I don’t like this payment of £60 being taken out for the account then better having to top up. Very slow charging plus a few sockets are not been working for the last few weeks.
Account login
Existing Phone number and email address won’t work together. Says I have an account with existing email already. Won’t give me the option to login to account with existing email. Stuffing around attempting. Try to add credit card to new account. Credit card won’t add to account with unclear issue. Stupid app…I just want to charge my car
Apple wallet
Why can’t i add the bp puld card to apple wallet? Costa, tesco, nandos, banks etc all do it can’t bebthat hard save us from carrying in wallet please
Really useful app
All worked a treat once I got to the charger. Directions aren’t obvious, it’s a small rhombus with an arrow in next to the name.
I'd give it -1 stars if I could
Worst ever charging experience by a long, long distance. The headline on the app listing says "Get energy effortlessly..." Here's my experience. Effortless? I'll let you be the judge of that? Get energy? Absolutely not. All its done is drain my energy and my bank account. Charger doesn't accept contactless. Took ages to set up my account. No support for Apple Pay. Had to use my own charging cable. Then BP took a hold of £60 - yes £60 - of my money. Who knows how long until they release that hold... Then it failed to start charging. Retried several times without success. Oh and I'd already paid £4.50 to park my car... Absolute disgrace. Let's see what BP's profits look like this year in return for providing this service... I'll go do my shopping and then drive to the Tesla charging station a couple of miles away. 1 tap, £20 hold, and a whole lot cheaper per kWh.
Double time duration
The app is quite easy to use but when charging instead of one showing duration it has it twice instead of one and the other showing your charge rate price so you know how much your charge is, didn't think this would be difficult to implement.
App not working
I have been trying to use the app for over 2 months now and it is just bugging out I had £20 free credits but can’t look to see if there is any left
Glitchy
This app was great until the last couple of weeks until it started getting really glitchy like it’s trying to reload constantly. Now unusable - have tried deleting and downloading several times
Straight forward
Ideal when away from home & unable to use home charger prices are a little high but not to bad every now & then
Impossible to login
It is impossible to log into this app. Once the credentials are entered, it accepts them but takes you back to the login page. Raised the issue with support a few days ago and a ticket was raised but have heard nothing further.
Difícil usar, ortopédica
Tratar de que al hacer zoom te acerque al cargador en el que estás es difícil. Te muestra median región. Y escribir el código de cargador imposible. No escanea el QR. Al final cargue con tarjeta débito que te retiene un saldo y carga. En pleno 2026 hacéis una m*** de aplicaciones.

App just freezes on the “customise bp pulse app” page. None of the entry boxes, check boxes or button do anything
Useless - yet to successfully charge
I’ve tried to use this app to charge 6 times over the last 18 months and I’ve never managed to make it work. First few times I couldn’t add a card, more recently I press the button to start a charge session and the charger doesn’t activate.
Terrible chargers terrible customer services
Avoid. Billed three times by Octopus for failed charging sessions. Contacted BP support who told me to just use credit card. Tried to charge again and charger did not work but still took £20. Octopus returned their charges after 3 days automatically. Still waiting for BP to, has now processed as a charge despite charging session and no receipt of transaction and no customer support via telephone, only email but they advise try and get your bank to organise a refund as we cannot seem to trace the transaction.
Completely unfit for purpose
Simply doesn’t work on any level. Aside from looking like a student project (from the year before they learn about “user journeys”) the app is incapable of setting up an account (despite requiring ALL your personal details - it just gets randomly stuck and won’t take any inputs) and worse - it also can’t manage to start a charge, which is the apps only and entire purpose. Also you can’t pay using apple pay. Needs redesigning again from the ground up or, ideally, all BP chargers replaced by competitors
App is broken
I have reported this to BP and got no response. I can’t log into the app as it seems to be stuck on some form of start up loop so I can’t even register. I’m a disabled driver and have a mobility subscription to BP which I’m unable to use. A company the size of BP should be able to sort out a simple looping problem on the app, no deleting and re down loading doesn’t fix it, neither does rebooting the phone. BP get this sorted please and stop ignoring customer emails
Not working.
Tried to get it to work and then just got in a frozen loop going back and forth on map. Using latest iOS on new iPhone.
Unreal
I have tried with no success 4 times to set this app up it verifies my mobile number then verifies my email then sets up using my face recognition. All great you might think, then says one more step enter your email address I did this then it says link to verify and then freezes. Question do you want people you use this app or not.

Hi, having issues with the map loading, it’s trying to load every second, uninstalled and reinstalled but still same, think it’s a problem with location ,contacted support but no answer
