Crucial
The gentle words here made this tough old bird cry. Thank you, Anne.
App crashes within 5 seconds
This happened over 20 times when I was trying to set up the account and there is no way to contact the developer to fix the issue.
Finally fixed
July 27 It took over a month, but the app is finally up and running again. I’ve lost a month on my subscription and I’ve asked them to extend my subscription by a month as well when it runs out July 20 The support people at Ritual have been silent for another week now. Again, no fixes. This is the only app that I have that doesn’t work and for $60 a year. I would say that was called stealing. The app used to be good until it started crashing. Now you can’t even get into it. Written the people and no response. I’ve used the app iOS help on this thing and you won’t even let you log into your account. I’ve done everything possible on my end delete reinstall, latest updates, etc. nothing works. I’ve written them and received no response. All this for a $70 a year app. Which used to be good. Now it’s worthless because you can’t even use it.
Unreadable
Quotes pop-up, disappear not giving me a chance to actually read them.
Leslie
I love starting my day with the Lectio Divina, but have recently had problems with the app closing down before it can even get started. Often multiple times. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded it and it closed out before I could sign back in. I would love to get this fixed so I can give a 5 star rating.
Facebook ad was actually positive ha
I am familiar with the founder of flourishing and wellbeing from experience with a previous project. So I was curious. I have tried a few features and look forward to exploring more Thank you
Phone number required?
Yikes, what do they want to do with your data? 😢
Terrific service
I have paid the yearly subscription TWICE in the past couple of weeks, but it it not letting me access content. And I have no recourse to let anyone know. $100 down the drain. Update - I found the email address and contacted the developers. After several emails, they were able to work their magic and now I have access. They also made sure that I only paid once. Thank you!
Hard to understand
I think the user interface is difficult to make sense of and there’s no help available. Was hoping for better
Update is not working properly
The new update has more glitches than the old format! So frustrating!
Excellent!
This app is an excellent resource for reflecting on your life and journey in a way that invites you to new areas of insight and growth and opportunity. I love the variety of meaningful resources, authors, topics that truly connect with where we are in meaningful ways.
disappointing
Save $59 and go to soundcloud for all this. Not worth it.
Excellent but …
I absolutely love this app and have been using it for quite some time. The only negative response I have to it is the unpredictable loading of new daily meditations. I’m an early riser and love to get my meditations done in the early morning. Sometimes the app updates early and sometimes I have to skip a day due to untimely daily uploads. Ritual, can you please upload new daily practices earlier in the morning?
Costly
Too expensive, bummer. When you open up the app it immediately wants my information, asks questions and only mentions the cost.
Love it and hate it (the crashes)
I have been using the app for months now and love the content. What I don’t like is that is won’t load the playlist and it crashes when I try to see the playlist. I’ve been in touch with support and I have loaded the most recent version but it continues to crash on me every time! I hope this is fixed soon.
Peaceful
Just joining it and already it's a delight!
Opened app for first time
Said I had already used up my listens and wanted to charge me. Hadn’t heard any.
Grateful
I saw an ad or commercial and saw Alex Elle, her voice is soo calming and her spirit radiates! I wanted to get into a guided meditation/ritual and this has started me on the journey! Awesome app so far!
I can’t get the app to work any more.
It opens, but when I click on the link to play a selection, nothing happens. Help!
$$$$
This app is beautiful, well curated, of course full of health benefits and I don’t have any complaints about the digital features or bugs however… Apps like these are for the rich. $50 a year sounds affordable to upper middle class. They should explore offering either a longer trial or free for qualifying income-based or state benefit based plans. Innovators are concerned with being able to afford great tech but it’s the very thing that is creating access barriers to the global majority (non-European).
A pause that refreshes
I’m often in a hurry. Today sudden canceled plans gave me a moment to stop and breathe. This guided reflection was just what I needed.
Free trial doesn’t work
I was able to sample some of the content but I’m limited to only 3 free sessions. I liked it enough to purchase it but I’m unable to do that because my free trial doesn’t end until March 7. There is no help option on this app. I replied to their welcome email message but got no reply. Very disappointed in this app. I’ll stick with the Pray app and give Hallow a try since it has some of the same content I was looking for.
Ritual wellbeing platform
Alex Elle is amazing.
No ritual from Ritual
App isn’t intuitive. Difficult to find information. Plus it doesn’t work well. I clicked on the wrong link by accident and can’t click out of it. Sigh.
Good when it works
I really enjoyed this app…enough to purchase the unlimited subscription. I was only getting three sessions, was told to log out and log back in and now I can’t access the app. I use my Apple ID for log in, my log on marks complete them an error pops up saying log in error. After days of trying I got a refund, hope to find another similar app.
Hopeful and Helpful
Ritual has it all! If you are looking to enrich your prayer life or just become healthier spiritually and mentally, I highly recommend tthis app. It has something for everyone! The contributors are the best of the best. Feeling grateful!
Bugs
Since downloading, this app seems to have “randomly” trigger opening itself as it pleases. No option to end its redirect once it starts. Overrides all current actions & phone settings. Continues after deleting app? Not looking forward to making ritual of monitoring the impact that this has had on my iPhone 😒
Membership will not work.
I have become a monthly subscriber for Premium but I am only getting a trial membership each month. I like this app very but I need to being able to have access to my full membership.
Not fully accessible
I like this app a lot, but I don’t find it to be fully accessible to screen meter users. Lots of unlabeled buttons! This is not difficult to do and I hope creators will take the time to fix it. I can’t get to past episodes, can’t explore anything but what it appears on my screen, hopefully you can do better. Make it worth the subscription price.
Remaining free
The programs aided me in remaining free in the post election blah.
Scam
This app did not state that it was a purchase. It did not list the price. Once you download it, then you realize they charge you $7.99. It is a rip off and it's a scam and shame on them and shame on Apple! Walk away. Don't do it!
My favorite way to start each day
I’ve begun making a point to listen to Ritual as part of my routine each morning. The headspace it helps put me into sets me up for all of the day’s events, both positives and challenges. I especially appreciate how the Daily Rituals are available before I wake up each morning.
Beautiful reprieve!
I am so grateful for this app! It takes all of the things I have been trying to include in my mindfulness practice by making them accessible in one place. Poetry, Lectio, Gratitude spoken by women whose voices linger with me throughout the day. It brings me a beautiful reprieve from the anxiety that can hijack my thoughts. A truly worthy investment!
Just what I needed
This app brings all my favorite spiritual teachers onto one platform. This now my favorite way to start the morning and get a boost during the day. Thank you for everyone involved in creating this beautiful experience!
