Needs more features
This app is short on features. For example, I want to move money from a cash fund to a stock fund. It cannot be done in a set dollar amount. Rather, you can only do it as a percentage of the total amount in the from which you are moving money. Also, there is no way to set up a series of fund transfers over time. I want to ’dollar cost average’ out of a money fund into a stock fund in set dollar increments every week on a certain day. As of April 21, 2026, there is no way to do this on the app.
Easy to use
I’ve worked for several employers and this app is the first one that actually makes sense.
Does not work
Latest update tells you that it cannot connect to the server, make sure you have the latest update. Didn’t have this problem before the update.

Face ID doesn’t work
Despite how many times I say “yes” to the “enable Face ID for future log ins” it never works. I always have to type in my password. How has this not been fixed?

What kind of investment app doesn’t show your earnings on investments or performance of investments? Absolutely useless, I’ve seen high schoolers design better apps than this.

Most Basic App
Unable to track account growth. Dashboard displays numbers with no context so they’re useless.

Simple and straight forward to use. Shows me what I need to see just by tapping on the app icon.
Financial company with poor security
Ascensus only allows SMS messages for 2 factor authentication. This is the lowest and least secure method for auth as phone numbers are easily hijacked. I hold financial companies to a higher standard for obvious reasons, and not using time based tokens is ALARMING. Lucky for them I’m stuck with them because of my employer, but will leave and take my money the moment I can to better secure it.

Only looks back 90 days. Longer term analysis and tracking does not seem possible

Difficult to log in, impossible to remember the name of this stupid app, the app seems to never remember my password, just a terrible app overall.

Great App
This is a great app to help manage my Vanguard 401k. It is very easy to navigate and provides comprehensive information to help guide my investment decisions.
Primitive
The app is very basic, it doesn’t update the account until 24 to 72 hours late, it doesn’t show any account history graph, no comparison with the market indexes, it doesn’t even show how is doing since inception or YTD, just last 12 months. It is simply unconceivable that they haven’t done any improvement in years.

ReadySave Isn’t Ready
This is by far the worst investment app I have ever used. It isn’t user friendly, fails to provide adequate information, doesn’t load reliably. It essentially allows one thing, me to see the balance.
Like using the new app- could be improved
When I first started investing with them, they didn’t have an app. I really appreciate the addition of this app. I like having the easy access on my phone. It’s really easy to understand and move around. However there are some missing items. For example, there’s no way to see my account number or even many details about what type of an account I have. I have questions I would like to get advice on and would happily pay for it. But I can’t find any information on how to contact anyone with the company.

Since joining this organization every time I want to check my account everything is right there plain and simple I could go on but why don’t you check it out for yourself. Know you will be pleased I am.

All the features in this app should be integrated into the main Vanguard app so we don’t two apps

This app makes it much easier to check in on my investments! I wish I were able to choose specific stock/funds to invest in with my future contributions, but I really appreciate the app!
