Coco is the best Korean teach!!
If you want to learn Korean from a real Korean teacher schedule with Coco. I have learned so much I feel I could be dropped off in Korea and manage by myself. Look her up she used to manager her own company as a CEO so she has real world experience.
Unprofessional behavior
I had been working on this platform for almost 7 years but suddenly I wake up, and they say that my teacher’s profile is no longer visible to students, meaning I can no longer sell any packages or recruit new students. No need to mention that this happened without prior notice. This is completely unacceptable and inhumane. Couldn’t you at least message the teachers 1 week before this was about to happen to show some dignity?! Needless to say that I’m unable to download my certificate which contains my teaching experience on this platform!!!! I need my certificate asap and an apology.

Don’t be tricked by the 4.9 star rating
Amazing Talker must be doing some fake review trickery, because there’s no way this is accurate after the experience I’ve had. Also, you’ll see many 1-star reviews from teachers scattered throughout here to back up my claims. I signed up as a teacher, and my account appeared broken for a week until I messaged customer service. Until they fixed it, my app had broken non-working features with error messages. When it finally came to the time I scheduled a demo interview with an employee at Amazing Talker, I was reassured that maybe this app would be okay. When they never showed up for my Zoom meeting with no explanation for almost two days realism set it exemplifying that this app wasn’t all that it claimed to be. I wasted my day setting aside a time for an interview, and waited on camera for a half hour giving them plenty of time to show up. I was shocked when I reported the no show, they replied to me apologizing for my “family problems”. It seems that internally, the employee made up the excuse that it was ME who didn’t show up because of some family mishap, which is a straight up lie. July 10, they said they would contact me to reschedule. Still nothing.

今天兩個小孩改用兩個不同email帳號比較方便約課，結果兩個都進不去App了，用網頁版的輸入email和密碼就沒有問題。後來是把app刪除後再次下載，才成功登錄
Been On For Years
I have been using AmazingTalker for years now learning Korean language to studying numerology to singing. This is an amazing platform to learn a lot. I highly recommend it!

Does not even pay minimum wage. Nearly impossible to get clients. They take a 30% cut of everything you make. Do not waste your time

以前照片上傳拍直的上傳後是正常直式，這個月來發生拍直的上傳完變橫的，而且每一次都這樣，讓老師看作業時很困擾，請改善，謝謝
At room非常難用
整個App都很難用，訊息都不會自己跳出來，要一直關掉重開才會顯示最新的訊息，AT room難用連老師都覺得不好操作，步驟太多！影響上課效率！ 只有付費結帳整個很順…………優惠券用完大該就會不想用了！
視訊教室很難用
有時間和錢搞自己的視訊教室，還不如優化app和網站的使用者體驗⋯AT自己的視訊爛到害我遲到兩次
I missed some lesson but customer support resolved.
They sent me a coupon for the missed lessons. Customer support is great!
Terrible model
They match you with students, and you have 3 minutes to respond. Meaning, you have to be in the app 24/7 literally. Most of the students don’t reply back. Preply is much better. On top, a Reddit I read says you’ll spend close to 40% of your pay on commission and fees. No thank you!

UI/UX 體驗糟蹋
推薦amazing talker 學習英文口說，但UI/UX體驗真的糟糕到不得不上線評論。介面難用、不流暢，點擊教師名稱理應要進入教師頁面，但是在不同地方點都會跑到不同的畫面；且畫面點擊跟轉換都很不流暢。前兩年下載就覺得很難操作了，隔兩年重新下載回來還是一樣糟糕==還有很多沒提到的問題，請官方請專業的UI/UX團隊改善吧

I’m studying Korean and Spanish. Both 선생님 and Profesora are great at tailoring to my individual needs at the time. I feel as if I am learning more and more each class. I even want to get 2 more tutors just to have more people to talk and learn from. I highly recommend. I have links to my tutors to share as well.
Full of scammers.
I joined AT like a month ago, to teach English. It’s been hard to find students but putting that aside, when “you do” find students or match people you start getting this messages “ Hello how are you doing I just went through your bio now and I believe you’re the perfect tutor for my company project” I have received at least 15 of those scam messages. The website doesn’t have any kind of filtration for students and literally anyone can register and start scamming teachers.

