I miss previous version of app
Before in my IPad Pro 11 inch it was comfortable to practice. But now it’s so small and I don’t feel the same and I do a lot of mistakes. At the previous app there was much more practice in one fully page. Now it looks like focused just for kids. I’m so upset because it was my relaxing app for pleasure and practice handwriting before write my dairy.
It’s good but
I'm writing stuff perfectly and it says ok
Not accurate
The program is nice in theory but it forces you to trace the letters too perfectly. This program feels like it was made with AI or made very hastily without any real thought. Some letters are wrong. I’ve never seen the lowercase f written the way this program teaches it.
Why
Why does it cause money if people downloaded the app they obviously wanna learn how to write not learn to pay to learn how to write
Fountain pen tool
I really like this app but want to know if you could add a tool that more closely looks like a fountain pen. After writing the above, I heard from the app developer who was eager to get details about what I was looking for. Big shout out to these people!
Capital G
I enjoyed this app very much. I am frustrated on the Capital G, no matter how many times I have tried it just doesn’t advance .
It’s great!
It’s great it looks super cool to learn! And it tells you what you want to learn and you can pick more than one. The reason I put four stars is because you have to pay 29.99 dollars to get a life time access. It would be great if you only payed for premium, I know it’s not such a thing lol but I was just saying. But you should download it if you want to pay.
Teeensy bit angry
Keeps saying it’s wrong when I do my handwriting the BEST I can
It is not what I expected…
I like the app, but every time I write it says “ok” or “good. I thought this was practice…not getting criticized. Anyway, I do like that you can choose different writing and practice it..kind of. The letters were too small to write on, and it kept telling me “try again,” every time I touched it. All in all it isn’t the best app to practice cursive.
Excellent
This is an excellent! I would recommend!
Not Shareable
I am so tired of apps saying they work on Family sharing on Apple products, and it’s untrue. As an adult, I now have Writey Cursive Handwriting on my iPad for absolutely no reason, while my child has no handwriting support on their device. It seems to be a great product, but I’ll never know, as my son will never have access to it unless I buy another subscription. Ridiculous! Maybe I’ll teach him to right R-I-P O-F-F on my own.
The prices $$
Can you guys please make the full payment not 49 DOLLARS!!!! I am 12 make like 9 dollars so my mom can get it for me it’s great I love it but I just can’t paid my is already paying for my braces so that’s what I would like to have happen
Can not write in different languages
I cannot write in Korean and Chinese and cannot update the app
well designed but falsely advertised
there is no left hand option despite it being advertised in multiple places
Great I got it
My handwriting suffered after numerous years and bouts of cancer. I was hoping this would help with fine motor control and improve my handwriting. It did.
Bad
The ai is so picky and confusing but ig it’s not horrible this is just my opinion
It nice BUT a they erase your work
So when I mess up or write it a different way it doesn’t like the way I write it. But otherwise I like it AND everything you get on most of it you have to pay and why would you need to pay just to write.
No way to trial the app
It takes you through a sign in process…which includes me giving my sign in credentials through Apple or other means. I did this with the understanding that there would be something in return, like some sample content to try out. I am especially interested in whether there is content in the language I am learning. Instead, in exchange for my PRIVATE information, I was asked to jump through several hoops, but then was asked to choose a subscription plan. There was no option to continue with just sample content to see if I like the content. I am left not knowing anything about this app or what it offers because I can’t test it out. I don’t blindly buy apps that don’t allow me to sample the content first, especially ones that collected my private data without allowing me to sample the app’s content.
Too sensitive for training and teaching
Even on the largest of iPads, the owes, and some other letters are way too sensitive. Leaving correctly, drawn letters marked as error or needing to be rewritten over and over again in order to pass the test. There needs to be a way to adjust a sensitivity. Otherwise there’s no way to gradually train or gradually improve someone’s penmanship. They can’t just be one or zero there needs to be a leniency or an adjustable. But what do I know? I’ve only been designing products for 30 years.
I love it
Thanks for you😃
Garbage
Doesn’t function and constantly shuts down. A waste of time , cancelled my subscription.
Read this
This app is really good if you’re wanting to learn new styles learning how to use your apple pencil or wanting to improve TrY ThIs i might sound like i am advertising but promise i am not this app is very good and useful
Unknown
This app is very nice and has a variety of things to practice but u can only practice everything by paying.
