Great game, but needs a proofread
I write this having played through all available story. I loved the story, enjoyed the find-the-differences, and really enjoyed having to read back through the investigation and timeline and evidence to figure out what happened instead of having the solution handed to me. Thereโs so many typos though. Itโs mostly wrong verb tenses, mixing up singular/plural forms, and pronouns*, so itโs not difficult to follow the story. But it can be annoying. (*Pronouns are all over the place. At least once per case, a suspect will be referred to as both she/her and he/him. Most glaring offense is Pโs profile, where P is explicitly identified as male, and then referred to with female pronouns.)

Why I wanted to love this game!
I loved the concept of this game and the game play itself is great and has lots of detail which I appreciate. BUT! It is so hard to unlock the next chapters! It takes 120 gems to unlock chapter two and it just too hard to acquire them. I donโt want to sit and watch ads for days nor do I want to long in daily with nothing to do. I hope they make it easier to get gems so I can continue playing the game but till that happens I will be deleting it.

This game has such a great storyline. My favorite part of Detective S is the murder cases. I wish there were more murder case levels because itโs really fun to solve the murder and read the story behind it. I love the art style! Itโs so unique. If youโre looking for a great blend of: โ finding differences โ a bit of critical thinking โ captivating storyline Then this is the game for you. Iโm beyond excited for season 2! Intriguing, fun game
Out of all the spot the differences games out there this is one of the better ones. Interesting premise and nice, clean art make it a fun time passer. Only issue is hearts are too easily lost and wait times feel a bit long. Would give 5 stars if they gave at least 30 minutes of game play vs the 10 I get.

Itโs an interesting game in concept, but there are places where it doesnโt make sense. I failed to catch the first criminal on attempt #1 because motive was written as โmotifโ and I couldnโt understand what they were asking at first. All the sentences are a bit choppy and awkward. The other issue I have is that you only get 1 heart per hour, with a max of 5. After that, you can either purchase more or watch ads. Rough when one investigation requires 10-15 hearts

Very nice
I love the art style and the story (although the revenge for dead parental figure IS over used) Itโs very nice. I personally love detective games and it really hits the spot. If I would change something It would be the interrogations (after investigations) itโs a bit weird to pay for EACH of the interrogations, it would be slightly more fair if one heart would unlock the suspect chosen as many interrogations as you want (although this is a mobile game and it is what it is)

this game has great potential. i love how the โspot the differenceโ mechanic is used here. a lot of times these games just tell you what happens; while here, you really feel like youโre a detective solving the case. i also love how u can keep watching a video to extend your time, instead of only once, & then nothing. & how you only see ads when you want them. the art is super cute, too. i love the mcโs design! & the music fun. HOWEVER i canโt give this 5 stars, mostly because of the progression. i was able to play through the first mission & the prologue, but after thatโฆ not so much. even with chapter 2 being half off (60 gems) itโs still very difficult to collect enough gems to get it. i would appreciate gem rewards for solving the levels or for the prices to be reduced to something easier to collect. (also, this is minor; but i feel like the energy system could be a little better? instead of spending an energy every time you play, maybe the energy only gets spent if you fail? though i understand that may mean no more unlimited ad-watching to extend your time.)
This game is awesome!
Iโm always down to play a mystery game, but sometimes the ones for mobile devices fall short. Not Detective S! This game is great because you get to experience your classic find-the-difference game with a twist of mystery! Detective S is a nice balance of fun and challenging, and unlike most mobile games, ads arenโt constantly interrupting you. You can choose to watch some for more in-game lives and diamonds, but other than that, ads donโt appear at all! Seriously, this is one of the best mobile games Iโve ever played. I highly recommend you give it a try. Also, good job devs!

Fun game, lots of typos
I really like complicated whodunnit games, and this one is a lot of fun. The only drawback is the English translation. Itโs not very good. I can piece much of it together, but the case closed file and outro for case 1 are very poorly translated to the point of being almost unintelligible. But, other than that, love the art style and gameplay so far!
I donโt quite get it
When starting the game everything is in English, the title and everything. But as soon as you get into the game, the conversations, evidence, menus, and everything needed for the game are in Japanese. While this isnโt a flaw necessarily, it seems weird that the majority of the โcontinueโ buttons are in English. If in the future there was a translation, I would gladly play this, but Currently there is no evidence or plot to make me want to continue!

It is a decent game with cute animations which resembles BUSTED (show) but the hearts doesn't refill on its own overtime, making no progress to the game u_u.

Cute and interesting format
Cute detective game with storylines and puzzles. I liked how you find evidences through puzzle then interrogate suspects to guess the culprit. One personal dissatisfaction was that there are three cases in such format and others are just find the difference puzzles with the main characterโs past story. I look forward to more cases than past stories. Plus, the translation needs better work. I was able to make correct assumption of what it meant to translate, but it did confuse me time to time.
GREAT CONCEPT terrible gameplay
I made it through the first 2 stories. However you can unlock the third unless you have 120 Gems and the only way to get gems is to buy them or log in daily. I see no need to log in daily If I donโt have a story to play. Just wish it were easier to get gems without having to spend money. I have to delete because I canโt advance anymore.

Really simple but fun mechanics of finding the differences between really well done illustrations! Iโve managed to unlock the second chapter from the free rewards from the game and Iโve noticed that the translation to English has been somewhat poor throughout the first two chapters at least. Iโm not grammar master but it does make the detective part of the game more difficult since I canโt decipher the story due to the poor English. If it were any other game, grammar issues wouldnโt be a problem. Considering this game is story dependent, I do see it as a disadvantage. Otherwise I really like the game and would consider spending money to unlock more chapters if this issue is addressed, but for now I am uninstalling.
