Started at Jebena end up Married
I met my beautiful wife through Jebena exactly 2 years ago. Thanks Jebena
Full of scam profiles
Horrible app full of scam profiles you can easily find out that the profiles the use are from Instagram influencers. just a waste of money since you pay money to see them
Decent app
I think the app is mostly decent, i get plenty of matches however my one gripe about it is the word limit for the bios…it’s way too short lol. I can barely put any info about myself before running out of space. Not going to lie, a bit surprised that this hasn’t been dealt with already. Seems like this should be a simple fix so hopefully that’s what happens soon. Also, when selecting photos to include in our profile, it doesn’t allow me to select any from my “Favorites” album on my iPhone which is a bit annoying when you have your better selfies saved there. Forces me to scroll through my photos for my good pictures.
Not good for Ethiopians
This app is developed only those who lives in outside of Ethiopia and Eritrea/diaspora , it’s known that Ethiopians and Eritreans can’t pay by credit or debit card. Why don’t you make inclusive? It doesn’t have free chat. Kindly consider people who live in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Lots of scammers not reporting options
The site have many scammers with real people picture. Careful giving your WhatsApp account.
Not getting matches as per my location
Not getting matches as per my location
All fake accounts , too many fees
I’ve been using the app for about a week now. The few people that actually answer messages after matching disappear or give an excuse of not speaking English when asked for a verification video call.. most of the users on this app are fake. Also you have to pay to see all of your ‘matches.’
Making Habesha Love important
This app is the only thing keep the legacy of our ancestors going. The app solves for the lack of love between Habesha diasporans. A few bugs but it’s getting better.
App issues
It’s a nice app but everytime I log in to try and see 10 new people, it always says 20 hrs from now, but that’s around 4-5 am. I wish it didn’t bound me to a time where I was sleeping and rather just kept the swipes waiting for me when I use the app again.
programming
poor programing
Keep it up 👌
I'm loving the new AI bot
Basic app
The app has bare minimum and you only get 10 dislikes and likes a day😩
Wont let me upload my 4 pics
App is really buggy and wont accept four pics ive tried to upload which is weird
Great App but with gender identification problem
Like using the app but tries to connect with any sex.
I can’t login using my fb
I’m Jebna addict but I can’t login using my fb, now I can’t find chicks all my chickens are gone
Terrible: Avoid this app at all cost
Rife with scammers and fake profiles running pig butchering cons. Combined with the severe 10-profile daily limit, this app wastes your time and money. Stay away.
Need a major improvement
Only 10 likes for 24hrs you got to be kidding me
Good idea but lots of issues with the app
I like the idea and hope this will help for our community to reconnect but there is lots of issue with the app it is hard to invest any money on it
Solid app
Great app. Easy to get started and easy to use. Has a reasonable amount of filters as well so I can find what I like.
Bad Application with scammers everywhere
Not even worth 1 star. This app is full of fake profiles and actively exposes users to scammers, including so-called “pig butchering” scams. My experience was terrible. Avoid this app at all costs.
Make a change .
So , I’ve been using this dating app for a while now ironically I’ve been stoking by fake accounts. Unfortunately, there is no feature on the app to report fake accounts . Y’all needs to do something about it, so other people don’t have to experience.
Location
Since the new update can everyone see where your excat location is. that’s why i deleted this app.
Game changer
I don’t live near any habeshas and never thought i’d find a habesha girl. Met my soulmate and forever grateful for Jebena ❤️
No Authentication , full of fake accounts
Anyone can create an account with any picture they find online. Most dating apps require you to scan your face upon creating an account to make sure the photos used are yours , but not Jebena. Even accounts that get reported as fake or scam don’t get removed. It’s quite disappointing.
Great idea but bad execution
I love the concept of connecting the Habesha diaspora but the app is severely flawed. It only lets you swipe through 10 profiles and has you waiting 24 hours for your next ten profiles. That’s absurd. No one has an attention span of 24 hours. Seriously, it’s super discouraging and makes people want to just delete the app. 12 hours is fine and most apps do that but 24!?!? Come on that’s trying to trap people into purchasing subscriptions lol
Love the idea but keeps crashing
Always goes to white screen and yall don’t update the social media pages to let us know if you’re aware
Great app
Nice interface, easy to use and met a lot of people through Jebena
So Dissapointing
Only get 10-20 people a day. It costs money to uncover people who like you, and when you pay and like a person back, they don’t show up in matches. Meaning, there is no way to communicate with them. Basic functionality is not there. Don’t even waste your time with this app.
Unlocks
I haven’t been able to match for 3 days straight now because everytime I hit the 24 hour waiting period I’m asleep so as soon as I wake up ready to match it just restarts the whole 24 hour waiting period over all again without my chance to even match. I’ve spent money on this app & feel like I’ve wasted my money now.
Interactive messaging needed!
Great app but the messaging section needs updating.
Fake App
Scam
Great app backed by great team
App is wonderful. Not bloated with unnecessary features and delivers what it promises . Easy 5 stars. The team behind it are professional and super friendly. I think there may be a few abandoned profiles but there are twice as much active ones. All to say don’t let this discourage you from giving it a try and finding your partner.
Nothing but fake profiles
This app is infested with almost entirely fake profiles
This app is amazing!
Met a lot of quality girls on this app.
Not worth it
You only get 10 likes every 24 hours that’s including the one you dislike. Don’t pay it’s not worth it and very slow app.