My kids love it but…
The leftie mode is not showing anywhere in the app. I wasted so much time on it, on youtube tutorials and is not showing all the options it shows in the tutorial so my kid is stuck while his brothers are enjoying the app.
I really like this app!
I LOVE WRITELY! It is very easy to work with but PLEASE could you add Russian to the variety of languages 🙏
*not great*
It sucks.
Good app but i’d like more options
Could you are korean handwriting in the future? I’d love to learn that
Unnecessary limitations for money
I will use programs like IbisPaint + because you layer your artwork. This means you can have a layer of whatever letters you want, and you can trace over them as many times as you like. This program is for people who seriously don't know how to use technology and want to pay the price for their lack of knowledge
Good, but too limited
Like others, I think the paywall kicks in way too early. On top of that, there’s a 1-time chance to lower the subscription to $20 but it comes up after your first lesson? I barely know if I like the app yet, let alone if I want to pay money for pro. And if they’re so okay with the price being halved, it makes me feel like a sucker if I want to pay for pro once I use the app! I’ll probably buy a month and cancel the subscription. The app is good but hindered by an absurd monetization model.
Great, but needs Dark Mode
It’s absolutely great for learning different styles of cursive writing. But, I think it needs a dark mode feature. Adding a dark mode feature would help writers and students practice at night or in dark environments.
Cost money
Of course it cost money
Good app
I think this is a good app, it’s helping me with my writing, but it here’ is a thing that makes me struggle, there a bit small to write over and when I zoom in, I have to scroll and it aches my arm, maybe do them a bit bigger, apart from that, it’s a great app and very cheap!
Urrr
Great game but totally unnecessary part.I wanted to learn fancy writing and I could only do A,a,B and b before I had to pay!!!!!!!!!!!!please correct this.
Alright (Tʖ̯T)
It's ok but after you do a little bit of levels after training you have to pay but I can't pay and my hand writing is horrible so I cant play any more. Please change this so people can make changes in their hand writing for free. But it's good if you willing to pay ᵕ᷄≀ ̠ᵕ᷅
You should really download the app!
The app is really educational and it helps you learn how to write better you should totally get it! it’s so cool and it teaches you not just cursive it teaches you how to write neat and fancy you should totally get it! And it’s free and haves no ads you don’t even have to pay for it so you should totally totally get it!
Honestly sucked
Feels like malware and keeps making me pay afee after I canceled and the app won’t uninstall
Good app
Great for learning new fonts to write with, although could do with a greater number of words to trial with
My rating
WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY TO LEARN CURSIVE WRITING!!!!!!!???!?!?!
Ok
It’s such a great app defo recommended though there’s such a lot of glitches
Help alot
This appl help me a lot
Sucks
You can’t do much without having to pay. You have to pay way too much to learn the ALPHABET. As someone who struggles to write neat I struggle to find this helpful. Don’t get this app. It’s useless.
Great but….
Love the app but it would be great if you could adjust the hand sensitivity when resting on the iPad, I’m tired of the page slipping about and it constantly asking me if I want to insert a space
Add more stuff
It is great but if you could add more and let people do more stuff that would be great because I finished the number and shapes and some of the letters and I wish I could continue to the French handwriting and more you guessed it I’m French but I don’t know how to do French handwriting it’s crazy I know anyways please change it and make it fair for everyone so they can continue without the you paying
It’s okay but far too expensive for what it is.
Wanted to improve my handwriting so took the free trial. Enjoyed it over the first couple of tries so let it run. Have access for 12 months at £10.99 but there’s nothing really to go back for after a few practices and doesn’t really help you develop. Just looked at the latest update and there’s nothing there to help me develop further. Just cancelled to make sure I don’t forget about it automatically renewing.
Bugs everywhere
Fix the bugs
Waste of money
$39.99 for this is crazy, the apps features are limited, and if you go to shapes its completely misleading because you dont get to draw the shapes, instead you write the name of the shape. The app appears to be more polished than it actually is, it has potential, but right now this is a disappointment.
Nice App - UK handwriting style would be good
This is a good app, which could be made even better if it supported UK, and possibly other international, cursive handwriting styles. Please add this functionality!
Not good
App is pretty glitchy and theres not many options. If you have kids learning to write it might be good for them.
What
I downloaded this for my younger sister needing some extra time to Focus on hand movement and strokes but I was disappointed at the fact that she couldn’t write on it, when you try and weird on it it moves the page.I am concerned that this is like an issue with the software but I was never sure. Please some advice I’d there’s a way over this
