Love it
It’s simple and fun. It works even in my highly abused region with 70 Mb limit of mobile Inet a day and tons of bans and blocks in 1984 style. And theres a small but steady community of fans from many places who love this game and play daily for years. It takes only a minute to make a move in a daily game and what a pleasure! The app is well made. Graphics style sux, but who am I to judge. You won’t find a better version of the game than this one.

Безумно долго ждать формирования он-лайн игры. Очень мало реальных игроков. В какое время не зайдёшь в игру - в он-лайне 30-36 человек. И они же уже играют. Создаёшь игру в лобби и минут по 15 можно ждать и не дождаться.
Almost perfect
I love this game. AI opponents don’t roll with ver and play dead. If they could make the dice closer to random, it would be about perfect. Played an entire game with one 10 recently. Other than that, it is great.
Lot of bugs
I can’t play ~ 3 days because I can’t do anything in the game. And it’s just not me
Elo needs fixing
You lose a lot of elo if you don’t win even if you stay above way higher ranking players
Improvements on Catan
I love this game and play often with my friends. It incorporates the base game of Catan along with elements of the expansions (Seafarers and Cities and Knights). It improves on some gameplay elements that make it much easier to play sync- especially the trading (no trading with other players, but 3:1 with the bank instead of 4; military is simplified against barbarian attacks; etc). The new rules take a little getting used to if you’ve played lots of Catan, but then it’s more fun IMO. Some gameplay elements could still be improved, like some of the resource cards that can become OP late in the game on larger maps. But overall it’s a great strategy game that I prefer much, much more than the other Catan apps and sites out there.
App broke
The app broke and I’m now unable to use it. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading twice with no luck, and in its current state it’s unusable.
Fun! But has glitches
Fun game! Some glitches though. When I try to edit my character it changes back to the original look as soon as I click the tab for the next feature to edit. Not a huge deal but would love to change that
Bad update
I was enjoying this game until that update. Now I have to strain to see things, and I have no idea how many military my opponents have now unless I click on them individually.
Fun but glitchy
Interesting variations on the original. Unfortunately the screen often freezes and i have to restart making some begun games unplayable.

Best Catan like game app I’ve found. Already great and always improving!
Bots make the game impossible
Game would be halfway decent if the bots weren’t impossible to beat. The easiest bot will win every time
Addictive Yet Frustrating
I really love this game. I’ve been telling lots of friends about it so there will be more people to play with. I usually play against the bots and something extremely frustrating keeps happening. They are almost unbeatable. Typically there is one bot that absolutely skunks me and the other two bots. I feel like I’m playing at a pace that is fun and competitive with two of them, but one is always too good. Sort of takes the fun out of it. I wish the bots were more evenly matched with me.
Same as the other reviews
I am a seasoned Catan player and get stomped by the one bot player consistently. Scores like bot 30 vs other bot 12 and me 15 are the norm. This is with the bot holding a many of the cells with 3 or 4 values… something is not right.

Love it
You can make your OWN MAPS! Almost like Catan. I like it better than Catan. There are some technical issues but for those of us who are hooked we are willing to put up with them. The developer is constantly in contact with us through the chat and trying his best to fix problems and bugs. This is now an extremely popular game.
Great design, some annoyance
Excellent design and interface; impressive to cram all the complexities of this game into an interface you can navigate with your thumbs. I even like some of the rule nuances; “military” instead of knights, trading rates, etc. Docked one star for: - Requiring internet for single player games against bots. Drives me insane that even simple mobile games need a persistent connection these days. - Unpredictable occasional gameplay bugs
Fun Game but Overheats Phone
I have a newer iPhone, no issues playing or doing anything else on my phone but running this for one game causes my phone to start burning my hand and after a couple games I’ve had it tell me my phone had to cool down before use!
On The Rise
Great game. There are seasons. There are ranked games. You can build your own maps. You can invite friends to play with you. You can play against total strangers or bots. The game is new and still being developed and the developers are in the game and actively interacting with us regular folks. Not as addicting as hard-core drugs but just as fun.

Ugh. The user experience on the iPhone is a big step backwards. Details for your hand are not user-friendly. Not sure about other upgrades in this version but as a daily player I hope this can be adjusted.

Love that there’s an alternative but…
Great implementation of that explore and settle game. But ultimately deleted the app because: 1. I really don't like cities and knights, and without a way to turn it off, I have no interest in playing. 2. All the animations were overkill and slow. 3. The board was hard to analyze quickly. Not enough contrast with colors, number tiles were small and hard to read, red dots at the vertices were visually noisy and distracting. It's definitely a good start, but with these issues, it's hard to see playing. I'll wait to see if future updates address these issues.
Love Love Love
Absolutely love this version of Catan. It’s fast due to no trading and no choosing cards on gold or discarding. It’s like all of the expansions in one. New ranked feature is great too. I play this every day.

Needs rule modifications for standard games - i.e ability to place two settlements instead od 1 settlement and 1 city
CATAN 2.0 - Amazing App!
This is even better than Catan! The best part about this app is the line of communication between the developers and the community through discord. We are continuously seeing improvements and updates while being asked for feedback and suggestions. This game is truly incredible, come join the fun!
Everything I love about Catan and more
Absolutely phenomenal recreation of Catan, with some new gameplay that spices things up without ruining the original concept. I often find myself enjoying this more than Catan since it’s less repetitive and more customizable. No annoying ads either. Honestly the only problem I have with it is that there’s not very many players, so I have no one to play with most of the time :(
Great but…
New update requiring tutorial completion, already completed. When completed a second time, it doesn’t register that it’s been completed.