A good platform to learn languages, but is too strict with the class attendance
Amazing talker is a good platform for learning languages. However, if you have something pops up suddenly or you don’t feel well that you are unable to attend the scheduled classes, you will lose the classes without refund or the opportunity to re-schedule. They claimed that it is compulsory to attend the scheduled classes on time since teachers have prepared for the classes. However, everyone is busy and lots of things can happen suddenly. So, it is sometimes very hard to attend the classes on time. It is unreasonable to ask adult students to sacrifice their other important commitments to ensure teachers’ preparation is not wasted. I suggest amazing talker to be more flexible and this will help to attract more students.

App works great and my Korean teacher Coco is the best
The app works really great on the iPhone and my Macbook. My Korean teach coco is so cool and she really helps me out a lot. I am on my way to listening to kdramas and mama moo Kpop without subtitles!
Bugs in setting up the price
I noticed that when you’re trying to offer a customized course to a student, you can tap “Course” to create one, but the duration comes out as 10 min no matter what you choose (25 min, 50min, etc). Please fix this ASAP so that tutors can provide the right lesson. 10 min is way too short!!
Sort by accent
I hope the apps can have a new function which can sort the accent. I moved to the liverpool recently, but I’m facing at the accent problem. I hole I can practice this city accent. Unfortunately, whenI use the apps I don’t know how I can find the teacher who can speak scouse.
Terrible user experience
I would say, the user experience of this is extremely bad. The navigation is not intuitive, a lot of unnecessary popup windows and so many bugs. Somehow the website either. I just don’t know why can so many users tolerate such poor design platform?
Search criteria should be improved
Good app , but unlike italki and Preply, search function should include more categories or could let students input some specific text

i love the app it using it to learn korean but i jsut don’t like of how we can’t get out really money back and have to use it on a different teacher because i had refund some classes just for me not to get nothing back and when i did try to use it on something else i the app i still had to pay so i don’t know where my money had went but i do want it back and i think it’s something they should fix

Great service!
I love how you have an unlimited amount of trial lessons you can do. The only critiques I have are that, 1) when you’ve checked you messages sometimes the notifications still stay there, 2) you can’t delete/hide previous messages from other tutors you’ve spoke with, 3) there’s no option to toggle off getting emails every time you receive a message. As for the main use of the app, I love it, it’s a wonderful resource.

Amazing app except…
The app is awesome! I connected with a teacher who I’ve been studying with for two years. I have learned so much from her and we have a great time. She gives plenty of time to talk, learn new things and homework. The only thing I don’t like is the cashback program. After two years, I still haven’t figured out how to get the money I’ve accumulated. The steps are convoluted and seem unattainable. You have to become a “study buddy” which is nearly impossible. The cashback feature should not be associated with it. I can’t control how someone uses the app or have a desire to learn a new language. Only what I can do.

It’s great but not perfect and that’s good enough
I got interested in AT through Instagram and it was the first time I did something like this. I like that the teachers reach out to you first. It’s easier than scrolling through every single teacher. The app itself has some bugs sometimes but it’ll fix itself if you refresh the page or close and reopen the app. I did have a problem before when it came to cancelling a lesson. As a mom of 2 under 2 y/o, rescheduling a lesson is constant. I believe that the cancellation/reschedule of a lesson should be up to the teacher and student without the need for it to be 12 hours before the lesson starts. If it’s alright with both parties, it should be okay instead of making it a big deal. It worked out for me in the end but it was a little confusing. All in all I actually enjoy using AmazingTalker
Terrible new video option
The app is good for finding someone to teach you but the new video options via the apps is terrible feels like Alpha version.
Slow and distracting
Slow and distracting , need time to update. Too many icons in tutors title that distracts from the original fact.

Easy to download and searching language and piano classes for my kids.
Worst app EVER!
This app has been difficult from the beginning and just gets worse the more you use it. Interface is dysfunctional and there are so many kinks and bugs with the app. Their customer service reps are nice but sadly can’t fix anything or help. Sadly if you want to learn a new La gauge you’re kind of stuck. But prepare yourself to be constantly frustrated and spending more time talking to a their helpdesk than to your teacher. Just awful!

I was learning Korean on my own. I have no language partner and really needed to speak and hear the language in order to progress. The growth I’ve experienced since learning with my tutor is tremendous!! They are reasonably priced and my tutor is patient, encouraging, and great at teaching!
