Functional and easy
I find the Battery Charge Alarm app easy to use and helpful to maximize battery life.
ADS ARE LOUD & long

Almost perfect
You mute your phone sound for the stupid ads, then you are muted when the alarm goes off? Not great.

Promo for an "amazing application" to clean phone. No close button on the ad's page. Likely spyware.
Good app; obnoxious ads
The app works fairly well and has the controls that you need including being able to set the volume of the alarm in the settings. It has a nice graphic display showing you how the charge is progressing. One downside is that it won’t work unless it’s the app is visible. Major downside is that the ads are obnoxious to some degree and very hard to get rid of!

It is NOT reliable!
This is a great little app, and it works just well. However, on tablets and desktops when the ads come in at the beginning, some of them raise the device volume, causing the user to lower the volume which, if the user forgets to bring the volume back up then the alarm cannot be heard. The other issue is that some of the ads do not have an option to get out of the ad without hearing the entire ad even if it’s not something that you want to hear. I recommend they work on that ad feature that creates these two problems. Other than that it’s a great little app to say congratulations.
Won’t turn off the ads
The app started acting up, so I deleted it and uploaded it again and now it’s showing me ads like I didn’t pay for it. Feels suspiciously done on purpose. Don’t buy it.

Doesn’t alert you when charge is done
The alarm doesn’t ring to notify you that your phone is fully charged. Defeats the whole purpose of the app. My phone is getting overcharged anyway, bad design.
Brilliant idea
After using for more than a year it’s not what I’d like but it is better than nothing. I gave it an extra 3 *’s because I want folks to be aware of it. It does not work for me likely because of human error. I plug in, click on app, adjust charge %, and I guess I don’t hit the submit button because the alarm has only very rarely worked. Not sure if it’s distraction from the ads or the ADD 🤷🏻♂️ I’m not sure designers often understand that the purpose of tech is to help the user . . . anything less is a fail. I feel like I do it all right and yet it failed again and I notice I’m usually better off relying on my own clock. Having said that, it would be great to use a real clock than my internal one. I suppose it’s just me and I need to continue to try and adapt. If you can make better, please do so, if this works for everyone else, I wish you nothing but good fortune and sincerely appreciate you🙏🏼 *Update: I still use this although I am in the process of replacing with a hardware & app solution. Last night alarm at 82% when set for 63%, but still better to have it. Overall it works more than not and I find it’s better than my memory which has a spotty track record.

Kinda works
If you leave it open and keep your phone from going to sleep then it works as advertises, sounds an alarm when it reaches a charge percentage. But you can’t minimize it or run it in the background. You can’t even allow your screen to turn off. Another thing is minor but you can’t select any percentage. You have to move a slider and pick whatever number is close to what you want. For example, 80% is a widely accepted value. You can move the slider and land on 78% or 83%.

Live this App, 1 minor complaint
This is what I needed. However, I can’t know my charging rate because it reports Amps without Voltage. I don’t know if changing chargers speeds up my charging because Watts is the required value.

Some bug with the slider to set the battery threshold for alert You can set for 78% 83 or 88% but not 80% in line with apple recommendation You should have flexibility to set the threshold to anything

Can’t set to 90%, goes from 88 to 93. Alarm never goes off.
Not Working Properly in iOS 17 🥹
It was working very well earlier. Now Its not detecting charge level in my iphone 13. Also, not able to set desired battery level percentage after iOS17. Will it be fixed or we have to move to another app ??

Sone times give Error that you have not set alarm after setting the alarm also, I think some bugs is there have to correct. One more I did not like in this app is all the time we need to set alarm kindly re-fix this method

It’s a good app guys.. but they should come up with an update - for reducing the battery power (which heats up the phone) so we have to disconnect and reconnect after 5 mins. Also, please add some fresh and crystal clear and simple alarm sounds. Thanks.

Great app with scope for improvements..
Perhaps the most simplest app which shows charging speeds on iPhone. I had an iPhone 13 and this was working flawlessly ( showing the charge current ) but when my wife got an iPhone 14 series it did not work. I initially thought showing the charging speed had issues with her phone, but when I also got an iPhone 14 plus yesterday, charging speed does not show on my iPhone as well. So I guess issue with all latest 14 series phones. Please release a fix with an update that charging speed works on 14 series devices as well, developers. Thank you Raja
Hit or miss with ads EVERY TIME you use it
Typically would work 80% of the time. It just randomly not alarm on the set mark % of the battery. Every single time the alarm needs to be set when plugging/charging the device. And annoying ads on top of this some ads don’t have close [X] on it so end up having to restart the whole thing only to start the same ad. Volume on ads blast sound right away which is super annoying. Will try other battery/charging alarm out there. Hopefully, they are not ad-infested like this.
It does job but battery drainer
Hello team, I’m very much elated to see such application as even Apple didn’t introduce this feature even though they have capability to do so. My only gripe is it’s sheer battery drainer even when iPhone is not in use. After much contemplation I’m giving this feedback. Generally night between 11-6 my mobile will be in don’t disturb mode and I don’t get any kind of alerts, using automation I have setup this activity but even during this time it drains at least 20% of my battery. I checked same after uninstalling app, it drains 3%. Utmost important aspect, I bought this application. Please look into else I could share screenshots later with and without application how swiftly my battery drains. Will be looking forward for your reply.

It does exactly what I wanted it to do. I can set an alarm for a specific charge and it alerts me when it reaches it so I can stop the charging. Simple. User-friendly.

Decreased quality
This use to be great. I use to pay a small fee and It would run smoothly. Then they got rid of the fee and replaced them with adds which was annoying but fine. However, the last few adds I got were obvious viruses and scams so I no longer see this as a safe app to have on your phone.
Not sure if it’s working fully
Sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesn’t ring once the screen is locked.

I’ve been using Batyery Charge Alarm for over 1year now and I love it. You can set the % that you want to stop at and the BCA alerts you to that %. And it’s totally free!
Doesn’t work!
I set the alarm to sound after it changes past 78% but it never does so. I tried it three times.
A widget will help a lot
Instead of opening the app every time one needs to charge, if there was a widget that could set the alarm directly from the home page, it would’ve been so much better.
Doesn’t meet my needs
I often use my phone while it’s charging at my desk, but the app only works in the foreground. Also, it keeps turning down my sound volume, and I’m trying to listen to audio when using the phone.
App to start by itself when connected to a charger
If the app starts by itself when connected to a charger . It will be better. Because sometimes I forget to set the alarm and the battery is full to 100%. And continues to charge. Otherwise it’s a good app.
