in a group setting.
Books of the Bible
For some reason I can not see the books of the Bible. All I can see are the number of chapters. I like this version, however, I would like to be able to see the names books that are within and not just the chapters. The positive thing is, this will push me to learn the books in order like I use to and won’t have to worry about which book comes before or after the other.
Detailed
This version of The living bible is so tailored to details. I’ll recommend it for anyone anytime any day.
God’s word says
God’s word says you are not to add or take away from his word. You left out the verse in Luke chapter 17:36. And it’s possible that there are others missing in this app so For that reason I’m deleting this app and if I could take away the one star I assure you that I would… don’t mess around with the Lords word.!.
Get rid of the annoying movie trailer
I really enjoy the Living Bible, however it’s annoying to always being interrupted by the movie trailer. It especially embarrassing when it happens in a Bible study group. Is there an app that doesn’t do this. I’m currently trying the NLB app, but it’s wording is not the same. Can you offer any help.
Great app!
Great app!
Living Bible App
Very poor quality. Books of the Bible are not named or labeled. They are only numbered. Very un user friendly.
Terrible setting of the books of the Bible.
Terrible. A person would have to know the exact arrangements of the books of the Bible. The way it is now, you have to guess. I absolutely hate it.
