Once you get over the fact that the first number you see is the balance despite it saying “spending” the app is perfect.
Wouldn’t trust them with my money
I’ve been waiting weeks for my account to be opened, customer service are utterly useless time wasters. Can’t wait for the account to open so I can close it!
Einfache und übersichtliche Banking App
Sauberes Design, reagiert schnell, und wirkt professionell. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ich würde mir wünschen die Sprache ändern zu können, denn das Gender Deutsch ist unlesbar. Da ziehe ich Englisch vor, oder ein zumindest eine Auswahl zwischen richtigem Deutsch und Gender Gefasel.
Licht mit Schatten
Keine Frage 4% für 4 Monate und eine einfache Einrichtung mit einer übersichtlichen und intuitiv zu bedienender App. Aber: Es gibt keine Zwei-Faktor Identifizierung. Es ist Banking über PC und Browser möglich. Eine Änderung des Auszahlungskontos ist mit einfachem PIN ohne zusätzliche Prüfung möglich. Jetzt werde ich mal die 4 Monate abwarten. Chase plant ja angeblich mehr. Aber ein Girokonto mit den Sicherheitsmankos wäre bei mir nichts.
Allow previous customers back!!
I would love to rejoin Chase UK, all UK banks allow previous customers to come back, understand your app doesn’t have the re-onboarding feature but you’ve been operating for over 3 years now, surely the technology must be easy to develop. Can you provide timeframes when you will allow previous customers back?

Die App ist grundsätzlich klar und übersichtlich. Kritik: 1. Man sieht nicht den täglichen Zinszuwachs wie es bei TradeRepublic der Fall ist. 2. keine Echtzeitüberweisung
Dot not working
Great app, however since last update when transferring money between account . Not working. For example if i want to enter 15.5 i cant enter the .(dot)
The Good, Bad & the Ugly
Positive points :- Very fast transfer between Chase account and my main Bank for both deposits and withdraws. Debit card. Calls to customer service answered quickly. Good rate for new users on the deposit account. Sadly I am not a new user. Full UK Government deposit protection. Negative points:- The base interest rate on the deposit account is woeful. The restriction on only one instance of the app enabled at any time is a restriction too far (no backup). I am not a fan of the Debit card cash back feature. In the app activity lists there is no running balance which is a big drawback when entering the transactions into a money program, a real pain. Ugly :- Not really.

As expat with a chase account in Germany, I find really difficult to use the app. I can not have my app in English or any other language that isn’t German

Sorry to leave but interest rates reduce after 12 months and I must make sure that my savings are in the best place.

Man kann die App nicht auf iPhone und gleichzeitig iPad verwenden weil dann immer eine Registrierung überschrieben wird. Das ist Mist.

App OK but Chase Bank not so !
The app works fine and things would be even better if Chase allowed you to spend your own money ! Having called Chase as suggested and waited 8 mins to be answered and then a further 12 mins in hold once answered, all I have achieved is conformation that I made the right decision in cancelling the account when I did. When you have 4 new tyres fitted and your payment is declined 2-3 times, with more than sufficient funds to pay for them, and then have to walk home and get cash to pay for the service; what would you do ?

Leider kann ein Abrechnungsbeleg für die erhaltenen Zinsen nicht ausgedruckt werden. Man kann selbige leider nur abfotografieren um selbige (mit Steuer und Soli) auszudrucken. Wäre toll wenn diese Abrechnungen -genau wie die Monatsauszüge- druckbar wären. // pdf- dgl. Dateiformat !!!

1-star — Avoid Chase Think very carefully before trusting Chase with your money. My account was restricted without meaningful warning, leaving me unable to access my own funds for weeks. I provided the information requested, yet Chase has repeatedly hidden behind the words “ongoing review” while refusing to give me a clear timescale or proper explanation. I have explained the serious financial hardship this is causing, including problems paying essential bills, and still received little more than generic copy-and-paste responses. The handling has been chaotic, communication has been appalling and different members of staff have given completely inconsistent information. They have even issued final response letters while the underlying review remains unresolved. The matter is now with the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you are thinking of banking with Chase, ask yourself whether you are comfortable with the possibility of your money becoming inaccessible with little warning and then being left in limbo. I certainly wouldn’t take that risk again. Avoid.

Die Konditionen sind super, aber leider gibt es für Outbank keine Verknüpfung. Leider sieht man auch nicht wie bei anderen Apps, die an laufenden Zinsen innerhalb eines Monats, sondern erst zum Monatsanfang für den vorherigen Monat die komplette Zinszahlung. Ich wünschte, es gäbe eine tägliche Tracking Option.

Can’t send pence, only full pounds
The bank does not have functionality to send pence. No decimal points. Only amounts rounded by pounds. Support is helpless, I got their email response which is again not helpful. Shame.

Excellent bank, however it only rewards new customers not existing customers but I will keep my current account but my savings account has been moved
Only 1 device
The app limits access to 1 device at a time. Would be handy to have an iPad app to check my account in addition to the iPhone app.

Compared to other banks I have dealt with recently Chase has been the most straight forward to deal with. No stress just ideal.

Got my account frozen been 1 weeks. They will leave you without money for rent and food for months if they want be carful

Will be putting one star as carnt put zero this app has faulse information they tell u they want to help u with any bank problems I have waited over two weeks to get my refund as the promised to find out they not giving it me so had to report it and take it into my own

This bank works well for the sort of account I want and is so easy to see your accounts on the banking app they keep you upto date with your finances
Locked out
Access to the app and my account has been locked whilst abroad. The only option given is to call a uk phone number, which I cannot do with my phone contract. I keep sending emails but no-one responds. Terrible service.
Great cash back only for a year
Great cash back card. Love the details on the app. Would really like it if they extended the cash back to forever instead of a year. If they don’t extend it, I’ll likely find another offer somewhere else. Also wish they offer joint accounts.
