Trying to register, yet you guys are saying my first name don’t match my Bvn, when it’s clearly thesame. You guys don’t even have a verified instagram page. No way to complain to customer support for assistance. Fix up your app o, not encouraging at all
KYC document upload failure
Uploading ID and signature for KYC keeps showing upload fail
So Frustrating
I’ve never seen an update for the Switch by sterling app before. And it keeps misbehaving most times. I wish the following can be fixed concerning this app. 1. Slow transfer of money. Sometimes it takes forever before money is successfully transferred to another account. The worst part is that my account get debited while the app process a failed transaction. Too bad 2. No in-flow transactions history. I’ve never seen a financial app without transactions history except Switch. No details of how money comes in within the app. I can only find how I receive money. It makes no sense at all.

Worst App Ever
This is the most frustrating app you can ever use. To access your dollar and convert to Naira, you have to send a handwritten letter, do a video call interview and wait for days before you can spend your money. Also the rate switch is using is one of the lowest out there, making me lose money. They charge you for your dollar card but you can’t even fund it without interviews and waiting. Overall Sterling bank has no business running a Dom app.

The worst app experience ever!
Forget the reviews you see. I promise you, this app is one of the terrible ones I’ve come across. The support number does not exist, the UX is horrible, took months to get a virtual card, the tech stack is horrible, balances miss. There’s literally nothing that works seamless, not sure if they QA anything before deploying to the store. Zero stars from me.

Compared to other experiances I've had with Nigeria banking apps and their old school banking and verification system, this app and the services by switch/sterling bank in general is great! They provide me with the good experience that I needed after a stressful ordeal, dealing some other Nigerian banks/banking apps. I had an experience recently with a bank in Nigeria that rejects my request to update my phone number because I filled out a fillable PDF form they sent to me in an email on the computer and not with my own handwriting. The process of updating your personal info should have been made possible online in the first place. Seriously, it's 2024 for crying out loud!

I never write review for apps, but sterling seems to not care about their customer experience or what, I finished setting up my account from the website and need to do selfie verification to complete my registration buh the app keeps crashing only the older version of the app works fine but it force me to update and this time nothing works please do something about it.
