Battery Care Alarm

Battery Care Alarm

— Akira Shinma

Too many ads to even get started

I was seriously interested in this app, but it had so many ads that I couldn’t even get to the part where I could pay for it without a ton of ads blocking my way. Ironic.

Great

This App is great for controlling what % you want your phone to charge to.

— Harry Jacob Mejia

Need option to remove ads

Very aggressive ads with no option to remove. Otherwise nicely designed.

Does not work any more since 2.9

2.9 and 2.10: App starts but hangs at slim/fat battery animation. It's a pity, since before it was a well usable app.

Doesn’t work

My phone has surpassed the 80% battery level several times without any notice

— Ian Poster

Very useful app but

It is a very useful tool for avoiding overcharging. Alarm sound is great. But it doesn’t show your battery percentage. Need to look in the corner of the screen. Too many ads from time to time (not always) when I activate charging mode. It is so annoying that I thought I cannot activate charging mode. Otherwise it is a very good app.

2 stars

2 stars because my phone is at 32% and it said my phone is at 30-0% may you please fix the issue

Fair?

TL;DR — app works as expected, as described. No iOS notifications from app, uses standard volume rather than ringtone and alarm setting, and is limited to a single alarm. A range cannot be set if someone were trying to moderate their charging. — I installed "Battery Alarm" upon my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. I wanted to use the app as a tool to assist my manual regulation of battery charging. It only permits me to set a single alarm, rather than two for a minimum and maximum. That's fine. Everything is fine; I am just bein' silly, and so I've given a three star hopefully to reflect my indifference and not harshly affect their rating. I stopped charging before the first alarm could sound. That's my choice. The app has experienced two more events where it should have sounded. The first of these I never heard, as my phone volume is minimum, and the app doesn't use the ringtone setting I have configured more audibly. The second instance sounded at this low volume at the desired battery percentage, but only when I opened the app, and not in the background or by notification. But I am not sure the app will sound if it is left in the background. That may be my settings, though. I have some aggressive settings to reduce app activity in favor of cellular data, Wi-Fi and battery performance. If I have one real concern that prevents a five star rating, it will be my apparent lack of notifications from the app. I will prefer a battery alarm app notify me using Apple iOS' built-in system for this purpose. As for the app's integrated serving of advertisements, I cannot care about that and have not weighed this into my rating. My dissatisfaction and rating is user error, probably. The app is fine, I think. Sorry — quirky human here. :) Ta ta!

Works ok, but delayed

Could dev speed up battery graphic? Launch is slow due to battery graphics. Half the time alarm fails to ring. Update: v1.13 still nothing fixed

Got one

Need to show charge percent on screen when charging and option to choose loud alarm to get 5 stars.

Battery Alarm

Fazit: macht kein Sinn.

Too many full-screen ads, blaring audio.

Incessant full-screen ads with blaring audio make this app rubbish. This app is poorly thought-out, and quite annoying in its present form.

— macuser432

In background

Is there any way to make the app work when it is not the active app in foreground?

— Sam195

No useful

It’s just working when your ip’s unlock 👎

— NamBryant

Good

It works fine. Hopefully in the future it can work in background.

— afiqahSm

Simple and easy

The app is very beautiful in design and easy to use but a background mode will be helpful. It fulfills it’s purpose and don’t show malicious ads

— Anjali K.

Does not work

Tried it. Checked and realized it had past the target level but heard no alarm. No evidence that it even has an alarm.

— keny416

— ASTAROTO

Really works

This is one of the very best battery alarm.

— Dad7321

— tahseentahseen

Has potential

I love its minimalistic design, only crucial problem is that you must have the app always open and can’t even turn off the display or the alarm doesn’t work. Fix this problem (let the app send notifications) and this can clearly become the best charge alarm app.
